The club on sourdough was a delicious and enormous sandwich- you won't be hungry after this place! It wasn't too crowded and was a fun place just to watch what everyone else got (Reubens look good, biscuits and gravy sandwich and spaghetti sandwiches looked interesting).The parking was horrendous, so just keep that in mind. read more

I don't understand the hype. Food was okay good, but certainly nothing to go telling your friends/family about. I had the Breakfast Burrito with Carne Asada, which seems to be one of their most popular items on the menu. I really appreciated the fact that they give you a lot of meat in your burrito, whereas most places just fill it with 50% potato. Asada itself was very bland though, reminded me of something you'd get from a fast food taqueria chain. Eggs and potatoes were cooked well. Their salsa was very liquidy and disappointing. Portion sizes and menu prices are good. Service was "meh". Seems like they probably always have a big line, lots of kids and families here, so if that Disneyland style stand around ain't your vibe, this may not be your place. Seating arrangement is very sterile, uninteresting (very Irvine company), no character at all. I would give this place one more visit, just to try out there soufflé, but I really don't have high expectations. read more

Went here for lunch with some friends and I really loved the food. All the food was flavorful and definitely worthy treats. I got the open faced chicken ceasar toast. It was really fresh, crunchy, and delicious. The buttermilk fried chicken biscuit was sooo good. The chicken is juicy but crispy, and it has a lump of mash potato and gravy so beware of the calories. The strawberry tea was blended to perfection. The fries were the only thing that were sub par, they were very overcooked (my friend asked for a refund for them). The prices weren't bad either for the quantity or quality of food. Definitely drop by here for a tasty lunch. read more

3.5 stars. Glad that the Burntzilla crew were able to open a brick and mortar restaurant inside the newish Los Olivas plaza. Was excited to try this place due to the rave reviews and good looking pictures. I already had my eye on the 11-day pastrami sandwich (it wasn't listed on the menu but they still served it) since I love myself a good pastrami sandwich (Langerrrrs). I thought the sandwich itself was decent but was lacking something (a slice of cheese, perhaps?). The meat was pretty lean but a bit on the dry/salty side. There wasn't a whole lot of meat either. However, the rye bread was pretty delicious (I do NOT like rye bread either). Fries were freshly cooked so were piping hot and good. All in all, I think this place is good but does not warrant the high prices. Unless they expand their menu to include additional items, I likely will not return. None of the other sandwiches really stand out to me. read more

I came to Burnt Crumbs specifically for the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese ... and although the sandwich was worthy of the 'gram, I wish I was a little more open minded to try some of their other items. Maybe seeing pictures of the damn thing gave me tunnel vision of how the spaghetti would taste, but I've had better. Believe me, the spaghetti grilled cheese was good ... but I'm almost positive I'd prefer any of their other sandwiches or sides. The menu is quite simple. Open kitchen, plenty of seating and the decor of this strip mall restaurant was trendy and modern. So come with a group so you can sample multiple items so you won't have to make multiple trips, unless you live or work near by ... First timer here! Atmosphere is great and staff is friendly and attentive! There is an outside patio for extra seating, as well as indoor bar seating. A soda dispenser is available for easy access for refills also. Food is brought out pretty quickly to your table after you order. I got the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese and it was AMAZING to say the least. Inside has spaghetti with meat sauce and a perfect amount of cheese. The bread was toasted to perfection, and it also came with a side of marinara sauce which is incredibly awesome! I left extremely satisfied, and will definitely come back here to eat again :) read more

Located in the new Los Olivos Marketplace, closer to the side where the Whole Foods is at, Burnt Crumbs is located towards the middle where there are some outdoor seating area for the couple of restaurants that are slightly clustered together. Having tried their other location (Burntzilla) a couple years prior, I couldn't wait to see what this new place brought. A friend & I came for dinner and to catch up, so this place was nearby and perfect to try out. The menu is simple offering choices of sandwiches, toasts, and daily sides with creative twists to each. Honestly, I'm not much of a sandwich person since they can be quite heavy and filling so at first, I was a little apprehensive to seeing if I would be able to try anything at all. My friend decided on the Avocado Toast and I knew I wanted fries...but what else? I quickly scanned the kids menu & I found what I was looking for.. a Classic PB&J with a nice twist to it. I checked in on Yelp and even got a free drink as well! +Avocado Toast: smashed avocado with house riccota - flavor was great and presentation was color as well. +Hand Cut Fries: omg, their portions are so generous that I was able to share this order with my friend and we still couldn't finish it between the both of us. Fries were hand cut, nice crispy fried and the garlic aoli complemented the lightly salted fries well. +PBJ: pretzel peanut butter, blueberry jam, sliced bananas on brioche bread - an excellent mix of sweet & salty flavors here that was captured nicely in one sandwich. The filling spread was nicely blended where it wasn't too much of either. Definitely had a great time catching up with my friend, and the plus was the food was equally as great as well. read more

