I usually love zupas but this service was horrible. I ordered online at 5 and it said it would be ready by 5:20. I get there at 5:20 and there's about 5 people waiting for online orders. More and more people started to pile in waiting for their online orders while there were only a few people in line. Around 5:40 there's about 15 people waiting for their online orders. I didn't even get my order until 6:00. The manager needs to prioritize online orders and workers need to be trained on how to do online orders. Everyone seemed clueless. I should've gotten a refund. The brownie I got was tiny. My soup wasn't all the way full. I wasn't even asked if I wanted a drink while I waited 40 minutes. Moral of the story. Don't order online from here. read more

They allowed me to order the kids meal menu says $4.99 but then at the end of the make line when I'm ready to pay they tried to charge me $2 MORE because I'm an adult! Extremely Disappointed! Went to lunch with my wife and 2 of her co workers. This place was busy but I don't know why! 1) the clam chowder was ice cold. Terrible 2) it was runny and had no texture to it! Terrible 3) no clams in the chowder! Terrible For a Soup Store this is unacceptable!!!! The sandwich was on upraised bread ? Maybe this a is trendy flat sandwich.... but I felt it needed something more than flat bread! Just ordered delivery for steak and cheese! It wasn't too bad but the sandwich size is so tiny! I thought it was for a little kid! Seriously, not worth $10!!!! Really over priced food! I watched them make my sandwich with only half the ingredients...I asked a staff member to please check it. She gave it a cursory glance and said it was good. This zupa's has only been open two months so some of the employees are still bring trained. An employee talked to us for several minutes before we could order--asked my daughter about her clothes, makeup, height, occupation, etc. RANDOM?! The food was fresh and delicious. We got tomato orzo soup, a grilled cheese panini and a Cobb salad with poppy seed dressing. I tried their chocolate hazelnut mousse for dessert; it was way too sweet. The parking lot was okay. Some spaces are far away. This is a busy location. The air conditioner was blasting so I asked an employee if they could turn it down. She said it is on a timed schedule so there wasn't anything she could do about it. Maybe they don't want customers to be comfortable and linger. Boo. I talked to some ladies who ate outside because it was freezing in the restaurant. The patio chairs are metal so they got burnt (102 degree weather). Maybe they could get seat cushions. Let me start by saying that the customer service with this location was amazing and very attentive. Sadly, the food did not impress. My husband and I went to this location for a lunch date. He ordered the steak Thai salad, the lettuce tasted as if it had been frozen and chemicals added. He had also asked for no tomatoes, his request was ignored l. With this he had also ordered the chicken noodle soup, to which tasted as if someone dropped a pound or more of salt in his one bowl. I had ordered the strawberry harvest salad and chickpea veggie soup. The strawberries and apples in my salad tasted as if someone had put chemicals on them to make them last longer and some of the strawberries had mold on them. The lettuce was drowned in to much dressing and tasted the same as my husbands, full of chemicals. The soup was the same as my husbands, WAY to much salt. When we went to throw away our trash and put the dishes where it asks us to, an employee seemed annoyed at us for not having eaten much of our meal and rolled his eyes at us. In my opinion, it was not worth the $30.00 spent on soup and salad I could have made better myself at home for much less. Sadly won't be returning to this location. read more

Idk how this place only has 3 stars!! It's so good!! I'm obsessed with the nuts about berries salad, the lobster bisque & the crab avocado melt sandwich. Zupas, I love you, but not today. I usually go to a different Zupas but recently moved closer to this one. This is my first time going here and lets just say I was disappointed. The people working were not very nice and were rushing my friend and I through the line. They weren't very busy so that was frustrating. It took so long to cook out food that they had to bring it out to us 5 minutes after we paid and sat down. Then they brought it out looking like this picture. It tasted amazing as always but the presentation was just sad. The restaurant was also pretty dirty but that wasn't a big deal I just assumed they were busy right before I came in. This was my first ever Cafe Zupas experience and it did not disappoint! They have a seasonal Pumpkin Chorizo soup that is delightful! It has just the perfect amount of spicy with the fall gourd flavor. I ended up choosing the Chicken Enchilada Chili and it was quite good. We're from out of town but are visiting which is how we ended up at this location. All the employees we're great with the exception of an employee named Elisa? Horrible work ethic. This was last night 9/2. I ordered 5 sandwiches in total, all combos. The lady making my salads asked Elisa to make the sandwiches, but then Elisa said she didn't want to make them! The salad girl kept telling her that she had a long time to make a salad but that she chose to stand there and do nothing so now she had to make the sandwiches. Elisa was ignoring the salad girl and making faces. She was was simply not making them so the salad girl had to go and start making them. Then Elisa took over (because the salad girl had to make more salads) but with the worst attitude ever. She was making the sandwiches right next to the dirty rags on the counter and everything. Then it was time to get the sandwiches out of the toaster. It kept beeping and beeping but Elisa kept ignoring it. Another employee who puts the toppings on the salads kept telling her to get the sandwiches but again, Elisa was standing there ignoring her as well, just doing her thing. So this lady went and took out the sandwiches for her and told her that she needed to make a sandwich again. I moved on to the register to pay then Elisa brings up the first sandwich wrapped to go (even though she saw the trays with the rest of the food NOT IN TOGO BOXES but didn't care, she was just dragging herself around with horrible body language, horrible attitude, making faces. so the register lady apologized for her and said "sorry she's wrapping them to go, is that okay?" I said no, that we would like to enjoy them here ON PLATES with the rest of our food and asked for them to be served in plates... I would like to say we eat at Zupas AT LEAST once a week at our home town. We go to different locations and have never encountered anything like this. This employee was completely immature and had a horrible work ethic. You could tell the other employees were annoyed at her but at the same time already used to her behavior. I ordered a large soup to go. My soup was filled 1/2 way! If that is how much they are supposed to put in, then they should use smaller bowls, so you know what to expect. Seems extremely overpriced. Service was poor too, like everyone is in training. My mom ordered a small soup. They used a small bowl filled it with one scoop. Then we waited for them to put her small soup in the bag, but then they took the bowl and dumped in back in the s8erving bowl. I love Zupas' food but this location is so bad. I had an online order and arrived at the given time, but it was not ready yet so I joined a group of other customers who were waiting on their online orders as well. I was perfectly fine to wait, but 15 minutes went by and not a single worker had even looked at any of us waiting for our pickup orders. The manager came out to address a problem and only then did we get asked what orders we were waiting for.
