Let me tell you how outrageous I am. Here at the Sliver legacy, Circus Circus, and El Dorado. The Cafe Central is the only one food place that is opened after 10pm. At 1:45am I went order to the cafe centeral to try to order. I was 3rd in line waiting for a food order. It was 20 mins nobody came to take anybody's order. I nicely walked to the kitchen and said to the waitress Harmony "excuse me babe there is people out here, can we please place a order" Harmony is playing on her phone and said "I am the only one working taking orders I am busy" I said "We been out here for 20 minutes standing you haven't came out, what are you doing cooking too?" I wasn't getting throw to her so I left the kitchen. I went all the way around to the other side. And I explained the situation. Bridget the waitress was so nice was so polite. She explained she is not allowed to take to go orders it's for dine in but she was so nice and helped me out. Bridget is amazing and awesome. Harmony on the other hand needs to be retrained. I stay at this property at least once a month. I need to leave the hotel now just to get food because the to go service sucks!! I am glad Bridget was understanding and helped me out! read more

Do not sleep on their Taste of Asia Menu! I tried the Vietnamese fried chicken and enjoyed it very much. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Perfectly seasoned and balanced well with with pickled radish, carrots, and Vietnamese fish sauce. The Pho was okay, overall the soup was good but the noodles was a bit under cooked for my preference. The service was great. Friendly and attentive. The ambiance was as expected and intended, casual Cafe style dining inside the silver legacy casino. Looking forward to try different items on the Taste of Asia menu on my next visit. I popped in here to grab some food. The waiter was great. It was empty when I got there and well lit. He really went over the menu and recommends. I get the ribeye over the New York steak. The baked potato was out of the world perfect. I literally ate it for three meals. All for $39. I think it was 12 ounces but honestly, I think it was bigger than that. And the baked potato was fully loaded baby. The veggies were the bad part, they were nasty. It was broccoli and cauliflower had a little mold on it. So I just didn't eat that which wasn't the end of the world. read more

Cafe Central punches way above it's rating, and I'm glad I had a chance to check it out for myself. I was downtown for some meetings and felt like breakfast. I'm rarely near the casinos so I thought I'd check this one out since it was close by and the menu looked great. The ambiance is very chill and though you can see right out into the casino I actually felt like I was quite removed. I liked the bright lights, large tables, and decor a lot, all of which helped transport me a bit! The menu is pretty expansive, and I will say it comes across as expensive in many ways too. The cost of everything has gone up, so I do expect to see it to a certain degree, but it's still surprising in some regards. Service was on point. Greeted promptly by the host, server arrived to take drink orders quickly, and was attentive throughout our meal. On the food side, the offerings are diverse, covering all three meals. It was interesting to see some items only available at certain times of the day, like the Asian section of the menu. You definitely have to read it all closely to make sure you don't settle on something that isn't being offered at the time you visit. I went for the Casino Breakfast, which came with 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, and an order of cinnamon roll French toast. The french toast was rich and decadent, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was nice and crispy too. Overall a breakfast a notch above what you might expect, well presented and prepared, and a great meal. I imagine it gets pretty busy on weekends, but if you're around during the week, make a stop! read more

