I ordered online a tri tip plate for pick up my time estimated was 6-13 mins and I got a message in 1 saying it was ready. It took my another 6 to get there and 6 to get home and my food was cold. I was out in California visiting family and friends last week and one day Me and my friend were just hanging out and decided to look for somewhere to eat, I saw this place show up on Yelp and I I'm a big fan of good burgers and truffle fries so we decided to give it a shot. Well I was surprised at how small the place was when we arrived but as soon as we walked in you could smell the burgers on the char boiler and that is always a welcome smell, it's a walk up and order concept with no servers which is not my preference but there was no line and the food came out fast. They have craft sodas on their soda machine including interesting ones such as pineapple cream soda and Agave vanilla cream soda which were both delicious ultimately I mixed a vanilla cream soda with the craft root beer yummy! One thing I always like is when a Burger place asks you how you want your Burger cooked cause I am not a fan of an overcooked Burger, I asked for mine medium rare and unfortunately it was a little overly rare but still had a good char on the outside and a good flavor, overall I was not disappointed with this place at all and if I happened to be back around in town I'll probably Stop by for a good Burger read more

Bushfire is a very legit foodie stop in Menifee. We have been here now over a dozen times since moving to the area. The only downer, is when they're out of some of their delicious Empanadas. Bushfire char-grills their foods, so everything has that bbq taste. Delicious. We've tried almost everything on the Menu. Their burgers are fat and juicy. Their Tri-Tip sandwich is fantastic. This review is from a LONG time customer! I have been eating at Bushfire starting in Temecula for at least 10 years I remember when it opened and having a great excuse to go to Trader Joe's after eating. I've always loved the flavors, quality, options and friendly faces that greet you. The Temecula location has a very cool layout, that works for the type of dining experience they offer. It's a shame the Menifee one couldn't have incorporated more of those aspects in to the layout. Anyway, I've always loved ordering the 4 item side/platter that is perfect for when I can't decide on just one side and don't really want a meat dish. I always brag about this option at other small restaurants and tell them how cool you can just eat sides for a meal! Well apparently it's no longer an option at their restaurants, after being told by the new manager at the Menifee location that "has been there a whole 4 weeks...wow" that he's never heard of it....okay kid, I've been eating it for like a decade ‍ so whatever. Our food was brought out wrong, cold and undercooked. Nothing impressed me or was at their normal standards other than the strawberry salad...that was as it has always been and so tasty. So after getting the food issues fixed, we *myself, 2 year old and 4 year old* started eating. About 10 minutes in to eating, my daughter had to use the restroom. All 3 of us had to go as I couldn't leave the baby at the table alone. So I told not one but TWO girls working there ^the cashier and the food runner^ that we were using the restroom, so not to throw our food away.....well guess what happened? In the not even 2 minutes we were using the restroom they cleared our ENTIRE TABLE of full plates of food. I walked out of the bathroom with the kids and about started crying, I thought I was being punked. The food runner had a smile on her face and more or less laughed about it. The "manger" younger tall kid curly long hair, offered no remedy so I asked for our money back. My kids and I were both stupefied and couldn't believe the bad luck. After having already been poorly treated by the manager and staff, I suppose it was on par for the meal. I've never experienced anything like this at your restaurant! It was a shock! My first time ever trying brussel sprouts was at Bushfire. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the brussel sprouts but they are good. More times than not when I go to Bushfire Kitchen I get the En Fuego burger. I have a hard time resisting a char grilled burger. This burger has double smoked sweet and spicy millionaire's bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, pickled red onions, lettuce and housemade jalapeño aioli. I usually nix the pickled onions and this burger is delicious! Only once did they get my order wrong and they did well to make it right. Bushfire Kitchen is always my go-to for great tasting burgers and sandwiches. The peri-peri chicken burger is also delicious, and don't forget to grab an empanada on your way out. Such a great change from the other food in Menifee. The ingredients are quality and it's evident. My go too is the tri tip bowl with mixed veggies and garlic mashed potatoes with the chimmichurri. The chimmichurri here is my favorite ANYWHERE. The burgers are pricey, considering you don't get any sides with them. But it's like $4 for a pretty big helping of fries, so that's okay. The side salad for $4.50 is pretty sad as far as size goes. But again, quality ingredients and the food tastes good! read more