Amazing!!! Omg sooO good best Avocado toast and soufflé pancake. We drive all the way from Huntington Beach to this location for the soufflé pancake. They make it the best. Service is great too. Lots of outdoor seating. When we were there they did not a lot indoor dining. read more

When I found myself deeply impressed by Burntzilla, I knew I had to try The Burnt Truck's other offspring, Burnt Crumbs. I was afraid they might be too similar or too different, or not quite on the same level of quality. I was wrong to be worried at all. Burnt Crumbs is nothing like Burntzilla except on one thing: quality, and that means the service too! Both don't cut corners anywhere and only deliver you the best of the best. While Burntzilla is about small asian-inspired sliders and hot dogs, Burnt Crumbs is about sandwiches. I tried the Roast Beef sandwich, which was nothing like any other roast beef I've ever had. Every ingredient seemed meticulously selected to create a flavor profile that is unique and sensational. The roast beef was juicy, gentle, and there was plenty of it. The bread had a crispy interior and a thick soft interior. The provolone just added that complementary cheesiness, but the dominant taste was of course the horseradish mayo. Wow, you could tell this was a homemade horseradish mayo with a good bit of burn and a great flavor. If I had one complaint it was that there was probably a little too much horseradish mayo and it may have slightly overpowered the other parts of my sandwich, but it was all still miles ahead of any other roast beef I've had. Well done Burnt Crumbs, well done indeed. I can't forget the fries now! The fries were thick, perfectly salted, and were nice and crispy on the outside. The garlic aioli they give you with it is the best around, and I'm surprised to say I may prefer it as a dipping sauce for my fries over ranch, and I love me some ranch. read more

Southern fried chicken sandwich - enough said. Obviously comfort food but I don't feel gross afterwards despite having mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and biscuit ALL in one bite. Sometimes when fried chicken is too greasy it makes me nauseous but I was ready to eat another one because it was cooked to perfection. The fries come with garlic aioli which was honestly just "okay" to me, may be a little too rich to dip in but since they don't have ranch it's the next best thing. Great service and tons of outdoor seating. Although the food was amazing, having views of other people's dogs definitely added to the experience ;) read more

I planned on order the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and the soufle pancakes, and taking some leftovers w/ me. Unfortunately I got a phone call that cut short the time aid have to wait for the pancake, so it was sandwich only. Came in for lunch as I heard so much great things about this place. Tiny menu and a little pricey. Ordered: Pastrami sandwich- the mustard was so strong my sinuses got cleared after two bites. The pastrami was just plain salty! I can't even taste the meat because it was soooo salty. The sandwich was a waste of money. The fries were good though. They were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The fried chicken sandwich though was really good. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes was good and the biscuit was tender. You have to eat it with a fork though. read more

We've been coming to the Irvine location awhile now, today was our first time trying their brunch menu, which is only available on weekends. We've yet to get anything we didn't thoroughly enjoy, & today was no exception. I finally got around to trying the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and it's delish! Pure comfort food. The Breakfast Burrito was outstanding, but next time I might ask for a little extra cilantro crema. (I really like cilantro.) My wife's breakfast sandwich w/ the pastrami hash was outstanding. Mom's breakfast rice dish was amazing- even my wife who doesn't normally like Spam said she'd order that any day. The breakfast potatoes, which come with many of the breakfast entrees, but are also available as a side, are crispy perfection. The Fluffy Soufflé Pancakes are every bit as good as everyone says. We got an order for the table, with the berry compote. (They're light and fluffy, and taste like they're made of cream and air.) Next time we'll try the strawberry topping, which looks like something from a Disney cartoon, all pink frosting or icing. The mimosas had a touch of strawberry purée I think, and it was a really nice touch. 5 entrees, 3 mimosas, and an order of the soufflé pancakes came to $104.00, which for the quality I count as a good deal And I just can't say enough good things about the staff! They were on top of everything! Well above & beyond what you'd expect from a place where you order at the counter. Not only did they check in on us every so often, but they anticipated what we needed as far as boxes for leftovers. (They even asked if they could bring extra sauce for our takeaway!) Honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw a restaurant staffed with nothing but extra nice people. We will be back. read more

