Bulgogi- this beautiful meat marinated with peach juice is a great opener for anyone who has never had Korean bbq before. The meat is juicy, has a slight sweetness, great pairing with soju, beer , or coke. Pick your favorite choice of beverage. Pork belly - most Korean bbq pork belly is fatty and greasy, but not this one. Crispy and doesn't feel too greasy going down your mouth Brisket - I have friends who go Korean bbq just to pig out on brisket, just a lean piece of meat that you can add additional favorite preference of seasoning, or you can just eat it straight up Pork neck - this is actually a bit like spam, crispy on the outside and just meltz in your mouth. Devouring bowls of rice with just pork neck is no problem Chicken gizzard - this is a personal favorite. I love crunchy and chewy food, it does take longer to cook to get it softer, so definitely order this one in 2nd rounds. Spicy chicken - who doesn't love chicken in general. Great taste, juicy with a hint of spiciness to it, again, goes great with rice They also let you get some steamed egg, anchovies noodle stew, and red bean paste stew, all great choices. Everything went well today, but definitely waiting line the entire time we were there. Food was absolutely great! Service was excellent. The owner was visible and very polite. A low key AYCE kbbq with 2 "plans" that you can choose from. Option A was $29 and Option B was $35. This place wasn't amazing compared to others I've been to, but it was still pretty good. We chose Option A and our favorite was the bulgogi! So flavorful. We also tried the curry pork belly since we've never seen that and it was pretty good as well. We got rice, steamed egg, and a salad too. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. He checked in on us a lot to see if we needed anything, but not so much that it was overwhelming. He also refilled our sides when we finished (the cucumber side and rice paper really hit the spot). It's a really casual spot for dates or group dinners. Nothing too flashy but just a good hangout dinner spot overall. They also have a tv inside (if that matters for those that watch sports) as well as a free parking lot. read more

AYCE BBQ spot with a lower and simple option to dine or a $35.00 one. I personally wouldn't have an interest for the lower costs option and its offerings for a bbq outing. We arrived late in the afternoon. Much more spacious in general vs the last place I went, tables large and sturdy, staff was nice. We wanted to be able to try more than a few things on the menu due to only being two of us. They were accomodating in not bringing out too many overly large servings of meat. While a smile is nice in service, so is not having to ask for things multiple times. I don't want to put them down. Everyone was sweet. They may have been having an off day or just more interested in other tables needs. Asking for water numerous times is generally a red flag to me. I was there to enjoy my meal and company despite little imperfections. I sat and thought for over a day how to voice this as being something to be aware of to other companies. Without leaving a poor review. Many items they asked us if we would like more. Would be happy to return. Service here is great and I find the staff to be friendly, engaging. Might be because of the times of gone to eat here but I usually haven't had to wait too long whenever I've come. They have a good variety of meats, and they have 2 different option plans for a fairly reasonable price. The quality of the meats are always good, and the portions of raw meats are generous. The side dishes are tasty and I love that they give you good amount when they bring it out so you don't have to constantly be asking for a refill. Obviously there are KBBQs out there with better meats or more sides or more of a hip ambience, but honestly I love how eating here makes me feel like I'm home and local and can still get a great experience. read more

