Our first time here, DEFINITELY NOT our last! Ordered an off-menu burger that was gladly accommodated! The BEST burger I've had in a long time! Forewarning- you're going to need A LOT of napkins (on the table). Wife had a salad that 'blew Portillo's salad out of the water'. We'll be back time and time again! Ask for Gustavo! We stopped by Burger City after hockey, based on a Yelp recommendation. We are glad we did. Burger City is fast casual, when we arrived I informed the person taking our order we had not been there before, she greeted us cheerful and handed us a menu... Explaining thatnit had more information than the one posted on the wall near where you order. I ordered a Portabella mushroom burger on brioche, my son had a bacon cheese burger. The person taking our orser explained to him it was beef bacon... So it wouldn't be crispy. We also got a couple orders of fries , drinks and my son ordered a piece of chocolate cake. Burger City is clean and nice, for as small as it is theres almost no food/grease smell. Everything is prepared in front of you..and they take pride in what they do- more on this later. My portobello mushroom burger was delicious...garlicky..the mushroom cap was fresh and the size of the bun, and cooked- which is important. The birger was thin and crispy well seasoned and came with carmelized onion and fresh lettuce and tomato plus sauce. It was very good. Fries were freshly made and seasoned....I generally do not care about fries but these were good. My sons cheese burger with the beef bacon was great...I tried a bite and tje beef bacon was delicious. After we finished the owner came out and checked on how we liked the meal... I spoke briefly with him... He prepared our meals and he was genuinely nice and cared about his food quality and business. We went there for the first time yesterday afternoon. It looks like it's in the space formerly occupied by a Subway restaurant. I had the spring salad with grilled chicken, and some fries. All was delicious, and prepared quickly. The help behind the counter is friendly and aims to please. Parking is good. I'm not sure that there is Wi-Fi, and I did not check out the bathrooms. The prices are pretty reasonable, and I sensed that they have already built up a faithful following. The renovations to the space are pleasant and it seems pretty clean. Keep up the good work. My first time with friends on Sunday and ordered portobello, regular, cheeseburger and TX with a classic Cesar Salad. It's the best hamburgers. The three of us all enjoyed this meal. I paid a visit for the third continuous day to try different hamburgers! Yesterday tried Cajun, today Maui. All delicious! I will keep trying until I finish trying all the hamburgers on the menu. I ordered the Jamaican jerk burger, 10 pcs wings (half bbq & half mango habanero) & jalapeno poppers. The burger was leaking. Like, all the juices were seeping through the box and it was really, really wet. Flavors were there but, it was like someone wringed out a whole small towel thats how much 'water' was in the burger? Also, it was spicy as indigated but a bit too much spicy in my opinion. The kind where your lips sting burn for a couple of hours. And I do eat spicy so this seemed weird to me. Note: It wasnt Sri racha spicy, just spicy. The pineapple inside it was nice. The grilled chicked was extremelyyy dry. Even with all those juices in there it could not help the chicken, it was hard to chew. The burger fell apart badly the moment I picked it up. So this was a NO for me. The wings were meh. Too rubbery, lacked sauce & the chicken inside wasn't tasty. There was some weird taste I cant put my finger on, just not chicken-like? The skin of the chicken was like leather, I had to rip it apart using my bottom 'vampire' teeth (I have sharp teeth so thank God for that) and chew so much I ended up spitting it out. Like, you know when you eat an old orange and you just suck the pulp but chew and spit out the 'inside' skin? (Just me? ok then) The jalapeno poppers were the only good thing. The sauce I got with it (chipotle ranch) was good too. I think I paid around 30 or 32 bucks for this. P.s. The burger came without fries which I think is not worth it for the quality. The burgers here and the beef/bacon are OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD! I usually eat here at least once a week and it is incredible. The burgers are great. The fries are great and they have great service. It may be a little more pricey than a fast food burger joint like Five Guys or Burger King but , you are getting what you pay for! read more

Burgers were well made. Very fresh. I just had the standard cheeseburger with the regular toppings, and look forward to trying other burgers in future visits. Sampled the chili, which the proprietor said would be added to the menu as soon as a steam table was installed. I would return just for a big bowl of the chili alone. The place has one of the best burgers I could find. It is probably my fifth time coming back to this place just to have their burgers. It is a drive away from my place and I would always make time just so I can visit without thinking about any problems and such. There are a lot of places with delicious burgers and this one is definitely included on my favorite spots. their burger is huge and the patty is literally huge. The veggies are always fresh and they always put a perfect amount of sauce. Their burger is not just huge but it is also delicious to the point that you want to have it again just like what I had experience. Their fries also have a thick cut and it is crispy in the outside and soft in the inside when you bite in it. The place is also clean and the atmosphere in here is nice. How I would describe the food, the fries were fresh like Five Guys, but not as greasy. Ordered food to pick up for dinner. The online ordering system was easy to use. I tried the two-step chicken sandwich and it was great ! Loved that the onion rings stayed crispy and the bbq sauce wasn't overly sweet. My boyfriend got a double cheeseburger which I thought was a little pricy (over $13) but was a very large portion and he enjoyed it. We also shared some fries which were good but not great. I newly discovered this place. I saw this on yelp and the people are mostly right. it is indeed more than a fast food, it is clean and the interior and ambiance was good. They have nice and friendly staffs. I honestly told the staff that it was my first time and then he recommended their burger and fries which is since I haven't eaten lunch that time. The service was quick and the food was ready after a few minutes. The food has a nice great portions especially the fries. Both of it was still hot. In terms of the taste all I can say is just literally wow. The burger was so good and the meat on it was juicy and I absolutely loved it. Fries are also goo and it was well-seasoned. It was overall a nice experience and I enjoyed the food. Their prices are also far and reasonable. This is definitely a must visit place around the area. I would love to be back! read more

My parents haves raved about this place since they opened and we went together tonight for dinner. The food was great and the folks running the place were so great, too! The ambiance is friendly and casual, decent amount of seating that quickly filled up as we weren't the only family who came in. We were welcomed, and I chatted about what to order (lots of options depending on my preference). I ended up with a bacon burger without the bun, lettuce instead. Beef bacon = fatty deliciousness. We split fries and onion rings, and everything (all of our burgers plus the fried stuff) was cooked just right! I will absolutely go back here. We have been going to Burger City since it has opened and the food has been great every time. What I appreciate the most about this place besides the food is that the staff is always friendly and honest! One day when picking up an order the owner realized while about to swipe my credit card that a customization I made to my order was not fulfilled. If it was not brought to my attention, I would have paid and left for home.
