If flavor had a fan club, Bulgogi Town would be headlining the tour. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, friendly service that makes you feel like a regular--even if it's your first visit. The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and spotless, the kind of place where you instantly relax and know you're about to eat well. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: THE FOOD. We started with the bulgogi pork, and wow--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It comes with rice and a fresh salad, and honestly, nothing on the plate was an afterthought. The salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced the richness of the meat. Simple. Clean. Delicious. Then came the bulgogi cheese fries, which I can only describe as a plate of cheesy happiness. Melted cheese, perfectly cooked beef, and just the right amount of juiciness without being greasy. These fries understood the assignment. The sweet chili wings were another win--fried to crispy perfection like mini Korean fried chicken wings, coated in a sauce that hits that magical middle ground: not too sweet, not too spicy, just insanely addictive. I kept saying "one more" until suddenly... there were none left. To finish it all off, I had a Korean iced coffee, and let me tell you--it was the perfect ending. Rich, smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which is exactly how iced coffee should be. On top of all this? The prices are very reasonable for the quality and generous portions you get. And honestly, the service deserves its own round of applause . The staff was consistently attentive, checking in to make sure everything was perfect and happily getting whatever we needed--with genuine smiles. Overall: great food, great service, great vibes. Bulgogi Town is truly a hidden gem worth searching for, supporting, and coming back to again and again. Do yourself a favor and find this place--you'll thank me later.

An unexpected find that def hit the spot! The space is cute and cozy- I can see myself coming back to work or journal here in the future. I didn't interact much with the staff since I ordered online and grabbed it to-go, but my brief interaction was friendly. The food also felt genuinely priced in good faith. As a student, eating out has become tough with all the upcharges lately, so seeing a menu that was actually affordable was refreshing! I ordered the beef bulgogi, which came as a full, complete meal with rice, mandu, and a side salad. The salad had a nice gingery dressing, and the beef was cooked well with just the right hint of sweetness. They also run weekly deals! Mondays they have Korean coffee for just over a dollar, which feels almost unreal these days. Plus, there's a parking lot (a win). Both times I went it wasn't busy & I'm excited to try other menu items next time!

Instead of all the fried chicken and fast food restaurants a few minutes away, give Bulgogi Town a try. The restaurant is a great little spot that's bright and clean, with delicious options. The owner is a friendly man who really seems to care about his business. Their combos are reasonably priced and we ordered a Beef Bulgogi Sandwich with a fried egg and cheesy fries for around $20. Dining in included bonchon- a little kimchi and fish cakes- which was refreshing. The bulgogi sandwich was wonderful, with flavorful meat, pickled cucumbers, and onions. The bread could be toasted a little more, but it's otherwise very well done. The cheesy fries are nice- nothing to write home about. I'm definitely returning to try the fried tofu!

YUM YUM YUM!!! The food is absolutely delicious! We tried the beef bulgogi, wings and fries and each one did not disappoint. The bulgogi plate was exceptional! Meat was perfectly cooked, it was so tender and so flavorful! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of their food!

The tteokbokki was overcooked and a bit too mushy. It also had this weird plastic taste to it. The kimbap was ok, and didn't have the traditional stuffings. Seems like a nice mom and pop shop and they made the food pretty fast.

The rice portion was very generous, but the beef and pork bulgogi portions were smaller than expected. Service was friendly and welcoming. Small but very authentic Korean restaurant! Had bulgogi and dumpling combo with gimbab and everything tasted truly authentic and good! Side dishes were great as well. Quick and friendly service. Love this place!

5/5 Stars for this small tiny Korean restaurant. I was so hungry that I forget to take a picture of the pork bulgogi plate but I was able to snap a picture of the spicy sweet Korean fried wings! I have been here multiple times and I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is great and delicious. I enjoy getting a quick lunch here with friends. The owner Tiger is a really really nice guy! He made sure I was doing ok and enjoying my meal. He refilled my Kimchi and fish cake twice which was awesome! The Kimchi is made in house by them! The ambience is nice as a little restaurant store and I definitely would come here for a get away lunch. Highly recommend checking them out. It hits the spot when I'm craving Korean food or chicken in Azusa.

