I wrote my first review of Burger Me! in 2017, and I'm pleased that it's still in existence. My husband and I came here on a Sunday afternoon following offroading at Castle Peak and in Virginia City, and our experience was delightful. It was a late lunch and I was starving, and our custom burgers and fries came out in less than five minutes after we ordered them. They were delicious. The booth seating is so cosy, and the environs are clean and modern-industrial. Lots of TVs for sportsball. It's conveniently located next to the movie theater, and there is a ton of parking as a result. read more

Was craving a good burger and didn't feel like driving into town, so hit up Burger Me at Sierra Summit Mall for a 3rd try. Regret I didn't go to McDonalds or for a really good burger, Legends or Brickies . Anyway, ordered 2 burgers ($7.89 b4 cheese), and basket of fries ($5.25). Ordered burger 'well done' and both came out med rare, very medium rare and the one was ordered wrapped in lettuce. Oh what a horrible piece of lettuce it was.... Bright green, but wilted and limp and worse of all, it appeared to have been cooked on the burger! Fries were 'meh'; not enough seasoning nor hot. Would I return? No! Too expensive and nothing spectacular about the burgers. My bleu cheese was melted and just ran off the wilted lettuce. For $26 I expect better read more

Ordering none other than one of their 'Special' Stuffed Burgers with 5 cheeses stuffed in da middle, BBQ sauce, Onion Strings, Lettuce, Tomato plus making it a Combo Me! that adds a 24oz drink, your choice of regular fries or any of their other tasty choices. I of course jumped for the Sweet Potato Fries - yummmyyy!! Hubby ordered the deLISH Cowboy Burger boasting a 1/3 lb. all-natural beef patty with smoked cheddar cheese, bacon, fire roasted jalapenos, lettuce, tomato & BBQ Sauce andd of course did the Combo Me!! getting the 24oz drink with a basket of Onion Rings - OMTasty goodness!! Staff is friendly, brings your food out to ya, get your choice of bun from brioche, pretzel, whole wheat or protein style andd you definitely leave here rolling out to the car with a bit of grease on your shirt and face - not to mention leftovers. Drink options are not limited to fountain drinks for those needing a beer or wine to make it a true gourmet meal not that the dining area warrants that type of atmosphere, ehh more a local pub then a fancy night out. Unfortunately, quite inconsistent. I've gotten the same sandwich every time but for some reason on the third occasion recently, it was not good...as if I had ordered an entirely different sandwich. The same thing happened some time ago so I took a six month break from going back. Essentially, the sandwich was quite bland and the caramelized onions were seriously under cooked. The manager was nice, seemed to sincerely appreciate the feedback, and gave me a sandwich at no charge on my next visit. The comped sandwich was very disappointing, it turned out to be exactly the same as the other sandwich. I tossed half of the sandwich but brought the other half back so the manager could see that the onions were white and not at all caramelized. He had less interest in the feedback this time around and told me that the onions are more grilled than actually caramelized. I found that to be an odd statement since caramelized onions are what I had gotten, with the exception of the two icky sandwiches, when I've ordered that sandwich in the past. Plus, the menu notes that the sandwich has caramelized onions. In either case, our family will not be returning as it's a gamble to find out if we've wasted time and money again. read more

February 22, 2023 Party of 4 Atmosphere - 2 stars: The dining room is dark and cold. Part of the problem is their door doesn't shut very well. The floors were very dirty, and garbage cans overflowing. Service - 2 stars: Cashier was okay, but she seemed irritated when we said one in our party was gluten and soy free. When our food finally came to the table in 20 minutes, the kitchen staff could not tell us which order was the gluten-free burger. Food - 2 stars: We ordered a medium bison burger, a well-done hamburger (gluten-free), and 2 orders of fries. In my experience, a medium cooked burger is a slightly pink warm center, and well done is a no pink with a warm-hot center. The bison burger had a warm red center (medium rare), and the gluten-free burger was cooked medium. The gluten-free bread was very soggy and wet. Both burgers were bland and unremarkable for the price paid. read more

