Having so many basic items out of stock right off the bat was already a letdown. The main issue happened in the parking lot right after they closed at 10 pm. Instead of handling a basic complaint about her attitude professionally, the worker completely blew up at a group of older Arab ladies. She started calling them names, got into a huge shouting match, and kept escalating things until she ended up calling the cops on them over nothing. I get having a bad day or being tired after a shift, but involving the police on elderly women who were just upset and literally in tears over how poorly they were treated is completely ridiculous. The ladies ended up leaving anyway, but watching a staff member react so aggressively to older customers made the whole environment feel super tense and unsafe for everyone standing around. Not a good look at all!

The bread is soft, the garlic flavor is just right, and the cream cheese filling brings everything together perfectly. Their coffee drinks are also consistently good. My personal favorite is the Smokin' Spaniard, probably because I'm a sucker for anything made with condensed milk. It's rich, smooth, and just sweet enough without being over the top. On a recent visit, I decided to try their new Pineapple Express. It was a hot day, and I was in the mood for something fruity and refreshing without any caffeine. It was decent - light and refreshing, though it didn't quite stand out as much as their coffee drinks for me. Overall, this is still one of my favorite bakeries and coffee spots.
