What a great experience! From the staff to the food, nothing disappointed. It was my birthday weekend and with COVID-19, we can't eat out, but we can order in. Sushi was on everyone's minds, so we ordered a variety of their combos and some salads. Everything was fresh and tasty. And it was a lot of food for the price, so definitely value. My daughters went to pick up the order and when the owner found out it was my birthday, he threw in some ice cream. This is definitely one of my go-to sushi places. Give it a try!

This is little shop is tucked inside the Tuckahoe Village Shopping Center that's really meant for take out, but they do have 4 tables that seats about 16 people if you'd like to eat in. All of their sushi is super affordable and delicious, made to order and definitely way better than the sushi you'd find at a grocery store. We ordered the United party tray and the raw party tray for take out. All of the them were fresh, the spicy crunchy crab roll was my favorite. Even the California roll (what I usually avoid) was good. We also tried the papaya salad which was very light and refreshing and different from the papaya salad you'd find at a Thai restaurant. The customer service is on point, they were super friendly. This is definitely a go to if you're in the mood for sushi and a great deal if you need to order a bunch for a party! I look forward to going back to try some of their Burmese dishes (curries, green tea leaf salad, etc.)

This is a cool new Burmese / sushi place. I will tell you that you need to come with time to spare. Service is a little slow and if there are others there it may take awhile, but please give this place a chance. The preparation is very good and cost is perfect for lunch. If you get the spicy tuna combo, he let's you pick the fish for the nigiri with a choice of octopus salad or seaweed salad. The Burmese salads are a must try (like the egg noddle salad).

The United Party tray was perfect for 2. Always consistent quality. Love the spicy sauce. Packaged & ready when we arrived for pickup!

The place is clean, and there's plenty of parking. The beef curry is rich with spicy flavors that are balanced and not overwhelming. The orange chicken features large, juicy pieces with a wonderfully citrusy taste. The pad thai was the highlight of the evening, offering a delicious and complex flavor profile with a clean finish. One suggestion: I should have asked for a higher spice level, at least level 2. The service was very friendly and welcoming. This place is a real gem near the College of William & Mary and will become our go-to Thai spot whenever we visit. It's simply the best!

All the noodle and rice entrees come out a very big size, honestly enough to share an entree between two people because the 4 of us had leftovers. I had the red curry special pad thai which I recommend trying as opposed to the regular pad thai. One-two of our dishes was actually messed up on protein- chicken instead of beef and the combination fried rice had only 1 shrimp. They give a lot of meat (chicken) for less premium meat options but for seafood options like shrimp you don't get that many. Other than that I would recommend this spot for thai cuisine.

They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.

It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

When we first walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to grab a couple spots at the bar and figured we'd settle in for a good night. That's where things went sideways. The bartender appeared to be the only one working, and while I understand being busy, the attitude and behavior were honestly shocking. Every interaction felt aggressive. Remotes getting slammed around. Napkins and pens tossed onto the counter. Water being splashed onto the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum. The entire atmosphere at the bar felt tense and uncomfortable. It got to the point where we almost felt awkward ordering anything because every request seemed like it was ruining their night. At one point another couple sat down next to us and almost immediately started looking around like, "is this really happening right now?" I actually ended up warning them that no, they weren't imagining it, and that it had been our experience the entire time too. That alone should tell you how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Which is unfortunate because the kitchen actually did their part. The food was good. Really good. But good food only carries a place so far when the service makes you want to leave before the meal even arrives. I've worked in and around hospitality long enough to understand busy nights happen. But there's a huge difference between being overwhelmed and taking it out on customers. Tazza Kitchen has the food figured out. Now they just need the front of house experience to match it.
