Very solid neighborhood option with spacious seating and friendly staff. The happy hour has $7 pizzas which you can add toppings to from 3-6 pm on weekdays. Highly recommend coming during an off hour as it can get packed with long lines during prime brunch and dinner hours. Worth coming by especially if you are on the UES!

Great French inspired/American restaurant that replaced iconic five mile stone. Amazing location to people watch. Usually lines are long but generally worth the wait. Food is great, staff is very accommodating and attentive. Large portion sizes and relatively affordable for a popular spot. We really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. The eggs were fresh and loved the addition of thick cut bacon, with a side of roasted potatoes. The prosciutto pizza was incredible as well, super savory and sweet with the honey. Definitely worth the wait if it's less than 30 mins. Interior is beautiful and cozy.

Got here at 10am Saturday and we had a reservation. Place looked fairly full at this time although a walk in may have still been accepted. I got a Breakfast burrito, which is really good with eggs still slightly runny complementing the chicken sausage. It comes with smashed potatoes and verde sauce although we asked for hot sauce too which was better (perhaps housemade?). Matcha latte was standard and good.

Yup - I've found my new go to spot. And it seems it's a lot of people's spot too because they don't take reservations and there's always a line out the door. This space is beautiful - perfect for the summer with the outdoor seating and second floor balcony area. My favorite cocktail will forever be a margarita, and it is, unfortunately, difficult to find a very good one. This place serves a GOOD margarita. I tried a Hugo Spritz for the first time and that was just refreshing and yummy. All the food we had perfectly hit the spot and those fries... oh my godddd! SO SO good! And the aioli it comes with is to die for. I will be eagerly checking out the LES location because it's less of a commute, but wow I'm just so happy to have found a new go-to.

The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious and packed with so much flavor. The staff and service were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Overall, enjoyed the experience no wait time on a Sunday at 3 PM. The waitress could've been more friendly. I enjoyed the fungi pizza and the strawberry spritz was good. The shrimp ceviche, and the other menu items were average wouldn't order again. Would like it if the brunch menu was available after 3 PM.

We had a wonderful weekend brunch here as a party of 3. I was nervous about there not being reservations, but we were seated after about a ten minute wait. Our order was taken quickly and our food came out quickly as well. All of it was beautifully presented and the perfect portion size for a filling but not heavy brunch. I got the chia yogurt bowl and it was a great combination of fruit, granola, chia yogurt, honey, and coconut shavings. All the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were well balanced and delicious. I would definitely come back again to try more of their menu items!

Love it, love it, love it. Long line lets you know how popular this place it, but it moved very quickly. Service was top notch and the food was superb. The breakfast platter with chicken sausage is it, order it, period. We also got the Lemon Ricotta pancakes to share... a must!

I came here on a holiday for brunch and waited about 25 min for two people. The line was long but moved quickly. We were seated in the domino room upstairs which was a smaller space with a bar. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a latte. I loved the breakfast burrito. As someone who loves avocado, they put so much in there. And the sauce it came with added a lot of flavor. The potatoes were cooked really well and seasoned perfectly. The salad was also a nice small portion. It was a good meal. The latte was alright, nothing special, probably wouldn't order it again. I would definitely return though for the food.

Great addition to the upper east side. I was able to get a seat for breakfast on a weekend. They have an upstairs and a downstairs but felt like limited seating in the downstairs. My breakfast burrito surprised me with how good it was and was very flavorful. I also tried the pancakes which were tasty. The food is nothing revolutionary but just good breakfast food. I want to try their lunch or dinner food soon. I would for sure go back to cafe maud but not sure I would wait in line for a table.

Went to Cafe Maud for brunch and for a weekday it was still busy! Could not get a table inside so we opted for outdoors and with our baby strollers it was a better option with two clunky strollers. Shared the meatball and tuna crispy rice, which were good. And for my main I ordered the short rib fried rice which I would've skipped next time. I barely tasted any short rib, mainly rice. It was a disappointment. Do not get this dish. And the chicken wrap which my friend got, she said there were barely any chicken in it. So both were such a disappointment. The service was ok, our waiter wasn't friendly, he was just there. Overall this is a Instagram hit spot. Food left little to be desired. And definitely overpriced for what it is.