I've been in love with Burnt Truck for years and since they've opened 2 storefront locations in my area I'm really hooked on them now! Burntzilla and Burnt Crumbs are two very different concepts which I can really appreciate. Burntzilla is all sliders and Burnt Crumbs is more Artisan sandwiches and toasts. I can tell everything is made from scratch especially their potato chips, those things are CRACK! Especially with the sour cream dip! Everytime I come here I always get the same thing LOL! The spaghetti grilled cheese! It's just as drool worthy in the pictures as it is in person! You can really share this with another person, the sandwich is just that big! I usually share it with my sister but now that she's on her health kick she doesn't partake in deliciousness like this! The bread reminds you of garlic bread with such tasty spaghetti in between topped off with lots of melty cheese! Make sure you ask for 2 sides of the marinara sauce it has a kick and really complements the sandwich! My sister has tries other things such as the turkey sandwich, the Thanksgiving toast, the Wedge salad and the Chinese chicken toast. I know they rotate things by the season and we've missed out on some good items but everything we've had we like! ^____^ read more

Was in the mood for something spicy so stopped in here for some chicken and some free wi-fi from Starbucks next door. B+: Nashville chicken sandwich - 90% crispy with a tasty aioli sauce. The only knock I have is the coleslaw that came on in. It had a hint of horseradish (which I absolutely dislike) so tasting that throughout the sandwich wasn't quite ideal but next time I would just get it without. See ya later. read more

Oh yes. That was my first thought when biting into a sandwich of art from this place. This place had been getting a lot of attention from my Instagram pages I follow so I had to try it. They had me hooked when I saw the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese. I ordered the Fried Chicken Biscuit with gravy and my girlfriend got the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese, and neither disappointed! The fried chicken was not overly greasy and was seasoned well and had a nice breading to it, and the biscuit was flaky and sweet and oh so good. The Spaghetti Grilled Cheese was amazing, the marinara sauce in the side to dip it in was super good, and the consistency of the crunchy Bread and the gooey Cheese and spaghetti mixture in between all worked so well. Will come back whenever I'm in the area. Pre-Disneyland treat? read more

The brunch is INCREDIBLE. Not only was all the food we got amazing (strawberry soufflé pancakes, avocado toast, and biscuit breakfast sandwich) but their entire staff is extremely personable and helpful. Our first time here! My bestie and I came here on 2/24 for an early dinner. This place was absolutely outstanding! We were welcomed by a friendly girl with blonde hair (forgot her name) and she gave us suggestions on what to get. My bestie and I ordered the grilled cheese spaghetti sandwich. Who ever came up with that idea is freakin brilliant! It tasted amazing! I highly recommend that sandwich. It has a little spicy hit to it, so just a little warning. It came with a side of marinara sauce but i enjoyed it already without the sauce. We also ordered French fries which were pretty good as well, not too salty. I'm a little over a month late in writing this review. As I recall, the service was excellent and I liked just about everything I tasted! Kind of a funny name, but nothing was burnt and the crumbs left on the plate were edible! The two items that I really liked were the Beet Salad with Goat Cheese and the Crispy Fried Chicken with an egg on a biscuit. That Beet Salad was refreshingly good and the goat cheese was a great addition! If you get the Crispy Chicken, be sure to add the egg, you'll be glad you did! If you look at the menu, we ordered almost everything on it! It was such fun sharing and tasting these dishes together with my friends. They have a Spaghetti Grilled Cheese... it almost wasn't ordered, but we saw it and ordered it just before we all decided we were done eating! I didn't think I would like it, but it was tasty! Or was I just loving the sourdough bread and melted cheese? I guess you can make a sandwich out of any ingredients or dishes! Although I didn't completely like every dish, they all had their good notes! The only thing that was a little off was that the Avocado Toast was a little over salted for a few of us. I ordered the Sweet Tea with Peach Puree and could have drank a few cups of the stuff! It was excellent!! The service here was friendly and informative! You order at the counter and grab a seat with your number and they bring your food out to you. The tables are set up in a communal style... long tables. There is plenty of seating outside in the covered patio, too. At night, they can light the gas heaters. If I found myself in this area, I would definitely stop in for that sweet tea and a quick meal. read more

