I had the worst luck with finding a trustworthy auto mechanic until my husband started bringing our cars to Carlos about 3 years ago. 3 years later and they still have my trust. This is by far the most honest shop I have encountered in Las Vegas and I've brought my cars to many over the years I've been in Las Vegas. They won't tell you, you need 10 things repaired for your car today, when you just bring your car for an oil change. They go above and beyond by telling you things that could be fixed but explain the most immediate first and that you should be ok with waiting for x amount of miles until a certain repair will become imminent. They will tell you, your car does not need jobs whatsoever when the smog shop (they don't do smogs here ) tells you you need all these jobs. But words, alone aren't convincing for me. That is why it took three years for me to write my review. My cars have only had the normal wear and tear issues since bringing them here. They are running extremely well and I can sleep at night knowing that my vehicles are in the best hands because they thoroughly inspect them and provide honest straightforward advice for what needs to be done or repaired for your cars at a fair price. Went here to get A/C service done on my 2003 Toyota Tundra. Spoke to Carlos who was courteous, professional and friendly. He explained to me the low end to high end pricing and detailed procedures. So we yelped and sent a message for a quote on a break repair for a Cadillac Escalade, and Carlos got right back to us in a timely manner. When I got it in the shop the next morning, they were ready for me at 7 AM prompt and pleasant. We are in Vegas on a road trip from CA when our car started making weird noises. We went to Busy buggy and Carlos was really helpful. They were able to accommodate our walk in appointment and diagnose the problem. The estimate was very reasonably priced as well. When we decided to just go home for the repairs since the issue was not urgent, he didn't pressure us or try to upsell anything. I had taken my car to a couple of other mechanics, and mentioned my car would shake whenever I applied the brakes coming off the expressway; they basically didn't want to be bothered with a low-priced job and told me there was "nothing wrong," and to make sure I had the "clutch in all the way." (I've been driving a clutch since 15 - I know how they work) The problem only got worse, and I finally went to Busy Buggy. I know for a fact that they took my car out on a test drive, because my husband and I were running errands in our other car and happened to spot them coming off the 215 at Buffalo! So I knew they were thorough in their diagnostic testing. As it turned out, my rear brakes were on the verge of practically falling off! LADIES or ANYONE at that, do NOT trust taking your car to this business! I had my Jeep Compass towed TELLING THEM what was wrong with my car, which was the Fuel system, they tried taking advantage of the fact that I'm a female thinking I did not have anyone in my corner who knew about cars, they called wanting to charge me $1200 for a PCM computer that had nothing to do with the problem or why I even had my car towed there. I knew something wasn't right I had people in my corner telling me that wasn't right the problems I was having with my car did not match up with what they were trying to charge me with . A day later I had my car checked out by another highly professional and trustworthy mechanic that told me and showed me all the scan results on my vehicle, not one failure showed up about any PCM computer problem. Of course like I knew from the beginning there was one failure he showed me and it was exactly what I knew it was, the FUEL SYSTEM it turned out all I needed to do was change my air filter and oxygen sensor and my car was running fine, $120 total for changing that out & my car started right and was running smooth. Originally Eddie told me he will do a diagnostic on my vehicle and waive the $50 price if I were to get my vehicle fixed at that location, if they would've done the diagnostics they would've seen the fuel system failure and the oxygen sensor code pop-up, not once did they say anything about either one of those issues but tried to charge me 1200 for a PCM computer that I had nothing wrong with it . So not only did they try to rip me off but he lied about doing a diagnostics and ended up charging me for something that wasn't even done . They were trying to take advantage of these hard times and take advantage of The fact that I'm a female and was trying to handle it on my own.(ladies if you don't know much always have a trustworthy man or anyone who knows cars by your side to call these liars out) This wasn't a new place to me or my family we have been taking our vehicles to this location for many years never had an issue, until now. A previous employee that worked there Carlos was always 100% honest and provided his best work. Now that Carlos no longer works there a new guy name Eddie is who tried to rip me off and lie About the whole situation and with how comfortable he was ripping me off it seems he's doing this to a lot of people. I explained to them I've been a loyal customer for years but that obviously didn't matter. They've lost my entire family as customers and will never go back. Took my car in for a second opinion on my rear brakes. The day before I had gone to another shop for an oil change, which is right across the street. The mechanic there had told me my rear pads only had 5-10% life left and recommended I get them replaced (149$). I did not. Busy Buggy inspected my brakes for free and told me they had 50% life left. They also caught my low tire pressure, which was something the other shop was supposed to have checked. Again, Busy Buggy did all this for free. I definitely recommend Buys Buggy II to anyone! I went there for an oil change and it was affordable and fast. The service I got was exquisite. I don't know much about cars, so typically when I take my car in for service I get taken advantage of. I asked about a tire rotation and normally other car service companies will tell me I need it when I really don't just to make money. Well this place is different. I was told that next time would be okay for a tire rotation. This place takes care of the customers rather than selling things that aren't necessary. It was later in the day and I came in for an oil change and they noticed my car was missing a caliper bolt. That's pretty crazy. They didn't have the part but went out of their way to contact one of their vendors. They stayed past the normal closing hours to wait for the part and to install it so I wouldn't go back on the road and be in danger. Very professional and friendly people. I've had a ton of problems w/ my car over the last 3 years or so and I've always come to this place to get them fixed. Every other experience I've had here has been great. Carlos was always very welcoming and did great work so I've recommended this shop to a few of my friends, but after today I wont be coming back. I didn't realize that he no longer works at this location & I was helped by a different person. This guy has an awful attitude problem and terrible customer service. I came in to see if I could get my timing belt changed and he quoted me close to $1000. Its seemed a bit high, but I have always brought my car here anytime I needed anything fixed and trust the work so I would have just payed it, but the interaction that I had with this new guy made me not want to. Luckily I didn't & decided to shop around because I had 2 other shops quote me almost $300 less than this one. He also told me I would have to leave my car overnight which I've never had to do at this shop. I would bring my car in at opening and it would be done by closing. The other shop said the job could be done within 3 hours. Soo yea won't be coming back. read more

If you love your car, don't take it here. This is the first time I've ever written a review on anything, but I felt the need to warn people. I've been here a couple times, but will never take my car here again. The first time I took my everyday truck here and things were fine. So a couple months later I decided to bring my really nice car. It was running great, but I just wanted an oil change and a simple tune up. 3 1/2 hours and $432.00 dollars later and now my car won't run. It literally died 1 mile from the shop after I left. When I called, they said to try to start it again in a couple minutes. It wouldn't start and when I called back 5 minutes later, they had closed the shop early. I had to pay $100 to tow it home. Took an extra 2 hours. The next morning when I called, they in no way wanted to take responsibility. They also dented my car when they put it up on the lift. It just got a brand new paint job. They didn't even lift it from the frame, they lifted it from the body. 4 brand new little dents. The crazy thing is that they go on and on about customer service. Being friendly and doing the right thing are very different. I'd rather take my car to someone that isn't as personable but is competent, rather than someone that is nice, but makes your car worse then when you brought it in. It's embarrassing to overpay and have your dream messed up. They are a new shop and it shows. read more
