Burbank Tire Pros have proven themselves to me, time and time again over the past 6 years of me going there, that they are a service looking to honestly help people with their vehicle's problems. When they have been able to fix my tires by patching them, they have. The time they couldn't, they brought me out to show me the tire and explain why a patch wouldn't work. (I had run over a glass bottle and the tire basically exploded so I mean, I understood it). First time I went with a BMW with a nail in the tire Harry was friendly, professional and honest and and when I told him I used tire sealant he advised to wait and see if it works instead of just taking advantage and fixing the tire. I brought my wrangler the next day they inspected it and torqued the suspension and not charge me since the car had no problems. The first time I came here was January 2022 to have my car checked, and they told me about the possible causes of the problem of my car and list all the codes that jeep dealer can do since jeep dealer shops have special equipments or things to update my car software and double check. They didn't charge me for the first visit and gave me advise to bring to the jeep. The second time I came here is today which I asked them if they can help me change my car battery and my starter. They checked and told me that my battery is good and that fully charged and don't need a starter. The small issue about not starting for twice this month is probably from different issue. And It saved me money, energy, time, and stress as a single mom just to know that I don't really need a new battery and I just remember my battery is actually just new for just kore than a year. And they check and explained to me and the hours of waiting is worth it. I was early this morning and come second in line. Waited for my car to have four tires added. I notice that the manager Gabriel serviced other cars that come after me just because they drove expensive cars. Four expensive cars got serviced while my Nissan car was lifted and left there until these other cars got serviced. Very upsetting to see this. It got busy and by the time they got back to my car, the parking lot was empty and my car was the only left. I have always service my other cars here and other managers had a great attitude and the car service always amazing. This manager never gave me a reason for this. No communication at all. This place is a rip-off! All they want to do is sell you new tires. You go in to replace a light bulb and they'll tell you it's because you need new tires. You tell them there is some "noise" in the engine and they tell you it's because you need new tires. You go in for a lube service and they'll tell you the tires are old and need to be replaced even though car tires are under 6 months. You can probably see the pattern. I'm all for supporting small business but small businesses are hurting and they are only focused on making a buck! They will even admit that they can't compete with Costco so how do they expect to stay in business or expect a customer to pay 30-35% more doing business here?!? Upon my arrival, I was immediately greeted by Harry who welcomed me to the neighborhood and ensured that they would see if they could repair my tire but if not then he already had my tire in stock. Within a few minutes, Harry's technician confirmed that I had a nail in my tire and that luckily it was repairable. In less than 15 minutes, Harry's technician repaired my tire and I was out the door to run my other errands. Tuners don't go here, I've been here before and it was alright - but they Didn't even mount my rims and tires and Wasted my time today and charged me full price , took 2+ hours to get my car in the air, I opted to wait and they just gossiped and messed around the front desk and when they finally got to it they told me they couldn't mount my rims because they would hit my shocks, the car isn't on the ground and the tire and bolts aren't even on, that's not true just because the offset is a little different the size of the tires is the same and so is the height and width. And I have full backing from other people with the same fitment and car. They put the rims in the tires and balanced them which I appreciate but they didn't mount them but charged me full price. I went to San Fernando Tires & Sons and they told me it didn't rub and installed them in 20 minutes with only $20 for labor. Just don't go here unless you want them to just screw around with you and in general. read more
