Did a great job, father and Son. They sent a video of where the hive was while they were on my roof with all the bees and what was planned before anything was done and then gave me a price. Honest and dependable. Would tell all my neighbors and friends how wonderful they are. So glad I found this Son and Father team. Even left me the honeycomb, very very fair prices. Thank you

Stole the honey. He sais he has 4000 jars of honey at his house, doesnt need mine

I hired this guy to remove a bee colony with very clear instructions: leave the honey. Instead, he took everything -- the honey, the bees -- and dumped a deadout box of debris back at my property like it was trash. No explanation, no accountability. To top it off, he tried to charge nearly $3,000 for half a day of work. No honey, no respect. The whole thing felt like a setup -- and he runs this with his sister, who clearly knew what was happening. I've spoken to several local beekeepers and bee removal experts since, and all agreed: This guy is running a bait-and-switch scam. He profits by taking your bees, keeping the honey, and then charging you on top -- while reselling both under the table. Dishonest, overpriced, and unethical. I wouldn't trust him near your property or your bees. Save yourself the regret and hire someone reputable..

    Bee Hive

This family-owned business was awesome! I contacted another bee business and they flaked on me, but busy bee followed up with me immediately and was so very punctual. Fernando and his sister were so very professional during the whole process and answered all my questions about the hive and the removal. They were very open and honest with the removal and the pricing was very fair! I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I wish all service companies were as excellent as this family owned business! Fernando immediately responded to my inquiry of removing a bee hive in my front yard tree. He arrived the next day with his father and safely relocated the bee hive and its queen. I was relieved there were no more bees in sight the following morning near my property (I was very concerned about my 6 month old being stung when going on walks). The cost was also very reasonable for a hive located almost 12 feet high above the street. I give Busy Bee Removal a 10/10 on all aspects of service!

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent customer service and communication! I contacted the company through Yelp to get a quote for a bee hive removal. Fernando responded promptly and answered any questions I had. It was easy to set up an appointment and they came out promptly! COMPLETION OF JOB: There were two hives that needed to be removed. Fernando and his team used a thermal camera to locate the hives to see how big they were. They removed the hives and sealed the areas so bees would not return. They do not repair or paint. Fernando anticipated having to cut out a piece of the plywood/roof, and it was possible that a hole would be left behind, which would have to be patched by someone else. However, his team cut and was able to replace the plywood and seal it. CLEANLINESS: The team arrived and prepped the area. After completion, the team swept and washed the area. I saw some residue honey/liquid and contacted Fernando and he sent a team member the same day to clean it! PROFESSIONALISM: Fernando was prompt, polite, and provided me with his business license and liability insurance when requested (required for HOA to approve vendors). I highly recommend Busy Bee Removal and would contact them again if needed!

    First wasp hive/nest we found.

On a Saturday afternoon, we noticed what we thought may be a bee hive under the eaves of our roof at the front of the house. But in looking at it closely and trying to tap it with a long stick, it looked like a wasp nest. After calling a few places, we connected with Fernando. He asked the size of the hive/nest, which was about the size of an orange. He was straight forward on the call on pricing: $150 for the first removal and said they'll usually be more around the house and they'll do a visual inspection. For each additional they find, it'll be $25. He managed to get a technician out within an hour, as they were finishing up another job. The technician sprayed foam and scraped off the hive/nest. Then he walked around the entire perimeter of the house checking for more. And sure enough, there was another hive/nest being formed on the other side of the house and a smaller one at the very inner top of our garage roof eaves. The technician got a ladder and got rid of both. The technician also said to keep an eye out if we see 4-5 wasps flying around and to call them. They'll do a follow up service, complimentary. He also recommended to do visual checks and if caught early enough and small enough, hosing it down can get rid of it. Grateful for the quick response and honest pricing.

    Samuel vacuuming our bees
    Aprille C.

I had a bee swarm in my yard. They were in a bush for a whole week. I got a quote online from Fernando. He sent Samuel in about 1 1/2 hrs. Samuel vacuumed up the bees to relocate them in about 45 min and answered my barrage of questions. Since it was in a bush, he cut off a few branches to take the pheromones with him. My plant doesn't even miss the branches. Excellent fast work. Thank goodness they didn't move into the chimney or somewhere on our house. Thanks Busy Bee Removal!

I'd like to update my review since my first stellar review was for the initial estimate process…read moreonly and I said I would update (but forgot). It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. Highly recommend and I'm glad to see that the reviews continue to be outstanding since the one I gave 5 years ago!

ONE STAR FOR SHOWING UP ON TIME. ZERO STARS FOR EVERYTHING THAT MATTERED…read more I hired Rodent Masters because I have documented ongoing rat activity around my private patio at my apartment for approximately a year. I have five security cameras recording the activity, including rats repeatedly on the ground in my private patio where my small dog walks and sniffs. I explained the situation to Max in detail, including how distressed I was, and told him I was prepared to pay for an exterminator's help myself. At their request, I obtained my landlord's permission for them to perform the work. The day before the appointment, I went even further: I sent Max a five-page presentation with photographs and a diagram of my property, identifying suspected burrows, storage areas with rat activity/droppings, openings I wanted sealed, the water-heater closet, planters/root systems and other possible nesting and entry locations. I also explained that I have a small dog and wanted safe, enclosed trapping options. I specifically asked whether they could perform the work the same day if possible. The technician arrived on time, but the inspection I expected simply did not happen. He focused on whether rats might be inside my apartment even though I had reported an outdoor problem. When I asked whether he had seen my presentation, he told me it was "at the office." He did not open and inspect the storage cupboards where I had reported rat activity and droppings. He did not investigate the suspected burrows. He did not seal any openings. He looked directly at an opening into one of my storage areas and did nothing about it. Most incredibly, while standing on my patio he explained that rats like protected areas around water heaters, yet he never even opened the doors to inspect the two water heaters I had specifically identified in my presentation. After all of this, the primary recommendation I received was to buy mountain lion or fox urine and spray it myself. After I complained, Max initially told me in writing that he was "very confused" because he had forwarded my list to the technician and explained the situation to him. He later said they were trying to "save me money" and the technician did not want to take my money "by just setting traps." That explanation makes no sense. This was supposed to be a free estimate. I never told anyone I was on a budget. I had specifically asked whether they could do the work that same day and was prepared to pay. Nobody even gave me an estimate or presented treatment options and allowed me to decide what I wanted to spend. Max also brought up my doggie door afterward. I did not tell Max about a doggie door the day before. I mentioned it casually to the technician while we were already standing on my patio. I never reported rats inside my apartment. He insisted on coming in and looking under my sink and told me I had no evidence of rat existence. My complaint is simple: I hired a rodent professional to investigate documented rat activity, identify nesting/entry areas, recommend appropriate trapping and exclusion, and give me an estimate. Instead, the specific areas I identified were not meaningfully investigated, no holes were sealed, I received no estimate, and I was essentially told to buy predator urine. Had Max simply told me after receiving my five-page presentation that this wasn't the type of work they were going to perform, I would have thanked him and continued looking for another company. Instead, I stopped searching because I believed help was coming the next morning. That lost time matters when you are already dealing with an ongoing problem. I also let Max know how traumatized I was by these rats and how I wasn't sleeping at night. He seemed so empathetic and told me not to worry. Why pretend you want to help and then lie about our initial conversation. P.S. I saw another reviewer say someone from this company arrived in an unmarked white van, which the company disputed in its response. The technician who came to my home also arrived in an unmarked white van, and I have the security-camera footage showing it.
