This Korean cafe has been on my list for a while and I'm so glad that I finally made my way here. It's a quaint cafe with cute vintage decor. I love the details from the complimentary cream puff that comes with your beverage down to the paper dollies stamped 'Cafe Maji.' We ordered a Hazelnut latte, Smores latte, and Hazelnut white mocha latte paired with Spicy Chipotle Chicken panini, Angry burger, and Maji burger. The hazelnut lattes had a cute bear latte art. The iced S'mores latte was huge and was topped with a s'more. Presentation was beautiful for all but was definitely too sweet. The Chipotle Chicken panini was not spicy and came with kale salad. The bread was not thick and had a nice outer crust which is exactly how I like it. The burgers were designed with bear faces and even had ears which is so cute. There was also a corn on a stick that came with the burgers. Everything tasted great. Overall, I would come back to try other items on their menu. read more

If you're looking for a cute spot in OC for studying + snacks... this is the spot. Since the one in Arcadia closed down, this is the one I've been going to a lot. I love coming here to study! If you're not into a lot of noise, this is probably not the best place-- but if you have earphones you'll be fine! Outlets are pretty limited, however you can request to be seated next to one. They don't seem to have a time limit if you stay, but it gets pretty busy and I think it might just be courtesy to leave so incoming guests have a place to sit. The best time to come is the time between lunch and dinner, but it's pretty unpredictable at times. I came here and got the hazelnut latte with almond milk (hot) and my boyfriend got the lemonade with the popsicle (forgot the name.) It was so good! The only thing is that it's served to you kind of warm, so it gets cooled down pretty easily. Also, things are SUPER overpriced... All in all a nice place to be :) read more

I think this is the cutest cafe I've ever been to, it feels more like a nice home than a typical, trendy coffee spot. Even the menu's are cute little booklets! With the adorable aesthetics around us it was only expected to order a fitting meal. My friend and I had the Maji burger that came with your standard cheeseburger ingredients. Plus a little bear face on a soft bun. On the side was a small elote or corn on the cob with cheese and chilli powder, and a jalapeño. The jalapeño was really spicy, if you can't handle your spice I don't recommend taking a bite. But overall, the burger was very tasty, the meat was well-cooked, and the fried onions with bbq added a nice touch. The corn was super juicy and delicious. It was a heavy meal for one, making the seemingly-steep price understandable. I would love to come back here again. read more

As soon as you walk in, you'll notice right away how aesthetically-pleasing this cafe is. Any photo you take here will automatically be cute because their presentation is amazing. I appreciate all the effort that is put into all the details, such as the doilies that are hand-stamped by the employees that are placed on their trays and stapled onto their to-go bags. Overall, the cafe has a good environment for studying and has a good number of tables. Some things to be aware of though is that there are few outlets and none of the tables in the middle of the room can reach those outlets. A couple of times that I've been there, the A/C is on really high so it's freezing cold. But they actually keep blankets in a basket there that you can request to use if you're cold or if you want to use it as a cushion for your seat. Their food and drinks are all really tasty and beautiful, and as a result, on the expensive side. If you'll be staying for a good number of hours though, it's worth it. I LOVE their potato fries! For $9, you get a lot of different variety of fries in a cute porcelain basket! The macarons ($6 for 6) are not as worth it here as they are small, flavors are okay, and the buttercream is thin. I've had some great flavored lemonades here in the summer and have tried their lattes (such as their popular bear latte and Almond Roca Latte), but one of the teas that I most like getting here is the throat therapy tea ($6.75). It's comes in a teapot like their other hot teas but it's not listed on their menu. It's a great drink to get in the winter or even in the summer since their A/C is always blasting hehe. read more

I heard this place had the cutest drinks so in January 2020, I decided that I had to try them. It's located in a lot with other stores and a shared parking lot. Parking was simple and I parked near the entrance of the cafe. There's glass panes so you can see inside as you walk towards the entrance. It's filled with different sized wooden tables and chairs and various displays of cuteness on shelves and against the walls. When I walked in, I was greeted by the staff and asked where I wanted to sit. They were friendly and gave me the menu to look over. I knew each drink came with a design. When I received the drinks, I saw a cute little bear face on them and they came with a cream puff pastry that reminded me of Beard Papas. The cafe itself is very cute and I like the vibe inside, where people can