Cafe Central was delicious! We got the croque monsiour and the breakfast quesadilla and I recommend both! The croque had fresh locally made sourdough toast, with a speciality cheese and a stack of savory ham. Service was great and the restaurant feels light and friendly. We stopped by for dinner Monday night, July 4th weekend. We knew it was going to busy and it was. It took about 15 mins to be seated & probably about the same amount of time for anyone to come get our drink and another 15 for food orders. The staff looked slammed so it was understandable. The kitchen must of been backed up as well since food took a while to come out. When food did come out, it was good. There wasn't anything to write home about. Newly renovated restaurant at Silver Legacy. Childhood Core memory unlocked coming here. I remember this place was open 24 hours and whenever we'd come to Reno regardless of the time of day, we would have our first meal here. We dined in on a Friday evening and the wait wasn't too long. They have American, Asian, and Italian cuisine. We ordered the Vietnamese crispy chicken plate, and the wonton pho. The servings are huge! service took a little bit long but the bussers were really quick. My parents also come to eat oatmeal here in the mornings and get regular breakfasts. I was staying at the Silver Legacy Casino for a bowling tournament and had seen this location and decided to try it on the day I was ready to check out. I was immediately seated and greeted by my waiter stating he would be with me in a moment. It appeared that he might have been the only one attending to tables. But he was real quick to return and take my drink order and food order. I decided to try their California Omlet that was served with toast & hashbrowns. Everything was prepared very quickly and seasoned properly. My waiter was friendly and professional and the placed appeared to be clean. Restaurant is located in Silver Legacy Casino Resort. It's open 24/7 and the place was busy but no wait when we went on a Friday morning. There were 3 of us for breakfast and service was fine at first. I went with the Croque-Madame, which is ham, gruyère cheese with a bechamel sauce with eggs on toast, it was very tasty. It came with hash browns. Towards the end of my meal I noticed something in my hash browns and it was a piece of soft plastic, like from a wrapper, smaller than a dime. I was pretty much done eating anyway. I let the server know and showed him the piece of plastic. My intention was to just let him know, I even said nicely, I wanted him to know so the cooks could be more careful. He barely acknowledged me showing it to him. Did not apologize at all. I was staying at Silver Legacy and this place was downstairs near the lobby so I ordered it via room service. I got the 2 eggs any style over medium with a side of hash browns and 2 sausages. Also came with sourdough toast. I also asked for extra condiments and napkins. Took about 20 minutes. When it arrived it was still very warm. Everything tasted very good and they even gave me my extra condiments which many places never do. One problem though...they gave me bacon instead of sausage. I didn't bother to complain because I was on a tight schedule and didn't want to wait. Other than that everything was fine. Reasonably priced too. If I stay at Silver Legacy again I'd order from there and hopefully they'll give me what I paid for. read more

Went out of a late night eats and this coffee shop was the only one open at The Row. Because of this reason, there was a bit of a line, but it wasn't a long wait to get a table. We were seated with a good view of all the people walking by. Great for people watching while we waited. Not so great for privacy. The service was slow. Servers seemed to have big sections with lots of tables to take care of. When our server finally came to the table, he was very friendly! I got steak and eggs and my husband got nachos. My steak was pretty dry and cooked a little more than I had ordered. The nachos were great! Lots of toppings, so each chip wouldn't be "naked." The service was amazing, the waiters were amazing. I believe her name was Maria, Thank you for being so kind and hospitable. Getting seated and in the restaurant was also quick, in addition to getting our food. When I was here sadly their waffle maker was broken. So it limited what I really wanted to try, which was their cheddar bacon waffle. Instead I order their country fried steak, with fried eggs, hash browns, and toast. Biggest issue was the food was so bland. I have never had a white gravy without the taste of pepper, or sausage, or even a lack of savoryness as this. Mrs. E. made the first mistake of her life by booking us at the Legacy. Lol! Truthfully, It was no problem and yes, they'll get a decent review. Our server was Tyler. He didn't place the silverware on the table properly, gave us the bill before bringing the food, we asked for a to go box and didn't bring it and seemed unhappy while he was serving our table. I understand that he might been upset because was new years but he at least show some etiquette during his job. The only thing that I couldn't complain about him is that brought our refills without asking, which was nice. The burger was good and fries delicious. I would think twice before returning. A place with so many options except at breakfast, this is basically all there is...very glad I stopped in. Service here, genuine. It's basically a coffee shop, across the walkway from Ramsey's Kitchen. My entire bill for 2pp this am was less than one of last nights appetizers! Carafe of coffee, so no waiting for refills. Lady is smiling even though it's only 7am. She's been back to my table 4-5 times even though the rest of the staff is hanging out at the podium sneaking sips of coffee from their sips under the counter.