AYCE KBBQ. It's not bad for Torrance/Gardena. It would be on the lower end of the the AYCE KBBQ spectrum in KTOWN though. The meats are pretty decent here but I miss my Kalbi. My friends and I usually order the lowest priced set which is about $20.99 and that doesn't have Kalbi. 2nd set has Kalbi but only one per person which isn't enough to go around. Banchans are okay. It's not that the food or service is necessarily bad, but there advertisements all over the restaurant for alcohol. By itself, neither is that necessarily bad. One of the problems is that nearly every advertisement utilizes a pretty, young Asian girl to entice you. Clever! That's still not what's necessarily bad. Me and my husband were looking for a AYCE KBBQ spot because we live in Carson but go all the way to Cerritos to eat it. We happened to see this spot on Yelp and decided to try it out. I loved the way there is so much lighting! The restaurants we've been to before were always dark and dimmed so all the light was so nice and comfy. The staff were so friendly and although there were only two of them, they were keeping up with all the tables and their needs. We ordered from the B menu which was around $35 per person. And it is very reasonably priced for the quality of meat you will be getting. We stuck with our 3 meats; beef bulgogi, marinated short rib, thick pork belly. Cucumber kimchi 10/10 SO GOOD! Sweet, savory, and flavorful Kimchi 8/10 really good and strong flavor Beef bulgogi 9.5/10 SO TENDER, FLAVORFUL, AND JUICY! Pork belly 10/10 I loved it. Crispy, tender, and flavorful Beef short rib 10/10 literally the most tender short rib ive ever had! We are so happy we found a good kbbq place that's so close to home. We won't be coming back. It's not just because their food is just so-so and they nickel and dime you for everything most AYCE places don't charge extra for, like rice paper and rice. Their sign says 4-7 year olds will be charged half price, so that means kids 4 and under are free, right? WRONG. My daughter is 3 and we told the waiter as such when he asked. At the end of our meal, I had rush to take my just-potty-trained daughter to the bathroom before she had an accident. They brought the bill out while I was in the bathroom so I didn't get a chance to look at it before someone in our group paid. It wasn't until after we got home did we realize they had actually charged $17.50+tax+gratuity for my 3-year old who only ate rice and steamed egg. They probably thought they could pull a fast one on us because we had a large group with kids. One of my favorite KBBQ restaurants here in the South Bay, I am never disappointed when visiting this place. They have both indoor and outdoor dining, I stuck with outdoor because the indoor area can be quite stuffy. Service is top notch and the waiters are always bringing new meats, condiments, and checking that everything's going ok. Their meats are nicely cut, juicy, and well seasoned. One thing I was surprised about was the service charge tacked onto the bill at the end (about 13% of the total for me), so be warned. But overall worth a visit. read more

This is our spot when Gen has to long of a line. The food is good pork belly isn't the best. But overall it's a good time, the service is great to. Only thing is paying extra for rice and rice paper so this place for two actually is more expensive than Gen not by much probably 20-25 bucks. First time here and they're really good ! Would definitely come here again. We came on a pretty busy night and they were still doing outside dining and social distancing all the tables inside. Had to wait a little bit but that's no problem. Amazing customer service and the food was great ! We had their soju deal as well. It was buy two get one free but it was only for their original flavor. Their sides were pretty small in portion buuuut it's all you can eat so you just keep ordering. It was all very good and very filling and expected. Quality was decent but of course they limit the amount of the good stuff you can get to only 1 serving, but really, that didn't matter that much since you can only eat a certain amount; any more food and I would have had a food coma and laid to rest right there. Bull BBQ is a decent Korean BBQ spot off of Western. There's probably 10 different KBBQ spots off of this street, but Bull BBQ is now one of the best ones in the area. The meat options aren't as vast as what Gen has, but Gen is also very Americanized. We went to Bull for dinner and it was surprisingly crowded. We waited around 15 minutes before we were seated. We decided to go with the $18.99 AYCE option. The $18.99 option includes: Beef brisket, bulgogi, beef belly, black pork belly, pork belly w/ spicy sauce, pork belly w/ curry, marinated chicken, super spicy chicken, spicy chicken gizzard, spicy pork skin, small intestine, and large intestine. You also get to choose from the soups and extra category which consists of: steamed egg (one per person), red pepper paste stew, soybean paste stew, noodle soup, rice porridge, and steamed rice. You also get your typical banchan (sides) like kimchi, cucumbers, bean sprouts, pickled radishes, potato salad, and regular salad. Out of the meat options we just stuck with the beef brisket, beef belly, bulgogi, pork belly, and large intestine. The quality was pretty decent considering the price of the AYCE. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner at Bull BBQ. It's definitely not the best Korean BBQ spot, but it will satisfy your KBBQ needs if you're on a budget. read more
