No greetings, told server that it first time but got no response or reaction. Food was cold on arrival. Was highly disappointed

My meal was the only disappointing one I've had at a Bushfire. We've been going to the Temecula location for years and everything is always delicious. The Menifee Bushfire needs some serious re-training in the kitchen on how to prepare certain items so they are up to standard. Our first time eating here was today, 6/11/25 and I ordered the "Garlic lemon chicken pita wrap." First thing I noticed was the pita bread was dry and crumbly so holding it was impossible without it falling apart. Biggest "No-no" was the chicken had no garlic or lemon flavor...at all. This sandwich was crying out for some kind of sauce but sadly there was none. I guess there's a first time for everything and this is the first time I've had boring, tasteless food at Bushfire. We'll be sticking with the Temecula location from now on. read more

Dont go on Sundays! I dont write poor reviews lightly. Especially with this establishment. I love going to Bushfire. Just no longer on Sunday's. Food quality is always good. Its service that makes the entire experience horrible. Im not certain who is managing on Sundays but my friend and I stopped in twice this past month and received horrible service. Most of it from one sersver. The first weekend we were over charged and while I was addressing it with the cashier my friend was trying to get her food served We had been waiting over 30 minutes. When the girl finally served it she glared at us then walked over to the outdoor wall and watched the singer and her guitarist. She paid no attention to the crowded outdoor patio. No service without someone asking. And then acting angry that she had to do her job. This past weekend we tried again on a Sunday and there she was. Paying no attention to customers, rather she was on her phone with her back to the patio. This woman is not a good look for this establishment and clearly management is not paying attention. read more

I've had the tri-tip before and the curry chicken bowl and both have been absolutely amazing I always order ahead so I can just run in and pick it up and it's always ready super quickly. I don't ever eat inside but when I run to get my food, it always looks very clean. Trying to eat really healthy and clean and being able to pick this up in a pinch really helps. read more

You place an order and then find a table. I thought it was on the expensive side. However the music was extremely loud even at the outside tables. We asked if they could turn it down and they did not. It took an overly long time to bring our food. Our food was pretty good but not exceptional. As a senior with hearing issues I would not go there again due to the intolerable loudness. read more

Stopped by unexpectedly to try this place since they will be opening one in Riverside soon. The ambiance is pretty neat...i would describe intimate western or barn feel. There was seating inside and outside where there were misters and a bar. There was a nice variation of food. But when we were ordering the cashier couldn't hear us and I layer realized the grill was right behind her. It was frustrating and I wish she would've said something versus asking us to repeat things over and over. The counter set up is also not conducive and didn't allow us to get closer to her. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and loved it. My mom ordered a spinach strawberry salad and she also added chicken, and she ate all of hers as well. We both agreed that the chicken had great flavor and tasted fresh. My husband ordered a bowl with salmon, brown rice and vegetables. Now he's a picky eater and really enjoyed his food. I had a taste of his rice and vegetables - those roasted veggies were delish! Now my only other concern was that my husband needed a spoon to eat his rice because of a disability he has and we were told they didn't have any (strange for a restaurant), but instead was given a plastic to go set which had a spoon in it. Overall, I'm looking forward to trying the location in Riverside when it opens. read more

I copied this review because it pretty much summarized our experience today 9/925 at 11:30am. My veggie burger was cold, the side of veggies were cold, my husband's chicken bowl was dry and tough. We waited over 1/2 hours for our food and we were the first customers of the day. I went in to ask what happened the young girl just rolled her eyes, she didn't say anything. A just right sized beer & wine menu here with a great mix of different craft beers and some local wines, and don't forget about the sangria! Or have some of the Stubborn craft soda! I'll start with how AMAZING the sweet potato fries are here... The french fries are GREAT too, but my GAWD I could just sit here and eat the SPF's and take a nap in a carb coma and be happy. Everything we've had here is just grubbin' too, but I can definitely say hard pass on the weird chipotle sauce. Plenty of indoor seating and the outside patio is perfect to relax and enjoy the just right warm evenings in Menifee. The parking here sucks if you try to get in real close, so save yourself the headache and park in the main parking lot out towards Ulta/Tilly's/HomeGoods and walk the extra 400'. You'll need it after you get stuffed at Bushfire. 8/10 will definitely come back here again. read more

One word to describe Bushfire Kitchen would be pretentious. Went there years ago and was thoroughly underwhelmed but somehow ended up there again today. It fancifies itself to be a gourmet eatery by serving seasoned mayonnaise with their fries while serving below room temperature hamburgers. I told the waitress my hamburger was cold. Bushfire went up dramatically in the last couple of years and they started taking away little things like bread. Now you have to pay for it. There's never any coupons or discounts. Haven't been to Bushfire Kitchen in a while. Received an email for a kids eat free day and decided to have dinner. Ordered my go to Thai chicken curry, the wife ordered the BBQ tri tip sandwich and my grandson ordered the noodles with butter and cheese. Flavor on my curry bowl was good however it seems like a lot less chicken than I remember. The BBQ tri tip sandwich was just sad. A couple of small slices of tri tip. My grandsons pasta with butter portion was so small he ate again when we got home. I realize restaurants are cutting back however, I believe a slight price increase is always better than putting less meat or downsizing a particular dish. Will not be returning. read more

Well, the food is average when it actually comes. They brought my wife's and my son's food 35 minutes before mine. I got mine cold and late well after they were done eating. It was as if they forgot to bring it out. However the staff is very friendly and professional. I decided not to eat the meal instead opting for a refund of the plate in question. Please don't let this personal experience sway anyone from being patrons of this business. My family and I eat out usually 2 or 3 times a week and my hard earned dollars are not something I like to waste on a bad experience. I'm not much of a soda drinker, but I do appreciate their variety of stubborn sodas on tap. They always have a few desserts and some excellent empanadas as well. Highly recommend the surf and turf plate. I'm a huge fan of salmon and this one was perfectly cooked. I've been here multiple times since they opened and I have noticed portions have increased which makes me happy. I ordered online a tri tip plate for pick up my time estimated was 6-13 mins and I got a message in 1 saying it was ready. It took my another 6 to get there and 6 to get home and my food was cold. I have tried the empanadas and the gaucho steak sandwich as well which were both fantastic I love the chimichurri.