just sit or hang out and chill. I ordered the BBQ chicken quesadilla, which I enjoyed. I also got a slice of rainbow cake, but I didn't like it. The taste wasn't amazing or anything special so I don't thinks it's worth the $7.5. Lastly, I ordered a green tea latte, and that was very good, my favorite part of the meal. The drink was slightly sweet but very light- it was a perfect balance. Wanted to try this cute Korean/Fusion cafe and finally had the chance the other day! They specialize in cute food and drinks that actually taste good as they look. I came here with my boyfriend and my friend and we were seated immediately. Decor is super cute and there's more seating than I expected. The menus have animals on the front and they have espresso drinks, specialty non-coffee lattes, teas, pasta, ddeokbokki, burgers, and desserts. My boyfriend and friend both ordered burgers and I got spicy shrimp and mushroom pasta. We tried to order some ddeokbokki but they were out of rice cake :( We shared some parmesan truffle fries instead. Our drinks came first. Boyfriend got a lavender latte, friend got green tea latte, and I got a taro latte. All three drinks were delicious and adorable. They each came with a cream puff on the side. Food was great as well: burgers are massive and pasta was delicious with a kick. I really enjoyed the fries because they were a mix of thin cut, wedges, curly, and waffle fries which I've never seen before. I came on a Sunday, when it first opened. I've been wanting to try this place forever because those cute pictures were tempting. It started getting crowded, after the store opened. I ordered the French vanilla cappucino, which came with a small cream puff. My boyfriend ordered the almond roca cappucino. I preferred my boyfriend's drink, because it was more flavorable. My coffee was unforgettable, but I ordered something simple. They had a separate table with water and cups on it. I did wish the water had ice in it, since my tongue had that weird texture after drinking coffee. The worker checked up on us once, which was nice. I paid at the front. Ah! It was so wonderful, my bf can't stop talking about it. The food and drinks were amazing but the customer service surpassed everything. The man working there whom I believe was also the owner was so welcoming and hospitable. He gave us a complimentary cake to go along with our meal. My bf got the spicy chicken chipotle panini and he can not stop raving about it! I got the chocolate brownie waffle with ice cream, and it was very decadent! The cafe felt homey and very comfy! I came here with my cousin this evening looking for a shop that was open to grab coffee and snacks. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem! I ordered their Rose Latte & Lavender Latte accompanied by their blueberry cheesecake. The friendly owner took my order and told me all about how he came to open his small shop after moving from Korea! He was very kind and even popped in a couple of cream puffs when packing up my dessert! Both lattes were delicious, light, and excellently sweetened (perfect evening snack). The blueberry cheesecake was a great size for 2 people! But the real kicker was the cream puffs -- they were so fresh tasting and light we went in and bought 6 more! Haha! I love the interior and concept of this cafe! It's a great place to hangout and study which is what I did! There was a good amount of people dining in and most of them were students studying. It is an actual cafe unlike most places that claim to be cafes without actual food or waiters. The hostess even asked where I'd prefer to sit and since I came to study, I asked for a table next to an outlet which was what I got. There were so many tables and chairs that even though there was a lot, it was never completely packed. I ordered the passion fruit lemonade, bacon garlic mushroom alfredo pasta, and pesto club panini. The lemonade came in a huge mason jar along with complimentary cream puff. The drink itself tastes bland and could've been sweeter. It seemed really watered down. The pasta tastes very comforting and delicious. The only compliant is how oily it is! I wasn't comfortable eating a dish loaded with oil. The panini tasted really nice. It came with kale salad and honey on the side. This is a very expensive cafe to eat at. Most drinks are over $3 and a meal is most likely over $9! I shared the pasta and panini with a friend but the total was still a lot. I ended up paying over $20 for my share! Place is cute and all...but we had uninvited visitors to our table/area. A total of 3 roaches were seen and that was only the ones visible by our table. Such a cute cafe!! I love how cute the decorations are, the look of the wooden tables and plates and the atmosphere. It's a pretty quiet place so it's a good place to study and grab a coffee. Even though the drinks are around $5, they taste great and all come with one small cream puff which pairs well. Lattes have different animal art that's super cute. I got the taro latte and you can tell they used actual ingredients to make it instead of powder. I didn't get try to their food but the variety of food seems unique and delicious. People are talking about how it's only one guy working