We started off with the Camarones D' El Diablo and Tex-Mex queso that was delicious. Chips and Salsa tasted fresh and really good. For lunch we ordered the Shrimp Fajitas, 2 Shrimp Caesar Salads, and the Ancho Chicken Tacos. We were treated to the delicious Flan! Everyone loved their meal, not even one critique. Wow, so delicious, friendly and fun! The Mexican Lemonade was fantastic, tart and spicy. We loved the queso Austin Style and the Bacon Warpped Jalapeños to begin. The portions are huge and there's attention to detail even with the seasoned rice and pepita, topped black beans. We ate ourselves silly and declined desserts, however the manager brought us the most incredible Flan! I think the flan was the best I have ever had! This cactus location has a great spot in alki. The drinks and food was delicious, the service was ok... not sure if it was an off day, but definitely did not feel the love from our server. The hostess on the other hand was extremely caring and accommodating which absolutely helped our experience. It's sometimes hard but definitely recommend sitting outside when the weather is nice, but the inside is a cool spot as well. Would definitely come back if in the area and looking for Mexican. You can't go wrong with this restaurant and their other locations around Seattle read more

I always get good food at this location. I enjoyed the cilantro lime prawn fajitas. I like sitting next to the fire in the bar area in the winter and the patio in the summer both have amazing views of the water and mountains. Food is always pretty tasty, but a little overpriced but I guess comparable to other places in Seattle and you're guaranteed to get a good meal! So it is worth it for a nice chill dinner out. I love how they have no sin drinks, they are delicious and beautiful. Would recommend when on Alki! read more

We got here with 10 minutes to spare before brunch ended at 2 PM. We ordered the churro waffles and brisket cactus Benedict. The waffles were tasty but would've been even better with slightly less sugar. The Benedict was great! I absolutely loved the seasoning but I did not like the potatoes that came on the side. As far as drinks go, I don't recommend, our drinks were way too sugary and tasted artificial. Definitely not a fan of the drinks but the food was good and you can't beat the location. read more

I love Cactus on Alki! It's such a cute restaurant, for all vibes, maybe not black tie but you can be casual or dress up. It's very open and spacious. My favorite is the bar booths and outside during the summer. The main dining area is just fine as well especially if you have a larger group. My favorite dish is the camarones (shrimp) tacos! Ohhhh so delicious, the shrimp is battered then fried, then tossed in the Diablo sauce, with a mango slaw and drizzled with crema. Mmmm so good I can't help but getting it every time! Everyone I've told about the tacos try them and say they're the best "Tex Mex" shrimp tacos in the city. Sometimes I'll start with the spiced caesar salad it's always great. If you go for brunch and you have a sweet tooth, you have to try the CHURRO WAFFLES! They're fried perfectly coated in cinnamon and sugar, with a coconut whipped cream. Ooh my goodness it's so good. You don't even need syrup, the combo of the cinnamon sugar, and the coconut whipped cream is just enough. Highly recommend! They also have a plethora of juicy drinks! I love the margaritas, and mojitos! This is one of my top five favorite places on Alki! read more

They have blended margaritas now! It's a great place for dinner on the quiet end of the Alki strip.

I've eaten here twice and it was great both times. Most recently I got the ancho chicken tacos which came with beans and rice, the food was delicious and it was quite a big portion size! They've got vegetarian options as well and the seating is really fun. I love sitting on the patio or next to the window and looking out over the sound. The servers are great too! read more

There were quite a few customers today at noon on Sunday. We sat at the bar counter. First of all, I asked for chips with salsa and Guacamole. I was very happy with warm crispy chips, fresh salsa and guacamole. Yummy! I downloaded the menu and looked at the menu, I like that the menu has pictures. I was curious about the future menu, but I wanted something light, so I chose jackfruit taco from the taco menu. It also comes with mexican rice and black beans. We were looking for places to eat with a waterfront view and saw Cactus Restaurant to be popping with high energy and walked in to get one of the best Mexican foods we've had in a while ! The Pablo Soup hit just the right spots with the smokiness and spiciness of the peppers on a cold afternoon! The charred corn Quesadilla was just right with the amount of cheese not overpowering the flavor of corn. My brother in law loved his shrimp salad as well! There are beautiful views of Alki beach and the restaurant is very open and inviting! On our most recent outing to cactus, we started with the guacamole- carlitos way, which had smoked bacon and cotija cheese- absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I got the Christmas Tamales and the skirt steak nachos to share as entrees! The Nachos are one of my favorite things on the menu and I get them nearly every time, the steak is cooked to perfection! Our entrees consisted of the brisket taco and casa salad, both dishes were incredible. For dessert we ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb Shortcake, this dessert was incredible. The dish consisted of Strawberry-rhubarb salsa, pepita shortbread, vanilla habanero ice cream. We also tried to the Three Milk Cuban Flan, it was good if you enjoy flan. One of the most impressive things at this restaurant was the customer service. I eat at countless restaurants throughout the year, all over the country, and the manager during the time I visited was the best!