Came here recently for a quick bite to eat before heading to the movie theater next door. The restaurant was laid out well and has plenty of seating. It's well lit and kept clean. Staff were pleasant and patient while we made our selections. The food came out quickly and hot and was okay, but I wouldn't say anything super special to write home about. I had a patty melt, but it was a bit dry and bland. The garlic fries were top notch though, I'll give them that! Prices are a bit steep. read more

Cooked onions and standard toppings free! Extra for cheese and special toppings. Fries. Hand cut thick and thin crispy and hot yumsies! Like the combination. We visit Burger at least once a month. Service is hit and miss. I took my granddaughters for dinner because the love it and especially enjoy the games....the few that there are!! I placed our order and we sat down. Order arrived promptly. I thought I had ordered onion rings but they weren't on the order. Oh well. I look at my cheeseburger and there is nothing on it but cheese.... No lettuce, no dressing, no tomato and no pickle. This last Wednesday I had the pleasure of going on a date at Burger Me. It was dinner and a movie. The south Reno Summit Mall Burger Me is located next door to a Century Movie Theatre, talk about two birds with one stone, plus the boo was dressed to impress with her witchy fall outfit. I dig her fall boots! I've always enjoyed the north west Reno location along with the south Reno spot. People always give me a hard time because I often order a hot dog at a burger joint...I'll tell you why folks look at my pictures, their hotdog is so legit I ain't about to quit! We rolled in and ordered the boo a slider, for me a hot dog with bacon, cheddar, and grilled onions. And to finish it off we shared an order of sweet potato fries Lady and the tramp style. My hotdog was awesome, it's a classic go to food order. Trust me when you step up and order this hot dog you are telling all of man kind to move over and watch out, because you live on the edge. BME's hotdog continues to put my ass in the Burger Me seats. The sweet potato fries were sweeter than two soulmates head over boots in love. And boos slider was just how she ordered it. Plain with cheddar, bacon, tomato, and avocado. We were living the American dream Yelpstars. After we finished this five star feast we walked approximately 50 yards over to watch a throwback Halloween flick...Beetle Juice! This place is bad--really bad. Should be called "gurgle me." Wife and I both had the house made veggie burger and both were cold in the center (read: RED FLAG). A few hours later and we both have stomach pains. I could get into how the burgers and buns fell apart into many many pieces or how the bun was dry and the fries cold. But I'm stuck on the cold burger and stomach pain. Terrible. read more

Hefty veggie burger! I was seriously craving a burger for dinner and remembered seeing Burger Me's veggie patty on the good ol' Yelp. There are two flavors offered: the original and the southwest. While the southwest sounded good, I'm not a fan of corn and black beans so I decided on the original, which the cashier said it's mostly made with kidney beans and spinach. I was excited to try the sweet potato fries so I also ordered a small to go. My name was called and the order was brought to me in a brown paper bag with ranch and other sauces (optional). When I got home the first thing I tried were the fries. Honestly, these were the worst sweet potato fries I've ever had but the veggie burger really made up for it. The veggie patty was heavy (1/4 lb) and I could see bits of carrots, kidney beans, oats, and many types of greens. The brioche bun was super soft and fresh and the grilled onions tied it all together. While this is probably a once a year burger occasion for me, I would go here again for the veggie burger but definitely omit the fries. read more