I got a bowl to go. I usually don't tip if the person helping didn't go above or beyond to help or if I'm taking it to go because they don't have to bring it to me. However, their topping machine does not allow you to not give a tip. I pressed no tip and kept trying to press confirm and the worker was just watching it not work and saying nothing. Then I pressed custom tip, left it at 0.00 and then the confirm button worked. Hm. Fishy. Then when I brought my bowl home, there was barely any meat in it. I try to come eat here whenever I am in town because it's so good. After this experience though, I'm not supporting. I'll try temecula, but definitely not Menifee location again. Went for the first time today. Me and my husband were excited to try something new. His burger was supposed to be medium it came out well. I usually get well never had a problem before anywhere else. The burger was extra well and tasted like a burnt burger. I went up to ask if that is the way it is supposed to be and who I think was the manager asked did you want it well done. I said yes but this burger is dry and all I taste is burnt burger. She said that is how is is supposed to taste so if that's true we won't be returning. Great food! Sweet potato fries are a must. This is my go to place whenever I'm in town and it never fails.

The food - a good variety and selection for everyone. You can't go wrong with any pairing on any of the sides they have. The serving size is more than enough, we always leave with a "to-go" box. The plate is nicely prepared as you see in the picture, they also give you extra dipping sauces upon request at no charge but there's plenty that you won't need it. The veggies are very good, properly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The meat... it is the way I like it done. You can ask to make it well if you want and they make it to your liking. The salmon is also really good and moist. It's topped off with some king of tomato based with spices that goes well with the fish. It's delicious. Now the bread and the dipping sauce... soooo good. Breaks my low carb diet all the time, irresistible! The service - the crew behind the counter all work as fast and efficient as possible, expect a little delay when it's a full house, it's expected and that's the nature of the business. All the workers are polite and smiling all the time. Ambiance - the place is setup nicely both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor are on a nice weather is very pleasant. I ordered a brisket bowl with brown rice and veggies, I got my mom the salmon bowl with the same base and side. They forgot about the sweet potato fries and came back out with it 20 mins later. It was an aright experience here. Nice staff members. They ran out of something my sister wanted. I think they improvised the order for her. The wait for food was over 30 minutes. It did not look busy, but I did see that they were short staffed. Everything they made was fresh I like the hibiscus lavender lemonade. Their drinks are refillable like self serve. I ordered for pick up. They can't take pick up orders over the phone, so I had to do it online. Kind of annoying. We wanted to make alterations to our order and would have much preferred to verbally do that with a human, especially it being my first time ordering food from this restaurant. They have a lot of vegan options and I appreciate that their menu labels both vegan and vegetarian options. (A lot of places only label vegetarian) I got the mixed vegetables plate & my husband got the BBQ tri-tip sandwich. With the mixed vegetables plate you pick two sides, I chose the baked sweet potatoes & paid an extra $1.25 for the quinoa & power greens salad. The mixed vegetables had great flame-grilled flavor but was mostly bell peppers. I was hoping for more of a variety of vegetables; it was pretty much all bell pepper. The carrots were not cooked long enough in my opinion- they were still crunchy. But again, the flavor was 10/10. Upon ordering I was thinking a side of hummus or some sort of sauce was needed, but the veggies had such a great flavor that no sauce was necessary at all. The baked sweet potatoes were heavily seasoned, a little too peppery for my liking but otherwise they were good. The quinoa & power greens salad had great flavor that kind of reminded me of a sweet & salty Mexican candy I used to enjoy as a child. I was not expecting such flavor in the salad but it was unique and bold. If going for health with the salad though I'd definitely pour lightly on the dressing, because it seems to have a decent amount of salt to it. The focaccia bread was absolutely incredible- very fluffy and soft, especially for a vegan bread. Their scallion sauce was delicious as well. For my husband's tri-tip sandwich he requested to substitute the BBQ sauce with their chimichurri sauce. He also requested no cheese and no onions. They got all the alterations correct, even though we ordered online. His sandwich looked delicious to me. Meat looked a bit thickly cut, I think thinly cut tri-tip is more appealing. He said the bread and sauce were amazing and while the meat was not the freshest it was good too. He felt the meat cut more thinly would have been less tough to chew through and thus fresher feeling. Overall he was satisfied and said he would eat here again. He has tried the tri-tip chimichurri sandwich on focaccia bread at Urbane Cafe and was not half as satisfied. Although the Urbane chimichurri tri-tip does have thinner cut, fresher tasting meat, the bread and sauce are drastically better from Bushfire. It's a similar price range, nearby location, and and the same ingredients but overall a better sandwich at Bushfire Kitchen, in his opinion. read more
