It works. Kinda. Think of this Burger King as a takeout-only place. It's not, but there are only six seats indoors. Not for claustrophobics: the customer area is taller than it is wide, roughly 8 feet wide with 10-foot ceilings. Occasional weird people around, and don't give me that crap about neighborhood character. The food is what you'd expect from Burger King. Ours was good, and it tasted just like chicken! If you've just finished hitting up would you believe, Trader Sams, Ireland or Abby's Tavern, then Burger King is the spot to go! They're open late and it's literally a walk up window, so you walk up, give your order and wait like 15 mins. It wasn't as bad as the reviews made it seem. The only thing is it's not a place to drive to or eat at. The dining area consists of two tables in a small area. It's also close to the sliding door which can stay open on a cold day & let in all the cold air. I would highly recommend taking it home. There is also very little free parking outside of this Burger King. You would need to park in residential if you don't find street parking. If there is parking available, it would be best to park after 6PM when parking is free. The employees seem really nice and act very quickly to place your order. It isn't very busy in the evening, but that was because it was a very rainy day when we went. I would recommend going somewhere where there is parking, but if you live around the area, then it's not so bad because the people who work there prepare food quickly (hence, fast food) & are pretty attentive to your needs. read more

I got home from work at about 11pm, and my kids were still wide awake, driving dad insane. Everyone was tired of being stuck inside. So I threw the kids in the car and we went here for kids burgers and shakes. The kids had so much fun ordering at the window, but it turned out they weren't doing kid size shakes anymore. DO NOT USE DoorDash or any delivery service from this restaurant. First, they refuse to put service orders in a Burger King bag for what they know are delivery orders. My last DoorDash driver had to pay out of pocket for the bag. Previous orders have been dumped into my hands by a driver or handed to me in suspect looking plastic bags. Not the drivers's fault. Second, the driver directly pointed out to the restaurant that two drinks clearly on my receipt were missing from my order. Restaurant didn't care and shooed the driver out. I like the food. What is sad is that I will NEVER give this restaurant another dime of business. They are terrible at customer service and truly don't care about their customers at all. Coming back to this Burger King is like meeting an old friend. I remember coming here when I was in middle school and it's still here today. I can't recall how many times they've already changed the layout of this place (use to have a bit more seatings). I tend to avoid fast food burger joints but since I haven't been back here for a very long, I thought I'd give it a try like old times. Seems like BK has added some extra items onto the menu. I never knew they sold hotdogs and cheetos themed items before haha. I had the regular Whooper and it tasted the same as before. Chicken nuggets were just chicken nuggets, no complaints. The place is decently clean for a busy fast food spot. The service was fast but the line can reach outside the door when it's busy (Register is literally a few feet from the door). There was this one time I ordered a burger from Burger King. I was starving and only had a few bucks on me, so my choices were rather limited. I specifically asked for no mayo, no pickles, and no onions. I got it all to go, and off I went. Well wouldn't you know, my burger has enough mayo to immediately induce a heart attack, pickles, AND onions. I was furious. There's something glorious about having a late-night fast food window open right next to three bars. Sure, the light says open, and the doors are locked shut. Burger King is back and up and running. It is remixed and remodeled and clean! The seating area has been reduced to handle about six people which also means that there are less sketchy people hanging around (like at the fast food place about 8 blocks away), Still no restroom, but the menu is full service and they have one of those new Freestyle Coke machines that they have been using at Five Guys. The staff is hard working and busy. They seem a bit overwhelmed by the new technology at this location. Instead of grilling the food, it is placed inside some sort of a warming drawer. The billboard menu is somehwat hard to read. The video display changes too frequently from one screen to the next and it actually more disorienting than informative. If they can slow down the video menu, it would help them a lot. read more

I do like the four chicken tenders for $1 deal, but all the chicken tenders are in some sort of crown shape so they can put them in kids' meals. When they were just chicken strips, I could convince myself that they were just pieces of chicken that someone breaded and fried. Now my delusions are shattered. This location was recently remodeled. They have a cool soda machine that dispenses hundred of combos of sodas & syrups. They are super overpowering though, I got a strawberry sprite that tasted like chemical sugar and a vanilla barqs that tasted like vanilla extract & almond super strong. I wish there was a half dose of syrup option. They have fancy new menu boards, and some outdoor seating now, although they take the chairs & tables in as soon as it gets dark. And after 9pm you have to order through a window. Inside there is only seating for 6 or maybe 8 total, so this is not good for big groups or families. The outdoor tables are 2 seaters. When I've ordered inside in the day I've always gotten my order correct, but when I order through the window, guaranteed it will be wrong. They do advertise they accept all coupons, even expired ones. I come here sometimes to buy dinner after work. Theres always two middle age chinese lady working there. They are fast and quick. The lady that always take my order asks all the questions about your order (would you like cheese, what size, to-go or eat in, etc.) She always add napkin inyo my bag eventhough I could get it myself. Today I came here to buy my dinner and theres a new guy working there. He doesnt smile, he doesnt ask all the questions and got my order wrong. I said I want #10, he took my order as 10pc nuggets. When the lady that always take my order asked me what sauce while holding the box of nuggets, I said I ordered #10. She turn to the guy and said #10, not 10pc nuggets. He didnt say sorry or anything. Small corner location with very limited seating after its remodeling. The old pre-remodeled floor plan had a larger seating area but a small kitchen grill area...I suppose a combination of fire department regulations and the occasional street person monopolizing a table led to a bigger kitchen area and a smaller number of dining tables. One "dine-in" trick might be buying some Burger King food in a bag to go with no drink and taking it to the KFC/Taco Bell at 6th and Geary...then buy a drink and some additional food at KFC and sit in the KFC upstairs dining area with a BK/KFC/TBell smorgasboard meal. Fast food overload, to be sure...but at least it in a place with a lot more seats and tables. read more