in the order, but I don't see why can't they hire a few more employees. Seems a bit stingy to me. Such a cute cafe! I got a rose latte and it at first i didn't know how to feel but after a second sip it grew on me and i loved it!! I also got the mozzarella tteokbokki and the banana honey cinnamon waffle. Tteokbokki was good, but the waffle was AMAZING!!!! it was crispy yet fluffy and the toppings complimented each other very well. i will solely be coming back for this waffle. This place is super duper cute! Despite it being a bit overpriced at around $5.50 for a latte, I knew I had to try this place out. The cafe is actually pretty large with lots of seating. They have sit-down service here so you actually have to pay tip which kind of sucks. The staff are pretty timid and aren't the most welcoming. I thought this place would be more packed but only a few tables were seated when I arrived here on a weekday afternoon. I've been eyeing all the taro/ube specialties around Orange County and it seemed that the taro and matcha tea lattes were the most popular here. Since taro is more rare, I decided to order the taro instead of the matcha. The purple color of the latte was so pretty and it came with a cute little face on top. I also liked how the drinks come with a mini cream puff that is super yummy and moist. I wish I could've gotten another cream puff even though I'm not even that big of a cream puff fan. The taro latte was also really good. It was much better than the taro latte I've gotten back in NorCal and I would definitely recommend it. My buddy took me to this kind of un-assuming Cafe. From the outside it didn't look like much. As I stepped in the door, the decor and ambiance was reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland-esque. (The new one with Johnny Depp) It's a great spot for an after dinner dessert and coffee. It seems to be a great study joint with plenty of space, tables and chairs. I ordered and hazelnut affogato (iced coffee with ice cream). It was a perfect after dinner dessert drink. It had the richness of ice cream but half the sweetness combined with the taste of coffee. Amazing! My buddy ordered a strawberry nutella waffle topped with whip cream and a side of Bear ensignia'd latte. The waffle was perfect with a slight crispiness on the outside and chewiness on the inside; topped over with fresh strawberries. Exactly how waffles should be. The service here is nothing short of attentive, quick and courteous. I'd recommend this place if you're in the mood just to hang out after dinner or grab a quick bite to eat. There are other savory goodies here to munch on as well. However, the later it is in the evening, the less parking spaces there are. The latte art is so cute, but the workers are extremely unattentive. Lack of service makes me really not want to come back anymore. The cafe is set up like a restaurant: you wait by the entrance for a host to escort you to your seat. you are given menus and you order, then the server will bring it to you later. However, as mentioned before, they are so unattentive! If you are going to have your service style be like restaurant, you really need to have workers who are similar to servers. First, they take over 15 minutes after seating you to ask you what you want to drink. Since you only really order drinks and desserts (they also have a small savory menu, but nothing extensive with details) that's a long time to look over the menu. I can understand taking a while after the order because the baristas have to make drinks for the entire cafe. However, giving the check should not take a long time. We had already been done with our drinks and a line was forming by the door. You would assume they would want to turn tables faster to seat more people. Unfortunately, no. I even went to the counter TWICE to ask for the check. They are very nice about it, but their process doesn't work efficiently. If your cafe doesn't want to deal with serving, they should make it where you order at the counter and can sit down where you please. They always are slow, even when I use to go to the other location that closed down. I feel like I would only go back if someone I was with wanted to go. I don't think I would consider going here on my own account. read more

Such an adorable cafe! Great for couples and girlfriends. I felt like I was sitting in a doll house. The drinks are also very cute and with unique flavors! I wanted to try so many! Their latte art is very nice and adorable! So far I've tried coconut latte and honey ginseng latte which were both good. I'm surprise it wasn't just looks, the drink actually had great flavors. I could definitely taste the ginseng in my latte. It was sweet but not overbearing. Each drink came with a small cream puff - even if you order to go! We also had to try the snow lemonade which was cool but it really just taste like a regular lemonade. We got the snow earl grey lemonade but I wasn't able to taste any earl grey flavor. However, it was fun watching the cotton candy melt into the lemonade! On to the food: Bulgogi quesadilla was great! Had a nice jalapeño kick with cheese and beef wrap inside a crunchy shell. Loved it! The cheese fries were decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The Maji burger was not good. The meat was way too dry. It had a cute presentation and came with a corn in the cob but that doesn't make up for the dry burger. Tiramisu waffle was pretty but a little too sweet. I even got my new Yelp profile picture here! Today I had the Maji Burger. I love cheeseburgers - they're my favorite food, so when I say this is one of the best burgers I've ever had, that's saying a lot. Looks had nothing to do with my review on this burger. The meat was juicy and tender as hell. The sauce was BOMB and everything went well together. Also it's hella cute. Then for dessert I had the Matcha Tiramisu. The cream was buttery and the dark chocolate perfectly complemented the bitterness of the matcha. I have to admit I didn't like Taro Tea Latte. It was pretty bland... maybe it would have been better cold. But I ordered it hot because I wanted the latte art... at least the bear was cute... Price is steep though. $81 for entrees, drinks, and desserts for 3 people. But you're paying for the aesthetics too so it's worth it. I will definitely come back. Do it for the gram. read more

DRINKS: One word, ADORABLE. They have creative drinks as well. I had the cotton candy lemonade, which requires you to pour syrup onto the surrounding cotton candy to melt into the drink. It was a very messy process, for me, but it was fun! All of their drinks come with a cream puff. FOOD: In my opinion, the food options here are more snacks than meal foods. The portions are decent, and you can get full off of it. Their plating for food is pretty cute, not as much as their drinks though. STUDY: If you want quiet, this is NOT the place for you. If you're okay with a bit of noise, then you'll be fine. There are moments of quiet but also moments of very loud socializing...depending on whether there are a lot of customers or not. Personally, I really liked studying here though. They have good wifi connection and wall plugs around. This place is just OK for my girlfriend and I. The ambiance seems cool and all because of the fancy European theme they portrays. You basically just go here for the ambiance because it is a nice set up for a lit pics for Instagram for your friends to see, but if you go here for most of there food, sad to say.. you will be disappointed. They put a great deal making this place cute and appealing for "Hello Kitty" type of girls, but my girl is a kick ass type so unfortunately, she's ok with it. The price is wallet breaking, too because of overpriced menus that have mediocre taste. However, I did enjoy a particular dish called Topokki and I do think it's delicious. I ordered their topokki because I want to try something new. It is basically Korean spaghetti since they are using noodle like dumplings for the pasta. I've been wanting to come here forever but never had the chance. This past week, I finally made plans to visit, and it's so cute! I wanted to try both the green tea latte and the cloud adffogato, but I couldn't drink two separate beverages, so I opted for the former. It was way more sweet than I anticipated, so it's more like a dessert, but it was still delicious. The accompanying cream puff was surprisingly tasty as well. We ordered the Maji burger and the turkey panini to share. I asked if the bear on the burger would be angry or happy. The girl told me happy, but he came angry. Still cute, except the eyes were too small and were hard to see. Get it? Hard to see? Had har. That was a totally accidental pun, btw. Anywho, the burger was juicy and flavorful. The panini was way better than expected. I would order both again. The weird thing is that the panini came with a saucer of honey. We didn't know what to do with this. I poured a little on one part of my sandwich, to the horror of my dining partner, and it wasn't good. I shouldn't have done that. Ate here earlier today with my 2.5 year old daughter and she loved it! Service: Great! Seated right away. It's a smallish cafe, super cute and simple interior. Very "aesthetic." The menus are adorable as well, staff is wonderful and friendly. FOOD! The food is cute to look at, quality is so so. Portions are also very large so perfect for sharing! I ordered a turkey panini, snow lemonade, truffle fries, and a taro latte. We shared everything and had a lot to bring home. Everything was yummy, but the star loss for me is because most of my order was either overly sweet or salty for my taste. My latte was pretty sweet, I could only drink half of it. Our fries were good but too salty. Our snow lemonade was actually perfect though! I was worried with all the cotton candy that it would be insane sugary but it was actually nice and refreshing. My panini was a little underwhelming (simple sliced turkey instead of roasted pieces) but came with honey and jalapeños on the side, literally my favorite things in the world! I eat honey with pretty much everything so YUM. The kale salad the panini came with was simple and delicious as well. My daughter LOVED everything, and even now that we're home is asking for the "purple drink." I'll definitely be back! Cafe Maji has super cute drinks that are all flavorful and unique and they have Korean fusion food if you're ever hungry.