Actual: 3.5/5 Normally, I'm not one to gravitate towards sandwiches/burgers unless it's lunchtime. Burnt Crumbs has been bookmarked on my list for a while and since we were in area shopping at the Spectrum, I thought why not. Parking was packed since this is a popular eating spot despite the large amount of space. Burnt Crumbs has large tables/bar style seating instead of your typical sit-down tables. Since we came towards the beginning of the dinner rush, we were able to snag a spot. This is fast-casual dining, so you order at the register and seat yourself. I would say the pricing is on the mid-end for a sandwich shop. Expect to pay $10-15 for a meal. -Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich (4/5): The biscuits (= the buns) were dry, but were balanced by the potato spread. The fried chicken wasn't crispy, but was juicy and nicely seasoned. This is the first time I've had mashed potato in a sandwich instead of on the side. I guess this is their attempt to make fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuit to be more finger-food like. Incredibly messy and we ended up eating it with a fork and knife. Didn't taste any spiciness and it's supposed to have sriracha honey? I think the price is worth the generous size. -Hand cut fries with garlic aioli (5/5): Thick-cut fries, but not mushy. Super crispy. Loved the garlic aioli and started to dip parts of our sandwich in it. -Pork Belly Torta (2/5): Did not like this one at all. The pork belly wasn't too fatty and is a nice cut. Flavorless pork belly and almost gamey because they don't marinade it or season it well. The bread and pork belly was BURNT (pun not intended). We noticed this when trying to split the sandwich. Biting into a burnt sandwich is messy and not a pleasant taste at all. I liked the guacamole, but the panela cheese was rubbery. Not melted and it was reminiscent of cafeteria cheese. Overall: I think the concept is very simple when you don't want to grab regular fast food. While this place doesn't look like it'll be in my regular rotation, I think I'd invite friends to eat here for a simple lunch-time get together. read more

When i first saw this menu I thought 'it sounds like some people got high and created these sandwiches for sh*ts and giggles...." That may or may not be true but the creations are pretty epic. My coworker and I both ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the spaghetti grilled cheese. Spaghetti grilled cheese - worth trying once, and only once. The texture really got to me....the softness of the spaghetti was just too much for me paired with the bread. The flavors were good but you definitely need the side of tomato sauce Fried Chicken Sandwich - HHNNNGGG I still dream about this sandwich. It's a large piece of perfectly fried chicken AND mashed potatoes on a large biscuit. Honestly, I couldn't even eat the top of the biscuit because it was just so much food. The chicken is juicy, well fried and perfectly seasoned. There's a sweetish sauce that just balances the whole sandwich out. It's around $9 a sandwich and i think it's definitely worth it. I can't wait to try their other sandwiches! read more

Plenty of outdoor seating, inside was super clean. We were all really happy with our food! I wish there were more options, but we all found something we liked. I ordered the turkey sandwich with hand cut fries as a take out. They told me it should be ready within 10 minutes, but when I showed up a good 15 min later it was still not ready, then I still had to wait for no more than 10 more minutes I would say. $5 for fries that are nothing special with no toppings is a bit high. The sandwich did not have Dijon sauce inside as advertised in the menu. It had a decent amount of turkey, but I had to pay extra for Swiss cheese. The bread on the sandwich was good, but to be honest it was definitely on the dry side. I only ate half of the sandwich and a little bit of the fries which also a strong oily taste. I didn't think it was worth $16... Maybe the other stuff on the menu taste better? I don't know, i guess I'll have to find out. read more

The breakfast burritos by default come with fried "breakfast homestyle potatoes" on the side, as well as a cup of house red salsa. Sriracha/Extra Red Salsa are available by request at no charge.

