Looking for The Best burger on Maui and this popped up. Normally not a fan of food trucks but decided to give this a try. The oasis is just that. Don't even really feel the Food Truck vibe but feels like built out units. Plenty of seating and the burger was really good! Same for the fries. The ketchup dispenser didn't work but if you don't like ketchup not a problem. Would def go back here. read more

5 star smash burger. One of the best I have had on the island and ever. I was excited to order as the truck itself is beautiful, and I didn't know what a wagyu burger would taste like, but it exceeded expectations even knowing it wouldn't be cheap. Still...the price is pretty ridiculous for a picnic table setting. I think it was over $35 with fries and a drink? Add in tip and that is an expensive lunch for one person. Was so excited to try. Huge disappointment. First few bites of the burger was fantastic, then noticed all of the grease. A good burger allows the meat to speak for itself. It doesn't need to swim in grease and oil to develop flavors. Optimistically speaking, the fries were really good, but my stomach and rest of my body paid the price. Great food. I love that it includes a drink. I always forget to ask for my kamaaina which would make this food much more appropriately priced. Fries and onion rings are both good but nothing out of this world. The 156 Western is spicy and delicious. Recently, I was craving a burger and decided to try Burger Boys in the super cute food court at South Maui Gardens. I think I have to say it is the best burger I've had on the island of Maui since I moved here which has been almost 3 years ago. Waygu beef patty on a yummy bun! I subbed cheddar cheese for American because I am not an American cheese fan and it was also topped with lettuce, tomato onion, pickles. I also did a small order of the panko onion rings. Delicious and crunchy for you onion ring fans. If you haven't been to the food court in South Maui Gardens what are you waiting for? My husband is very picky with his burgers and he agreed that this is one of the best burgers he's ever had. The beef is melt in your mouth soft (in a great way) and the portions were great size. There's some nice tables to sit outside by and we got our food relevantly fast. I usually put ketchup on burgers and this did not need it. It was great by itself. I would try this out!!! Wow, just truly no other words but WOW. So so good. We came here a few times when we were on the island recently. They were so friendly and man oh man is their location in South Maui Gardens super cute. My husband and I got various variations of their burgers and fries. Truly no complaints, everything was rich and juicy and flavorful. I loved the wedgeish sidewinder fries and my husband got some shoe string fries once too. I also thought the prices were quite reasonable especially for the quality of the food. We truly loved the opportunity to dine from and support local businesses. Dinner was delish! This truck is located at the Kihei food oasis which is a super cool venue. Got the deuce deuce and my husband got the P-10 (I think that's what it was called). Today was burgers. As I scrolled Yelp I found Burger Boys and decided this was the place to check out. Well let me say great choice! This place was a little difficult to find due to its the second food truck park on the road. The food was awesome the burger I ordered was the P10 with bacon and pineapple. The lady taking the order was nice explained everything well. The atmosphere there was awesome it's like a garden/ food court outside. This place was great. The 1/2 pound burger had 2 slices of cheese with house sauce, seared Maui Gold pineapple rings and pickles, applewood smoked bacon, and panko onion rings drizzled with barbecue sauce. Highest quality smashburgers made with Wagyu beef blend using lots of locally sourced ingredients and products. Buns are baked locally by Shikeda Maui. Heirloom tomatoes from Haiku. Owner has been working hard to craft the best quality burger on island. I tried it today and it met my expectations. Excellent balance of bun, meat, cheese, pickle, and sauce. If I was going to be picky on anything, it would that the beef patties were ever so slightly thicker than I would have preferred. That said, it was still the best smashburger that I've had on island outside my own home. The location is beautiful. There is tons of outdoor bench seating, an outdoor handwashing station, and 3 porta potties conveniently located not far away. Another Smash Burger place on Maui?!?! Why not!! My friend recommended me this place, and oh boys was I impressed. The lad who helped us at the counter was patient while we we're deciding on food. Once we have our order, he was nice and friendly to us which amplified our experience as we know we are ordering food from people who care about their costumers and their food. I ordered the P10 Smash Burger! The choice of bun they used was a perfect match for the burger. The bun was fluffy in the inside, while the crust was nice and hard. This allowed me to enjoy the burger while it holds its shape, so hardly any mess! The burger meat was nice, crusty, and had a lot of flavor. The veggies were fresh, and the burger sauce was the "icing on the cake", as it brought all the flavors of the burger into one flavorful night. Next time I would recommend getting the double patty smash burger! Fries were also crispy and fresh! Sooo good! Lastly the ambiance is nice and fun. However it could be busy. Overall decent, but overpriced burgers. We had a mixed experience. The Bang Bang fries had good flavor, but they were completely drenched in sauce to the point that we had to order a second batch of plain fries to balance it out. The burger itself was average--not bad, but nothing that stood out, aside from the bun, which was definitely the highlight for me. The portions were definitely generous. Service was friendly but slow, though I'll give them some grace since it was busy at the time. Despite the food truck park being a nice spot to hang out, the overall experience didn't quite justify the high prices. For the price, I expected a bit more in terms of quality. That said, I do love the location in the food truck park--great vibes and a nice spot to grab a casual meal. Probably wouldn't return, especially since we're not local. read more