Upon walking in, this small restaurant was so so cute and aesthetically pleasing. We had placed an order online and our food was ready right on time. Our food order included cheesy fries and beef bulgogi with rice. We added an extra amount of beef bulgogi. They give you a lot of meat already so the extra meat was overkill on our part. However, the bulgogi had no flavor in my opinion and was somewhat dry. My husband liked it and ate the majority of it all. The cheesy fries were also soggy and too spicy for me. The cheese sauce seemed more heavy on the mayo aspect. I guess I'm more used to American cheesy fries compared to Korean styled cheesy fries. I don't think I'll be back as the food was disappointing despite the other great reviews for it.

"DELICIOUS!!" I'd scream. Bulgogi Town sells mouthwatering, delicious Kimchi Fried Rice ($14.99) and flavorful, bouncy Tteokbokki ($14.99). The portions are large and the taste is spicy and fresh. Bulgogi Town is hidden near Azusa Pacific University. I am so happy the hype is genuine!!! [CONS] Bulgogi Town is located in a hidden, tuck-away plaza with cramped parking. Also, the wait time is lengthy. I arrived on a weekday (10:05AM at opening), and I still waited 19 minutes for both dishes. Bulgogi Town is visibly understaffed with two members. The location is also dingy but clean with four tables with no public restrooms. [PROS] The food is superb! I am genuinely shell-shocked at the food's aesthetic presentation and deep, fresh flavors. The Kimchi Fried Rice has a savory kimchi heat. The fried egg is cooked carefully and perfectly. The dish is filling and flavorful. The Tteokbokki is bouncy and fresh. Its gentle, warm spice spreads as you bite into it. Both dishes include crisp and juicy dumplings. Yummy! Service is also friendly. Customers may pay at register or the self-serving kiosk. Authentic Korean food! We got the bulgogi plate and kimchi fried rice. There is also an option to get fried rice with bulgogi plate for extra charge. Both items come with salad and two gyozas. The bulgogi was packed with favor and the gyoza were crispy! The kimchi fried rice had a good amount of kimchi and pieces of pork. It also comes with an over easy egg on top! We order through machine out in the front so not really much interaction were made with the owners, but it's perfect because it give them time to prepare for the food since they are very limited on staff. Overall I would come back and get my Korean food fixed in the future!

Located in a small strip mall with adequate parking spots on a Thursday evening. We ordered off a kiosk which was nice and easy enough to manage. Today's special included a free drink. Inside seating was a large community table and about 2-3 two seater tabletops. The employee was very nice and service was quick. We both enjoyed our bulgogi bowl , especially the potstickers. I'm glad to see a bulgogi bowl place in town! read more

My wife asked me to eat at Bulgogi Town in Azusa, the food from the website looked pretty good, I was not disappointed, the food was great, I had the Bulgogi plate (beef/rice/2 dumplings/small salad with a sweet dressing) a bit pricey, but the food alone is worth it, not to mention the worker, he was very very friendly and appreciated our business, a bit warm inside but you get used to it within a few minutes, the fried dumplings were the first time I e ever had dumplings (fried) that weren't oily or soggy, they were crisp on the outside and soft inside with plenty of flavor, the beef was sweet without it being overpowering on sweetness, there were onions in the beef, so if you don't like onions, just pick them out, the rice was soft and little sticky which was easier to eat, I hate salad dressing, but the dressing on the salad I ate, it was sweet and reminded me a little of sesame dressing, they have fountain drinks, canned drinks and I believe Korean drinks, there is one long table, so if you're looking for someplace to eat, you may not find a seat, it's made more for takeout, my wife and I decided to eat there, I would definitely recommend. And make sure to get an order of dumplings. read more