So let's do a critical review of the "stress test" which cost us $23.81 for two people. The person at the podium in front took our name and my cell number to text us when ready. The line for ordering was out the door but the system paged us and said "your table is ready" so we waited in line outside the front door for 10 minutes and finally transitioned to the inside line which took another 10 minutes to order. I would say that the timing of when the system texts you needs some work. We ordered a Classic Breakfast with CRISPY bacon, home potatoes, multi-grain toast, a side of pork sausage and a cappuccino. The enclosed receipt does not accurately reflect what we ordered. The bacon was floppy and not fully cooked. The home potatoes were not done and soggy. The sausage was dry and tasted old. The cappuccino was perfect. So I would say that this Poached Kitchen location, compared to our prior experience of things done perfectly, failed the "stress test" - when tables and lines were full, it could not deliver it's normal well-prepared meals. They also failed to check back at the table which is a standard service item they have observed for many months. Of course new people still in training can account for alot of this kind of experience. We detected new people we had not seen before. We generally consider management accountable for ensuring that new employees are properly trained. We have not seen the food preparation break down before. This was a first but then we've never seen this many people lined up waiting for tables. Of course all kinds of things go on simultaneously that stress the system.... to go orders from online sources, people trying to box their leftovers, etc. Poached has a whole team of people who just worry about clearing tables, setting up tables with water, etc. This of course allows higher turnover and better utilization along with better customer service. Our takeaway today is: don't come to poached kitchen when it's packed....come earlier before 8am. and notice they serve lunch as well.

