    my burger

The place is stinky; there was a rat in the dough I found a trash bag on my car when I left. The food was good. my dad won't leave, though.

It shouldn't have been this hard to get a whopper...

Employees don't speak English and seem to yell at you because they don't understand the app or process. I ordered on the app for the drive through and realized there isn't one. A homeless lady was being dealt with due to a crisis. The whopper, after finally receiving it, was perfect.

wanted to try Chicken Fries - 9 Pc and some 4pc Jalapeno Cheddar Bites. Love the cute packaging.

I haven't had BK in such a long time, decided to try their chicken fries recently. They were WAY too salty. However, I love the packaging, the graphics (cute!) and how they designed the box to hold the dipping sauce is genius.

Order online - this is how they give it to you lol

Ordered online for pickup - she refused to give me a bag unless I rebought more things and gave me this instead for take away. Real classy lol

Notice how "onion rings" is suspiciously close to the words "no onion"...

My first couple of trips there weren't bad; just typical BK experience. Then they hired a new cashier, who, when she took my order and I said, "No onions", took that as an indication that I wanted onion rings instead of French fries. Being in the food service industry myself, I didn't say anything, and figured since she was still learning, she'd have a better handle on receiving orders next week, or even in just a few days. I had faith in her! Next trip, which was just a few days after that, I ordered online first, so I wouldn't have to wait in line. Once I got there, she said they were out of lettuce, so that couldn't be in my meal. Okay, that's fine, except the thing is, I was charged for the lettuce, and instead of refunding the, what was it, 25 cents for the lettuce, or replacing it with, I don't know, an extra set of fries or something, I was charged an extra 20 cents for the takeout bag. (Which brings me to another complaint: if you're going to charge me for the bag, why not include it for pickup orders especially if there's no seating to even dine in?) Again, it was less than 50 cents, so I didn't mention anything. I'm lazy in finding my next meal, so I go in again and this same cashier is at the register. I tell her again, "I'd like a cheeseburger, NO onions." Again, she puts down, "cheeseburger, onion rings." I even tried to verbally confirm with her that she put down NO onions, and that I wanted French fries instead of onion rings. She said she did, but she didn't seem to care about wanting to get it right. She says it's around $22, which is weird, since it's usually, like, $17. So I look at the receipt and notice I got charged for both the fries AND the onion rings. I'm not big on confrontation, but I had to say something this time. I'm not an aggressive person either, so overreacting to the point where I'm being called a Karen, isn't my style. My intent behind this encounter was to say, "Hey, just so you know, you made a mistake here, like you did last time, and you should just be aware next time to at least read back what I ordered to make sure you got it right. In the meantime, can you refund me for the onion rings I didn't order?" The manager had to void my initial order and then retake it, which was when it was finally done correctly. This place is just a block away from where I live, so it's convenient for me, but I'm not sure if I'll revisit anytime soon. What I'd suggest with their customer service is, based on my negative experience, READ BACK MY ORDER BEFORE CHARGING ME. It doesn't take long, or a lot of brain power to take that extra step. I understand this cashier's primary language may not be English, and that perhaps her English isn't confident, which is totally understandable, especially with me. But save yourself and your boss the trouble and read back the order before charging me for something I didn't want. Don't hear the word "onion" and assume I also said "rings" when I clearly did not say "rings". If I DO find the heart/patience to order from this spot again, I'm definitely doing it online. I'd rather spend 20 cents and WASTE 25 cents on a lack of lettuce, than have to order in person from that establishment again. It's stupid, but paying for the takeout bag when there's no option OTHER than takeout, is a much smoother exchange than taking someone's slightly deviated order.

This place was included on a list of Sunday brunch recommendations. I had seen other fellow Elite Yelpers recommending it, so I wanted to try it. We had the French toast sticks, very good, as well as the classic breakfast dish, my partner had the breakfast burrito. Both dishes were decent, but we were there for the company mostly. The restaurant was quaint and cute, more compact, but had a secondary overflow area in a separate part of the restaurant. There were restrooms on both side, and Causewells served as a chill morning for us with our friends. The location had a cute bar set up for evening link ups, and the service was very friendly. The vibe is more of what you go for the food is decent but won't necessarily blow you away. Try them out and see for yourself. For tourists, or visitors of the city, the location is in the Marina District, so Golden Gate Bridge is near if you'd like to sightsee. This location is also very close to the Presidio theater.

From the very first bite, I knew I had found the IT bagel spot in the city. I ordered one pumpernickel and one poppyseed. The staff member helping me was super efficient and scooped up my bagels in a flash. She asked me if I wanted any cream cheese. I dubiously asked if they had any vegan cream cheese fully expecting the answer to be no, as I didn't see it listed on the menu, but she confirmed instantly that they do offer vegan scallion cream cheese and added a compostable tub of it to my order. She also directed me to the canister of compostable knives available for takeout. I was in and out quicker than I expected. While waiting for the bus, I used the plastic knife I picked up to slice one of the bagels and slather on some of the vegan scallion cream cheese. I was impressed by how glossy the bagels appeared on the outside but how soft they are in the inside. The vegan scallion cream cheese really elevated the bagel to the next level. Idk what they put in it, but it's crack. It doesn't taste anything like the original Kite Hill spread I've gotten elsewhere. Suffice it to say, I think The Laundromat has ruined me for bagels and good cream cheese elsewhere.

On a West Portal stroll there is a burger place which sells the Cali Burger. The Cali Burger means fresher ingredients usually locally sourced in California. Calibur is the place to get an organic grass fed burger. I got the double cheese burger with Calibur sauce. It was tasty and it had great flavor along with a soft bun. The fresh grass fed cheese burger pairs well to eat with cheese fries in SF. The fries were crispy and saucy and got a bit messy. I've been here quite a few times now, and it has honestly never let me down…read more I usually play it safe and order one of their burgers with fries which, to be fair, is hard to mess up--but on my most recent visit, I decided to try the monthly special: the Crispy Chicken Tacos. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical because it only came with two tacos, and I was starving. I almost ordered a second serving, but I'm so glad I didn't... or maybe I should have because they were that good. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and you could actually taste the hot honey without it overpowering everything else. It paired so well with the corn, slaw, and sauce, creating the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and fresh. And that squeeze of lemon on top? It brought everything together. Easily one of the best specials I've had in a while. One thing I also appreciated was how extensive the menu is. Since I almost always order a burger, I hadn't realized how many options they offer. My friend and I came with our kids, and everyone found something they were excited to eat, which made ordering easy. We grabbed one of the outdoor tables since we stopped by after the lunch rush on a weekday. The seating itself was nice, but be prepared to share the space with some very bold birds. One especially large bird was absolutely determined to steal our food. Obviously that's not the restaurant's fault, but it's worth mentioning if you're hoping for a quiet, uninterrupted meal outside. I can also see this place getting pretty hectic during peak hours, so if your schedule is flexible, I'd recommend stopping by outside the lunch rush. Overall, though, this spot continues to be one of my go-to places, and I'll definitely be back.
