Just took my wife to eat King Crab at a local restaurant which was great but I'm allergic to shellfish. Walked by this pizza joint and was t expecting much but actually had a great pizza. Thin crust and just the right amount of toppings, cheese and sauce. Would become my local jaunt but live a few thousand miles away. Researched restaurants that are gluten free in Juneau and unfortunately there is basically nothing to choose from except this place and another pizza place. Went here on 7/30/21 for lunch. My husband and I were the only people in the restaurant which isn't a great sign but whatever. I asked the cashier if they had gluten free pizza because I have Celiac disease, and he said they did, but only in a 9 inch. We ordered two 9 inch pizzas, with one being gluten free ($15.34) and my husband's being a regular crust with two toppings ($11.87.) Also, there isn't an option to not tip when you run your card, despite the fact they don't deliver the pizza to your table, they don't even offer you water, or wait on you in any way. The employees were gone when we looked around to see if we could get a water. These two very different sized pizzas came out. I went back and asked which one was gluten free and also said these are clearly very different in size. The cashier and another guy said they gluten free crusts are pre-made as 10 inches (?) and that my husband's pizza was definitely 9 inches. No it wasn't. My pizza tasted fine but it was way bigger than my husband's pizza. I gave him a few slices of mine and asked if the crust tasted different because it was gluten free. He said it was drier. Not even 10 minutes after we left, my husband had to pull the car over for me to throw up. Whatever I ate had gluten in it and was making me sick. I'm guessing there was major cross contamination for me to get that sick, that quickly. Between: - getting sick right after leaving - no option to not tip - no water offered - clearly two different sized pizzas when we ordered two 9 inch pizzas It's a 1 star experience. read more

My pizza was 40 minutes late. didn't even work on my pizza gave me a different pizza with basically no pizza sauce. The interior was fine.

Ordered a French Dip with double roast beef. The meat was a tiny portion, and the au jus was watery. When leaving, my friend stood at the counter, ignored for a bit, wanting some foil or a bag for his leftover sandwich. When he asked, the employee mumbled a "sure" without turning around, continued to work on her task, then finally provided some foil. A fb commenter, Hannah G, said, in her ignorance, that I should ask the establishment to correct my order before posting it in a public forum. To her, I retort: Not the first time. Three sandwiches in a row have been subpar, underwhelming. This is their standard practice, and I have given them plenty of chances. I don't need to eat here. Secondly, I didn't have time to allow them to correct it. Not everyone has a two and a half hour lunch break, on the clock, to eat and get their nails done before returning to a position in which they are under qualified and overpaid. Good day. read more

We ordered a few pizzas for a meeting and they were all great! The team got them ready in time and they were delivered exactly when we asked for them. From the pepperoni to the garlic chicken, they were all cooked perfectly. The sauces and cheeses were fantastic! The crust was right in the sweet spot, thin, but not too thin. The pizza was ok! It's about what I expected in the area. What would be nice though is friendlier staff. The woman I met was great and optimistic but the guys don't even welcome you when you walk in. Could be much better. Also when your restaurant is dead it wouldn't hurt ya to just bring the pizza to the customer. No idea what's happened to Bullwinkle's Pizza but it'll be a long time before I order from them again...IF I order from them again. It was bad enough that the pizza looked as if it was thrown into the box, but everything was room temperature and the chicken strips were actually cold! After I scraped the pizza out of the box I had to heat the chicken and the pizza in the microwave. During this pandemic we keep reading about supporting local family owned businesses so we're doing our part. But how about those restaurants provide their supporting customers with better service and better quality food! The support has to go both ways if it's going to work for everyone! read more

Bullwinkle's pizza is very good, but delivery was horrible. We live 1/4 mile from the store and it took over an hour and a half and several calls for the pizza to get here!! So when the pizza arrived it was cold. The manager had sent the driver to the wrong address. This same manager was rude and kept giving and changing excuses. Will never call again!! read more

Great pizza and fun classic arcade upstairs. This place is straight out of the 1980's. Popcorn while you wait for your food. Simple, but fresh, salad bar. It feels like a local business that has been here for decades. read more

I really enjoyed my pizza. Had great flavor, lots of toppings and thin crust. My favorite thing, was that they take the sauce to the edge of the pie. As I was about done, I was wishing I would have gotten a larger pizza. I'll be going back, the next time I'm in town. read more

Came in for dinner with the family. They ordered pizza and I ordered a French dip. This was terrible! The bread was overwhelmingly the bulk of this meal. You can see in the picture the meat was so sparse, like maybe two slices of meat. The meat was like shoe leather and overly salty. I would recommend NOT getting the French dip at this place. My son got a veggie garlic pizza which he really enjoyed. This place has video games to play so it's a great place for kids. read more

Ordered a pizza and garden salad for delivery. Took over an hour to get to me. The pizza was barely warm. The salad I got was mainly lettuce. Salad dressing was barely a teaspoon full. Not nearly enough for the salad. It was a weeknight. Their excuse was that they have a new driver. The delivery person seemed new and frazzled. Good people, nice place with games only thing the pizza sometimes taste like cardboard but the taco pizza is the bomb.

The only reason I give 2 stars is because the pizza is actually good, I'd give it a 7/10. But their price is waaaaay to high for a pizza place. I've grown up in Juneau and always enjoyed some bullewinkles pizza but now they have gone way overboard on pizza that probably costs them no more than $5 to make. The other day I ordered 2 large pizzas and almost payed $70!! The same thing at Dominos, Pizzeria Roma, Papa Johns and Papa Murphy's costs half the price and is just as good! I'm sorry but that is just ridiculous. They sure do ask a lot for them wanting us to support a local business. The Pizza is good, but never worth almost $100 just to feed a regular size family. Also, the customer service I've received at the downtown location is probably the worst. Overall, rude workers and super expensive pizza. I just don't see this place staying around much longer. read more
