What are the options for AYCE? And how much? The menus I see posted are from 5 yrs ago

Do they take reservations for a party of 9?

    yes

How has the menu changed since COVID? Was curious before I decide the come back. TY.

Do they sell raw meats for takeout?

Hi Cristopher! We actually don't have any separate menu for take-outs, however, if you would like you can text us your order and we can prepare fresh raw meats for you! If… Read more

Is there a price difference for kids?

Yes, there is. If I remember correctly my nephew who is 7 was charged half the price of any combo. And my twins who are 15 months along with my two year old nephew were free.

Is this restaurant anyway connected to the Star BBQ that was in koreatown? I sitll haven't found another kbbq place that had intestines the same way as Star BBQ did.

Just wanted to pass on info from the employees at Bull BBQ. Star BBQ was sold and purchased by a new owner and then renamed Bull BBQ. It had something to do with financial problems or mismanagement. Them employees also said they would only come in… Read more

We got the medium spicy galbijjim to share. The meat was super tender and the dish was flavorful all around. Portions ended up being way bigger than we expected, so much that we had to take leftovers home. The owner ended up helping us repack everything since our attempt was pretty rough. He laughed at us but made sure nothing would leak in the bag before we left. It really has that mom and pop shop feel. Its pretty small and the tables are close together, but it doesnt feel cramped in a bad way, it just adds to the charm. Would definitely come back here again.

Wooga Sullungtang is officially one of my top places to grab some ox bone soup without having to deal with a longer, traffic-ridden drive to K-Town. The broth is silky smooth, rich, soothing, and honestly tastes wonderful on its own. But of course the salt, pepper, and plate of chopped green onions really amplify and improve the overall dish. Purple rice and banchan were delicious as well. I love how thick and crunchy their radish is and I loved pouring some of those juices into my broth about halfway through finishing. Kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and fish cake were so so addicting. Service was impressively quick. I came in while the Mexico vs. South Korea World Cup was broadcasted so the energy in the restaurant and servers was ELECTRIC. I loved how the vibe of this place oozed with support and a sense of community.

I ordered the soon dubu soup and Galbi combo. The Galbi was 2 strips of LA cut shortibs. The meat was very fatty, chewy, and it tasted like it was bottled marinade. The dubu soup was nicely prepared. Not sure if this was an off day for food. I'd be glad to go try it again. Service was friendly and welcoming

Came here recently and noticed they upgraded their menus from the typical placemat printouts to…read morephysical menus. It also seemed to include some new items, or at least ones that weren't printed out on the placemats. We've previously tried their cold noodles, galbi, hot stone bimbimbap, tofu soup and seafood pancake. All are pretty good but the cold noodle is our favorite. This time we ordered their fishcake kimbap and the cold noodle and galbi combo. I previously saw photos of their kimbap but didn't see it on their menu until now so I was excited to try it. It comes with 20-24 pieces and a side of soup, quite a lot actually for one person. The kimbap was as expected, it was flavorful, had a slight crunch (from the pickled radish) and didn't fall apart easily while eating. It comes with a dipping sauce but it wasn't particularly noteworthy and I didn't feel it is required to use. The cold noodles were a bit different this time but overall had the same flavor. It comes with half an egg, pickled vegetables, slices of cucumber, and slices of meat in an icy broth with buckwheat noodles. Be sure to add the mustard and vinegar for added flavor. The side of galbi was as expected, but doesn't arrive sizzling like at many other Korean restaurants. The flavor can vary, sometimes more flavorful than other times but overall it still pairs well with the cold noodle. Service can be a bit spotty, especially when they only have one server doing everything. It can be hard to flag someone down so be prepared to sit around for a while if they have less staff and many customers. Overall not a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of.

I thought the bossam combo was definitely worth the money for the pricing and amount of food. Bossam - 100/5, WOW the meat is so tender and flavorful! The cuts are meaty and the sides to eat the boiled pork belly with are incredible. Amazing ssamjang and I loved the salted Napa wrap with raw garlic, jalapeño, and kimchi radish. Don't miss out on the saeu-jeot (fermented shrimp) sauce for a salty and umami packed bite! Tofu soup - 4/5, the fatty pork pieces and zucchini make this such a filling and sweet soup. I really enjoyed the tenderness of the meat pieces. Doenjang - 3/5, tasty but a little too funky for my personal tastes. Bibimbap & veg - 4/5, I didn't realize this was a no rice option and has a shredded cabbage substitute. Still delicious, but wish there were more sesame oil. I ended up mixing in one of the rice servings we got and it was perfect!

Only saw Korean people in there. I've never tried it before, but since it was summer, I got the kongguksu. Wile it's a cold dish, it's so heavy. I don't particularly understand why this is a summer dish other than it being cold. Very rich, very thick. Definitely not something you want to eat yourself. I believe you get salt on the side if you want it saltier. Get the bossam. It was so good, and the portion was huge. Meat was tender. The kimchi was super fresh. Braised fish was great. I don't remember which fish I got, but the flavor was perfect. Not too spicy and very clean. Don't skip out on this restaurant or the Korean restaurants in Gardena in general.

We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!

You can choose up to 3 intestines for the combo, but I only wanted daechang. I loved how they prepared it and it was also cooked with onions, garlic, potato, and rice cakes!!! The customer service was greats The girl who helped me answered all my questions and was very polite. Keep in mind they still have to fry your chicken so it's about a 10-20 minute wait. I wasn't very hungry and wanted to grab something to take home. I tried the garlic soy tikkudak chicken. Apparently this version is fried then baked so it's more crispy. The wings are yummy. They are crispy and the soy gsrlic is slightly too spicy for me. But I'm a wuss at spice so take it with a grain of salt. It's still worth a try though. I'll definitely come back to try more items!