So happy I found this place! I was craving bulgogi and this gem popped up. I walked in and was about to order on the self serve kiosk but the worker so kind to offer and take my order instead which I'm glad he did because he also gave me a discount which means the world to me in this economy. Not only that but I sat in my car while I waited for my order because they said it would be 15 minutes and he brought it all the way out car so kindly. Service is top notch which makes the ambience of the place even better. Food was so tasty and fresh, the gyoza was so good too! read more

Nice mom and pop restaurant serving good Korean food. All their food is well seasoned and well prepared, plus it's a decent value. I thought about docking a star for charging for kimchi (a definite no-no in my book for a Korean eatery), but they were super friendly and I love supporting local eateries. My fiancée and I came here on an empty stomach and decided to try their tofu soup, wings, tteokbokki & dumplings. Everything we ordered was so delicious and flavorful! I'm so happy we gave this place a shot since we typically go out to Rowland Heights whenever we're craving Korean food. We're stoked that this place is local! Pork and Beef bulgogi plates were served hot and delicious! Their cucumber kimchi here is amazing. It's a small dining area but the music they play is nice and not too loud. I believe the service is the cherry on top! The workers have a positive attitude and are very friendly. The little dumplings they serve with the plates were crispy and filled nicely. Got the kimchi fried rice with bulgogi and it had 5 tiny pieces of meat. Basically no meat. I even looked in the bottom. Doesn't have kimchi flavor really either. Will def not be returning. My wife and I have been wanting to try Bulgogi Town for several weeks and finally stopped in. I had to give them a 5 out of 5 for the simple fact that they do every the right way. *Service with a smile *A genuine greeting and polite offer to place our order directly with him at the counter, if the self-serve touchscreen was not our choice. We ordered the #21 combo [Beef Bulgogi, rice, salad, dumplings & fountain drink. We also ordered the tofu soup! Medium spice to test the waters turned out to be delicious, but we will be opting for spicy when we return. The meat was tender, plentiful, and perfectly seasoned. The small side of kimchi and cold noodles hit the spot. The dumplings were served hot and packed with flavor. The soup came with its own side of rice, a nice touch compared the the other average up charge locations. We ate everything. Even the side green salad came dressed with a tasty vinegarette. Overall, we recommend Bulgogi Town. We will definitely be back for a return visit. For anyone wanting, craving and in the mood for some tasty, you will not be disappointed. The price is right as well! Their portions are quite generous, without overdoing any aspect of it. We chose to eat there, inside their dining room. The service was great, the guy was very nice. The interior is cute and clean. The food was delicious , lots of flavor, and good amount. I got a pork bulgogi, rice cakes, and kimchi. Rice cakes were good with perfect amount of spice. The kimchi was just how I like it, not too bitter. I also got the KTown coffee which I liked, pretty strong flavor. read more

We just had take out from Bulgogi Town and my 80 yo Korean father and I really enjoyed it. He states that the flavor of the food is just perfect. I have to say I was very impressed with it myself. We loved the spicy pork and the tofu soup with kimchi. Definitely a perfect spot to fill your Korean food cravings. I will definitely order from here again. Next time I want to try their bulgogi. Good quick Korean meal in Azusa. We ordered the tteokbokki combo and the Korean ramen combo. Combo meals ranged $12 to $17 which is reasonable with today's prices. Both came with Musubi and dumplings. Both meals were flavorful and filling. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would surely be coming back read more

The pork bulgogi has good flavor and spice. It was juicy, little fatty. The bread with it was not fresh tasting, little dry. The beef bulgogi was dry, seemed overcooked, very light on the sauce and no spice. Dumplings with it were lukewarm. For two entrees it took 23 minutes. Price range of $12-$16 per entree. One large table inside, a few two top tables. There is an ordering screen which is efficient and convenient. Seems like a good concept, but not perfect execution. read more

