A weekly pick up from here consist of the Bushfire Burgers their sweet potato fries and the strawberry salad with chicken or salmon now that they do not have the burrata salad any longer. If there's ever a problem I do a survey and they're pretty good about changing things up like I used to get the strawberry salad which was pretty much all spinach and very little toppings and the last one that I got had a lot more toppings and cheese on it more nuts more cranberries which made the salad perfectly balanced. I do miss the burrata salad because that was fantastic. I did have a chicken sandwich and I didn't like the bread on the sandwiches because I just felt that it's too thick and too hard but the bread for the burgers is soft and great. So I would say probably 95% of the time everything's fantastic and every once in awhile I'll get a little bit of a dry Burger or something is a little off but most of the time everything is on point. The service is wonderful and everyone has always been extremely friendly and helpful they have such a great staff. They will continue to be a weekly staple for pickup. read more

It's a KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK place to eat! The food is outstanding! If you don't get there early, prepare to wait. They do an incredible delivery service for lunches and catering all over Del Mar! There is inside and outside seating. You seat yourself and get to ordering. Look up the menu on line. Their prices are so very reasonable! I can't believe their whole foods and real foods are cheaper than fast food outlets. It takes just a bit to get your food, because it's made especially for you! The service is amazing and the Bushfire team is very accommodating. It's also so helpful that they have plenty of seating for our team with options to set inside or on the patio. I don't like leaving negative reviews but when you pay nearly 20.00 for a burger it should be correct. I ordered online since they don't do phone orders and it's clearly noted medium well and no cheese. I received a text saying my order is ready and I go to the pick up place and there is only one bag with a different name on it. I ask if mine is ready since I was texted and the guy at the counter was so rude and said I must have ordered from a different location. Then they realize they put the wrong name on the bag and the bag on the counter is mine. When I got to the hotel I opened the food and The burger is medium and has melted cheese all over it. Which I can't eat. I should have checked the bag before I left and drove 15 min back to my hotel. read more

Sorry Boston market, there's a time and occasion for you. Anyways, parking was plentiful, indoor/outdoor seating, bar area, tv's and overall a great casual place to dine. Now for the food... yum?!? We had a beef empanada to try out which had a great flaky crust, but the filling can have a little more seasoning. A brisket bowl which was perfect, the meat was super tender, flavorful and moist. We also ordered a chicken and rib combo with a side of Mac n cheese. Okay, the Mac n cheese was to die for. The chicken was roasted and fell off the bone, same as the ribs. When we have guest over, many times we bring home peri peri chicken, scrumptious ribs, grilled veggies, mashed potatoes, empanada and more. Every one of our guest has loved the food! Wow. I loved everything we ordered. Veggie burger was so good. Fresh bun with the party and grilled zucchini added so much flavor. Tri tip sandwich was amazing too. Mediocre comfort food. All the food had a similar mushy consistency after sitting under heat lamps for awhile. The steak was disappointing - cut into small cubes less than a cubic centimeter. The brisket was ok- with mashed potatoes and roasted veg. With a little effort you can do this yourself at home for far less. Neither son ate even half of their $20 dishes and they love steak and potato. Sweet potatoes were not "fries" like some reviewers said they were. Disappointing. Mostly the boys just drank up the soda and free refills. Would not return unless desperate. read more

Last time I ordered online for immediate pickup and got there 20 mins later and waited 45 mins for a bowl where all of the food was already cooked and just needed to be put in a bowl. read more

Bushfire used to be so great. This location has messed up my to go order several times now, recently they forgot a side salad, they didn't add the extra chicken I paid for, they gave us the wrong sauce, and I don't know if they changed the focaccia bread recipe but the last one was an eggy nightmare that had no herbs on top and tasted terrible. The portions continue to shrink and the ingredients get cheaper. This used to be an awesome spot for really good and high quality food but there is a severe lack of care now. When we walked in, 3 or 4 employees were just standing around. I get orders being messed up because they're slammed but they were clearly chilling. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. read more

This was a last minute stop for a quick dinner on our way back to our Airbnb (so we weren't expecting much) but what we got was some of the best food we had on our entire road trip! Normally I'd order a brisket bowl (big fan of brisket) but when I asked what the most popular bowl was...the server didn't even hesitate to say Tri-Tip. So Tri-Tip it was! And my mom ordered the En Fuego burger with regular fries. The Tri-Tip Bowl was HANDS-DOWN the BEST Tri-Tip I have ever eaten in my life. Maybe I've just always had horribly cooked tri-tip but I've never been a fan...until now! Wow, that single meal completely changed my opinion on tri-tip it was so good. My mom and I split the burger and that was fantastic as well. The fries were really good even though they weren't the normal sweet potato fries that come with the burger.
