    Lemongrass tofu sandwich
    Sydney J.

I ordered ahead online a lemongrass tofu sandwich for pickup and asked for no jalapenos and no peanuts. It was ready on time and they followed my request accurately. The restaurant has some outdoor tables along the sidewalk. I could mostly taste the cilantro, mayo, and pickled carrots. It was okay, but I felt it was overpriced relative to the size (at least, I know I can get more for the same money from some other places that sell banh mi). I wish they put more tofu in it, and the lemongrass flavor was almost non-existent.

I really enjoy this place and its man locations. I think there is something for anyone on the menu! I love the bus sando and the chicken pho. The service is always wonderful and the fries come out hot!! Will be coming back here

Among 4 locations, this place has the best sando! Meat is fresh and tasty! Five spice chicken has the right amount of basil and veggie, very balanced! Cashier and waitresses were also helpful and kind. Keep asking me if I need any other support - as a solo eater, I might not finish up a whole sando and fries, they will provide takeout boxes and also watch my stuffs when I used the bathroom. Great experience! And I like this location the best! ( I will return to eat at their market st location and airport locations)

Stopped in for some quick dinner and ended up getting the lemongrass pork banh mi and crispy egg rolls. It wasn't busy and ordered at the counter. Food came out fairly quick. Inside had seating and some outside seating as well. The egg rolls were good. I liked the filling and how crisp and not greasy they were. The sandwich was a pretty good portion but pork wasn't too flavorful and felt slightly dry. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich and was good. It was lightly battered but not very crisp. The chicken was really juicy and liked the toppings. Flavor was pretty good too.

Still my go-to Banh Mi sandwich place in San Francisco. They go for about $13.75 each. Some might say they are the yuppie Banh Mi place but I like the place. Food and location is clean. I usually get the Lemongrass pro or 5 spice chicken, but when they occasionally bring back the catfish that is my favourite I never miss. Salt and pepper fries are a must. Jalapenos are REQUIRED. They also offer salads and bowls.

Delicious everything! Got a spread of everything and all that is pictured was about $80 which for the amount of food and quality is really good! That includes 1 tiger stripe cold brew and my friend loved it. Highly recommend.

    Ordered Sweet Potato Fries

I came in after 230pm and was greeted and helped immediately. I ordered the chicken pho and sweet potatoes fries. The broth was delicious and flavorful. There were large pieces of chicken!!! The sweet potatoes fries were crispy and not dry! They offered a sauce to go with it. Ambiance is very clean and fun! If you are on Fillmore Street, come in and look at their menu!

    Tiger Stripe Cold Brew boba

The Tiger Stripe Cold Brew's sweet cream tastes like yummy vanilla ice cream, but beyond that the drink was just OK since the coffee flavor was mild. I'll try their food items next time.

    Classic Combo Banh Mi
    No N.

Pros: chicken pho was actually decent portion was good. 3/5 Tiger cod brew: sweet but not overly 3/5 Cons: classic combo was not good at all. The pickled carrots and daikon mixture was too sour and overpowering. I think it had pate but barely, didn't taste any butter/mayo, flavors were so off and meat was dry. This is the first time I had to throw out a banh mi . 1/5 If you want good banh mi for half the price, come visit Duc Huong or Huong Lan in South Sacramento. Area is kind of sketch but just come during the day before nightfall and it's normally busy with crowds. Service was great but when the food you specialize in isn't good, it's not enough for me to come back. Not saying that to be mean. So disappointed.

    Itzel A.

Not the best picture (because I was hungry lol) I got the classic combo and it was delicious! The staff was kind and fast. 10/10 coming back. (Originally got it because I was missing my Vietnam trip)

    Nirsh A.

I finally got around to trying this place today after walking by it so many times. I ordered the five spice chicken. It was so good. I feel like the chicken was flavored really well, and the bread was also really tasty. It wasn't too hard or too soft. I really enjoyed it and I would definitely come back here. I also heard the soup is really really good and the salad. So I would love to try those next time. I also think it's decently priced and not outrageous.

In researching places near where we were staying, we learned about the Italian deli and shop. We were looking forward to stopping by to check out the store and grab lunch. The store itself is very cute and charming, full of so many items - fresh meats and cheeses, imported olive oils, pastas, desserts, wine, and liquor to name a few. There is an area where you can get coffee drinks and there is a deli area for ordering sandwiches, pizzas, specialty dishes, and salads. The variety of options is plentiful. I ordered an iced coffee beverage, which was great. My significant other and I ordered a sandwich to go, which we were splitting for a light lunch back at the hotel. The person helping at the counter was not very friendly or helpful with questions. We asked for our sandwich to be made on the Dutch Crunch bread, as we were looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, when we got back to the hotel, it turned out that the sandwich was made on a regular ciabatta roll, which was not fresh. Additionally, the sandwich was mostly mixed greens. For the price, I expected more meat. With so many great food options in San Francisco, it is likely we won't stop by on future visits to the City.

The line on a Saturday that went from the intersection, around the fridge section, to the cashier took about 15 minutes and the sandwich took another 15. Both sandwiches were filling and fresh. We got hot ones with toasted bread. The couch potato with crispy pancetta was good, but American cheesier than expected. The preferable lemon pepper chicken sandwich was bright, flavorful, and tangy, with more dimension. I don't know if it's my favorite sandwich, but certainly top five. I give them five stars, however, because everyone was unpretentious and super nice, the sandwich artist is a machine, they have unique items, and they only charge $1.25 for a can of soda. As for the fresh chocolate chip cookies, my wife liked them. I didn't understand the hype. They were fudgey and doughy, so I guess if you like eating cookie dough you'll love them. We bought enough to have one as an appetizer and one for dessert.