The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was definitely the standout. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and had the perfect spicy kick without being overwhelming. It paired really well with the fries, especially with the aioli sauce, which I would definitely recommend getting. The soft scrambled egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich was simple, but really comforting and satisfying. The eggs were soft and fluffy, and the cheddar added a nice richness. For the mango weekly special soufflé pancake, the pancake itself was super fluffy and soft, but the mango didn't taste the freshest and didn't pair as well with the pancake as I expected. This place is a gem. I ordered to-go breakfast as soon as they open. I ordered 3 soufflé pancakes - one each from their menu, 2 Vietnamese coffees. Both pancakes and coffees are yummy, although coffee is a little bit on the sweeter and stronger side, if your not used to Vietnamese coffee, this might be too strong for you. Anyway, I had to make a couple changes on my phone order, they made the changes without a fuss even on a busy Saturday morning. As soon as I walked in to pick up food, one staff member welcomed me with a smile and got my order right away. They have a great team and seem to be working together very well, everyone was so nice, again, considering a busy Saturday morning. They're handling the flow very well. Buttermilk chicken biscuit is the way to go!! This isn't any biscuit from KFC! The biscuit is good and buttery...has the density that you would expect from a biscuit but much more moist and chewy and is baked to that crunchy golden brown that we all love ! The chicken is fried to perfection and the honey sriracha on top is the best addition. The mashed potatoes are okay.. good but it's a thin layer that you almost forget it's there. I had to minus one star bc their "free drink check in" ONLY applies to soda (did not see that stated on Yelp) However... pay the extra .50 and get that sweet tea (with strawberry purée)! Burnt Crumbs in Irvine was a great experience overall! The food was excellent, and the service was awesome. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience. The food itself was delicious and felt very well made. Prices are a little on the expensive side, so this isn't necessarily the cheapest casual meal around, but I thought the quality made it worth the extra cost. One thing to keep in mind is that indoor seating is fairly limited. Depending on when you visit, finding a table could potentially be a challenge. Thankfully, there is outdoor seating available as well, which is a nice option, especially with Southern California weather. Overall, great food and fantastic service. When you walk in, you order right away and then find a seat. The place is super cute and has a cozy vibe, though it's on the smaller side. They've got a lot of outdoor seating, which is a nice option if the weather's good. The girl at the register seemed a bit rushed, so we felt a bit flustered while placing our order. The line was long to order but it was worth it! We came here for breakfast/lunch. First of all the people that work here are so lovely. Like genuinely cared about me and what I needed. I really felt like they treated me like an old friend. I had the avocado toast with bacon and ricotta. The sourdough wheat bread was very flavorful. My son had the souffle pancakes with mixed berry compote with a side of eggs and bacon. We also had the fried chicken biscuit sandwich which was legit. Crispy chicken, fresh huge biscuit. It's an order and sit down place. Basically no indoor seating. People were waiting for other people to get up from shaded seats. You order and pay at the counter first, then find a table, so there's not really traditional table service. The staff was friendly, but since everything is self-order, I wouldn't judge it based on service alone. Also, be prepared for a line, especially on weekends. The food here is good, but not mind-blowing. It's solid, though, so you really can't complain. The biggest downside is the lack of indoor seating, so be prepared to sit outside unless you're lucky. As for the coffee, it's not really my thing -- I usually head to the Starbucks just down the street for my caffeine fix. The food can be a bit on the dry side, so definitely make use of the salsas to help add some flavor. Portion sizes are decent, though. One thing to note is the service -- it's pretty minimal. The food was great with a quick turnaround after ordering. The omelette was soft and packed with toppings, and the pancakes were perfectly fluffy. However, the experience ended on a sour note. A staff member rudely asked us to clear our own plates, even though no other table was asked to do this. This resulted in my spouse spilling liquids all over her bag. It was disappointing to see such poor customer service, which really dampened the overall experience. I came here looking for those famous souffle pancakes! The place was pretty busy even for a weekday morning, but I found that I was able to get seated pretty quickly. I was one of those annoying people who brought their laptops to work, but even then nobody really rushed me or gave me any attitude. There's tons of seating outside too, and I saw that lots of people liked sitting there as well. The food itself was pretty good! The portions honestly weren't very big, so I felt like it was a little expensive, but if you're in the area and want brunch, it's not a bad pick! As my family and I entered Burnt Crumbs, we were warmly greeted by the cashier, setting a cheerful tone for our meal. The customer service was exceptional! We enjoyed two towering Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes, Avocado Toast, Breakfast Sausage, scrambled eggs, and crispy Home Fried Potatoes. I had been wanting to try this place since it opened up and it definitely did not disappoint! I got the infamous spaghetti grilled cheese and my friend got the meatball sandwich (in which we both ended up sharing half of our sandwiches with each other). We also got fries to share. Tbh, the sandwiches themselves were pretty filling. We probably could've gone without the fries. Haha. The spaghetti sandwich was decadently good, but I think I liked the meatball one better. I recently tried the carne asada salad at this place, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. The star of the show, though, was the amazing waitress, Cesiah. Her service was outstanding - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Cesiah made the dining experience even more enjoyable by recommending the best selling salad and removing any ingredients I am allergic to! Breakfast has always felt somewhat predictable to me eggs, pancakes, French toast, maybe some potatoes and even the higher-end brunch establishments, while they may use more refined ingredients, sometimes only manage to give the classics a slight edge over your run-of-the-mill breakfast joint. Then I experienced Santa Ana Brunch Club. When I say this was the best breakfast I have ever had, that is honestly an understatement. And yes, that comes with one very important disclaimer: no seafood* I'm allergic. Everything was phenomenal. And I mean everything. Most restaurants treat eggs like a supporting character a side dish, a filler, something added to make the plate appear more substantial. Santa Ana Brunch Club clearly sees them differently. The scrambled eggs were impossibly fluffy, beautifully seasoned, and carried an original flavor profile that was immediately distinguishable from any other eggs I've encountered. They weren't there to fill space; they were part of the composition. Now, what did I order? Bubbies Fried Chicken n Pancakes substituted with French toast. And this French toast... It looked like something pulled directly from the pages of a culinary magazine or lifted from a beautifully produced food television show. It was almost so visually perfect that I felt like I shouldn't touch it. But once I did, the presentation became secondary because the flavor was even more impressive. I have never considered myself a French toast person. Most of the time, it simply isn't executed properly, so I've always gravitated toward pancakes because, well... it's pretty difficult to completely mess up a pancake. Santa Ana Brunch Club changed that. This was easily the best French toast I have ever encountered. Rich without becoming heavy. Sweet without crossing into excessive sweetness. There was a progression to every bite texture, sweetness, richness, warmth and somehow it continued getting better as I worked my way through the plate. Then came the fried chicken. The result was essentially an elevated interpretation of the chicken and waffle concept, except this felt like it had been taken into an entirely different culinary universe. This wasn't simply breakfast. It was a redefinition of breakfast. The kind of dish that makes you reconsider an entire category of food you thought you already understood. And then there were the drinks. The Berry Bloom is one of those drinks that makes you stop after the first sip and think, why isn't this bottled and sold everywhere? It's an incredibly well-balanced spritz bright, refreshing, fruit-forward without becoming overly sweet, and composed in a way that makes it feel effortless. This is something I could genuinely see becoming a nationwide bottled sensation. The White Rum Vanilla Bean Latte takes a completely different approach. Instead of burying the coffee underneath syrups, sugar, and a mountain of additives, it allows the actual coffee to remain the star. The vanilla bean and rum notes complement rather than overpower, creating a latte that feels intentional rather than disguised. That, more than anything, seems to define Santa Ana Brunch Club.