Just had Bulgogi Town (where Tony's Tacos was located) and I highly recommend it! So happy we are finally getting a broader selection of food in Azusa. The pork bulgogi was spicy but not too spicy, like at my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant. The beef bulgogi was more like beef gyudon (think Yoshinoya beef bowl), which I do like, than bulgogi I have had elsewhere or cook at home. Quite good though! Looking forward to checking out more of the menu! read more

Depending on where you go, I find the service at the restaurants I have been to are pretty quick. I appreciate that they have outdoor seating and indoor seating and the plaza has a lot of parking. Unfortunately, on the weekends, it can get quite busy, but I always find parking. I definitely recommend visiting Haven city if you are unsure on what to eat. There's options for everyone!

Staff (name on receipt - Yaya) is helpful and hardworking. Yaya answered all my questions, and Yaya moved quickly. I ordered the King Steamed Meat Bao ($9.14 - 3pc) and 10 Won Bread ($5). The food was ready in 14 minutes and 54 seconds. The 10 Won Bread has three filling choices: mozzarella cheese, custard, or red bean. I selected the custard filling. The 10 Won Bread had a thin, crisp, and crunchy outer crust; its similar to a finely toasted waffle. Its inner layer is very soft and spongey. Breaking apart this toasted pastry, hot & gooey custard cream bursts forward. I enjoyed the sensation and mild-sweetness of this sticky, flowing liquid. The King Steamed Meat Bao also tasted freshly made. It avoids being dry; rather, its bun is supple, buoyant, and springy. Its filling tastes fresh and slightly savory. Fortunately, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor tables to use since it's connected to the Haven City Market. Bright, bubbly music appeared around 10AM; however, it was silent prior. I stumbled upon this new Korean spot in Azusa and walked out thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, I could tell this place was the real deal! No frills, just heart, soul, and seriously good food. The woman taking my order was incredibly kind. While her English wasn't perfect, she made a genuine effort to walk me through the menu, and that kind of care goes a long way in my book. It felt like I was being welcomed into someone's home, not just another restaurant. I ordered the bulgogi plate, and wow -- hands down some of the most tender, juicy beef I've had in a long time. Every bite was rich in flavor, perfectly marinated, and clearly made with intention. Azusa isn't exactly known for Korean food, but this place is a game-changer. We decided to give Bulgogi Town a try for dinner tonight, and wow, what a gem! We ordered online and the experience was seamless. The restaurant looked very clean inside, and the staff seemed friendly. As for the food, it did not disappoint! We tried the pork bulgogi, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly spiced with just the right kick. The beef bulgogi was equally tasty, and the Korean ramen was also very flavorful with a spicy kick. And the dumplings that came with the meals were so good and crispy, we could've eaten an entire tray of them! The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced, which is always a win. It's exciting to have a spot in Azusa serving up authentic and tasty Korean food. Bulgogi Town has officially earned a spot in our regular rotation. This is truly a Hidden Gem in a very small strip mall. Very clean, staff very friendly with a cheerful hello when you enter. The place is plain but cute. Both my wife and I ordered the Bulgogi sandwich with a small salad and two potstickers. You also get a small serving of kimchi and fish cake. Every think was just right. The Kimchi was fresh and cool and my first time for fish cake was amazing, nice texture and just the right amount of sweetness. The potstickers had just the right amount of crispness and the salad was refreshing. The bulgogi sandwich, this was the best bulgogi I have ever had, tender and smooth marinated flavor on a Fresh roll. This is a place we will revisit again and you should head there also. read more

We had a great experience here! We ordered the beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, and wontons, and everything came out so delicious. The meat was flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly, and the wontons were amazing as well. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly. I recently discovered a Korean restaurant online and decided to give it a try. Since they're still in their soft opening, I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bulgogi sandwich was delicious, and the atmosphere of the place was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made for a great lunch experience. I think I'll be coming back often.