I love Burger Me for a great Elk or Bison burger. I also am addicted to their garlic fries!! I am going to warn you, one bite of those delicious garlic fries and you will be addicted too! The staff is great. They acknowledge you as you walk up to the counter to order. They have a large menu and beers to go with your burger and fries. Ambiance is ok. Always a good meal but today I tried their Caprese Burger. Holy Amaze-balls Batman! I had mine medium with no tomato. The pesto and basil in combination with the tasty beef and soft fresh mozzarella made this burger one of the best ever! I think it is seasonal so get it soon! Went to see the new Mission Impossible today, then popped next door to Burger Me for a late lunch. It was our first time there It was good, but nothing special. The fries were really good. Salty and crispy, with small pieces of potato skin on some. My Honey ordered a small Ceasar salad instead of the fries, and that was kind of sad. Just undressed lettuce with 2 small slices of crossing instead of croutons. The dressing was in a cup on the side. I had a regular old cheeseburger. I ordered it done medium and it was spot-on. The patty was pretty thick and the beef tasted fresh. Honey had a French Dip and have it a good review. Generous portion of beef, lots of onion and cheese. The au jus was good as well. The bill was about $30 for both of us including the tip. Would I go out of my way to go back? Probably not, because there's a Sonic near us and Char-B-Que is right down the street. I would go back if I were hungry after a movie again, though. Although there are a couple more restaurants we haven't yet tried that are also near the theater that I would be more interested in. read more

Upping the rating due to some very responsive management. Food a solid 3-3.5, but service bumps it up. Now I'm fairly particular when it comes to burgers. I like a solid medium rare cook, leaving a juicy burger with a great beefy flavor. That patty has gotta be on a sturdy bun that can absorb all that flavor without falling apart. Condiments need to compliment each other and not compete, and this one is totally subjective. Last but not least, I like my fries extra crispy. Not burned, but not floppy. I've been to Burger Me several times at both Reno locations, and no matter what, my burger arrives at what I would refer to as medium. I shared these experiences a few weeks ago and was contacted by management, who implored me to let them know if this occurred again so they could make it right. A day or so after sharing my initial review, I found myself back at Burger Me for dinner. I ordered the Cowboy Burger, medium rare, with grilled onions and bbq sauce on the side. Garlic fries extra crispy. The burger arrived and I could tell it was medium. I cut it in half anyway to verify, and promptly brought it up to one of the managers on duty. I told him about the contact I'd had via Yelp and asked him to validate whether the burger I'd been served was cooked the way I asked for it. He agreed it was not, and indicated I was not the first person to raise the same concern. He had another burger out in a flash. It wasn't exactly medium rare, but it was better than the previous. To me, medium rare is a warm red center. Medium is a hot pink center. Well done is hot grey center. The burger I received was medium by my definitions, and the burger I got back was more rare, but again, acceptable to me, so I ate it. The burger was tasty, even if a tad undercooked. The fries were crispy, but still many were a little limp for my liking. Again, solid 3.5 on food. I appreciate the management taking the time to address my burger and hope they can get the cook down so all come out as ordered in the near future. read more

We've always enjoyed going here but our most recent visit really cemented this place as a permanent fixture on our go-to list. During our visit, my order came out with way too much garlic aoli for my taste... usually I love the stuff but it was just too heavy. For the last 70 days I've been working really hard on sticking to a diet and Burger Me has helped curb my cravings of junk food. The options of a whole wheat bun, chicken breast, and a turkey burger has allowed me to eat out while sticking to a diet and eat something that tastes great. My go to is the Dirty Bird with no mayo and a wheat bun or the Southwest Turkey Burger with no mayo/bacon, on a wheat bun. You saved me Burger Me!! read more

I love this place so much, I was so pleased to learn there is now there South Reno location! I also says order the NV Elk burger with gf bun and garlic fries. The food is Always on point and those fries are insanely delicious- especially with their house made ranch dressing. I splurged for that and a pumpkin milkshake that was SO worth it. Wow, this is hard...but it just wasn't that special, especially when I think about how much money we spent. I had the Ahi burger and it tasted okay and my wife had the Bison burger....and it was okay. Beyond the 'okay' for the food, the place was not very well kept and they ask for a tip as you order. This can be frustrating, as you're hoping for good service when you're considering a tip, especially if you're using a charge card. With all things considered, okay food, okay service, tipping prior to any service being provided, an unkept room, and about $35 out the door for two lunches, we'll be choosing other options.... This is hard to write as I do like to try to be positive. Maybe it was an off day, but I won't be risking it. read more
