I was in the area and did a pick up order on this location and ordered the avocado burger and my husband had the cowboy with fried mushrooms and let me tellllll you, it was so good! Both burgers were juicy and packed with flavor. The fried mushrooms, when you take a bite, the juices just pops in your mouth! It's not too crunchy but it's still so good. It's bit pricy but well worth it. It's a bar and grill kind of scenery, everyone is so welcoming and great customer service here. We can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. This was my first time at this location. They've done a good job converting the pizza restaurant that was in this location previously. I got the El Diablo burger with onion rings. Great presentation. The char and flavor of the burger was great. Good flavor profile with the exception of the pickled jalapeños. The vinegar pickling overwhelmed the flavor. I would have preferred fresh jalapeño slices. The bun fell apart before I could finish the burger. My friend was pleased with his Smokehouse burger and onion rings. He was a little disappointed he had to ask the waitress for a tea refill. A little focus to ingredient choice and staff training and this place should be a success. I'll be back. read more

Went for drinks and food tonight. All of this was great.Service was great. I got a crick in my neck since they changed seating on the high top tables. You had to look left or right to see the sports on the TV's. Previously you looked straight. No problems with neck. Please go back to prior seating arrangement. read more

Looks great in the photos but I wasn't impressed with the actual food. The burger I had (Bourbon glaze) was average and way over priced. Paying extra for the sweet potato fries and onion rings was a mistake. The rings were very greasy and I've had better sweet potato fires at fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed as this place had great reviews. If you want beer, I guess this would be a good place for you. Burg & Barrel is now three-for-three: original Overland Park location, Leawood and now Lenexa.Leawood and Lenexa have a brighter, more upscale vibe than the original in OP, but the original has its own unique charm...........it reminds me of Pat O'Briens in the French Quarter but with beer taps rather than beer steins lining the ceiling. My wife and I call their menu 'upscale bar food'..........it certainly tops what's available at similar bar-and-grill/sports bar locations. Perhaps the most surprising thing to us has been, over dozens of visits over 10 years (mostly OP because it's much closer to our home) is the consistency of the product that comes out of the kitchen. People are human and mistakes happen, but we've yet to see that here over MANY visits. Highly recommend. read more

Group met there for a monthly get together. Order was taken and delivered correctly and in a timely manner (about 25 in the group). I had a wrap which I thought was good enough to warrant checking out other items. Didn't hear one complaint about any of the food quality. Onion rings looked amazing but I didn't taste them My only issue was I thought with the prices ($12-14 being for most things) that the French fries or tots were included in the price (also there's at least under the sandwiches menu in the restaurant a list of sides with some priced higher like onion rings so I assumed at least the fries or tots were included). The tots were $2.50 extra which I would not have ordered if I had known they weren't included. It would have been helpful if the wait staff had indicated when I ordered that sides are extra or list them totally separate on the menu as it appears on the online menu. read more

A very delicious burger restaurant. I ordered the cowboy burger it was a very flavorful juicy burger. The BBQ sauce used on it tasted sweet and amazing. The service was on point our waitress checked on us frequently. The tables were also clean. I recommend going here if you want to get away from the fast-food type of burgers. We've been going to the Burg & Barrel in Lenexa since they opened last year and we still love it! On the night before Thanksgiving we stopped in and enjoyed great prices from the happy hour menu. Our server Shawna and manager Steve both provided excellent customer service. They made us feel very welcomed. The food is great. The atmosphere is great. We look forward to our next visit. I had the Avocado BLT. It wasn't good. The bacon was soggy, and it come on a soggy hamburger bun which didn't seem to be toasted. Usually blt is on toast so the bun was odd. There was no avocado on it, but it was so terrible I didn't even bother to ask them to fix it. The onion rings were soggy and greasy and the fries were cold. We also ordered a burger and it was overly salty, it seemed like a way to add some flavor to low quality beef. The goat cheese bites were good. It wasn't worth $62 for two people. read more

We really enjoy going to B & B for dinner. The food has consistently been outstanding and I love the good selection of beers. Their chicken tenders are incredible as are their burgers. Service has been kind of hit and miss for us even though they seem over staffed at times. Love all the TVs carrying various sports. It has consistently been clean. Awesome inside decor and atmosphere. It was clean as well. The restroom was in great shape. The hamburger was delicious. I got the mushroom Swiss. Fried pickles were good. I didn't care for the Parmesan sauce that comes with the fried pickles but just ask for ranch. French fries were fresh and tasty. Big selection of liquor and beer. Service was friendly and terrific.