The Upper East Side's hottest new restaurant is here, and I was glad to finally try it. Cafe Maud is often busy on weekends and weekday nights, with a long line abutting the restaurant. Because I came in the late morning on a workday, there were plenty of seats available. I was seated in the "Domino Room", a sultry bar area with gold walls and burgundy accents. I ordered an item from the brunch menu: a hefty plate of potatoes, scrambled eegs, toast, sausages, and greens. The eggs, which were the standout piece, were silky, yolky, and luxurious. The sausages were flavorful with a crispy exterior. The potatoes were good, although not very well seasoned - it would have benefited from a side of aioli. The toast was airy and crisp but did require butter and toast for flavor, which I had to request because it did not already come with it. I didn't care for the salad, but not because it wasn't tasty - I just don't like salads. Overall, the breakfast plate was great, and I would order it again. I just wished the food came out hotter than it did. Most of the items on my plate, especially the potatoes but except for the eggs, were room temp when they arrived on my table. I also ordered a plate of deep-fried oreos, which were so decadent. They were fresh from the frier: gooey and cakey on the inside, crispy on the outside, intensely sweet. This is definitely a dish to share. Now, let's talk about the star of the show here: THE BREAKFAST BURRITO. I normally wouldn't order that for brunch, but I had a bite of my husband's and felt a pang of food envy. It was SO GOOD. The salsa it came with was to die for. The burrito's interior of meat, eggs, cheese, among other ingredients, all melted together in a saucy delicious bite. I vowed to return here just for THAT. I know that the entirety of the Upper East Side is clamoring to come here, and I can attest that the overall experience - food, ambience, service - made it worth my while. Maybe it'll be worth yours.

This has been a hot spot ever since it opened up here. We got lucky with a short half hour wait on a Thursday night. A great tip is to give your number to the host and then grab a quick beer at craft & carry down the street. Now for the actual meal. All the food was delicious. We loved the fungi pizza, crispy tuna appetizer, sesame chicken bites and ceasar salad. The one detractor of the meal was how cold the place was due to the door constantly opening and closing.

The restaurant felt homey and I could tell there were many regulars and other return visitors, for good reason! Ordered: Masala Chai ($4.50)- this tasted authentic, was nicely spiced, and wasn't too sweet. I only wish the cup was bigger. Steamed momo ($12+)- I like how you have the option to mix and match. We ordered the mixed vegetable and the oyster mushroom and surprisingly I much preferred the oyster mushroom variety. The mixed vegetable momo tasted more earthy to me. Himalayan rice set ($20.5)- this was a very nice assortment- there was rice, lentil dal, your protein of choice- (I chose beef brisket), stir fried cabbage, broccoli rabe, pickled vegetables and crisp flatbread. The only downside in my opinion was that the brisket wasn't too tender and I didn't love the beef flavoring or preparation. The rest of the items were so delicious! I've been thinking about this meal ever since I left the restaurant. You don't want to skip this place.

It can be a little confusing to find since it's a stand inside the market, not a separate store front. They carry a pretty wide variety of Asian flavor-inspired breads, pastries, cakes and cookies, including buns and some more dessert-type items. I checked out Progreso for an event this past weekend and ended up buying a few items to go: - matcha marble sponge cake $4.49: was fluffy, light and moist, good flavor of matcha and a light schmear of whipped cream in the middle. Would get this again! - taro cream puff $6.50: this was taro paste (? not sure if that's fully accurate though it felt more consistency of soft whipped taro than a traditional pastry cream) with whipped cream on top sandwiched by what I believe was choux pastry with craquelin. I think maybe because the this was sitting chilled/refrigerated for a while the top craquelin layer wasn't quite crispy anymore, though it looked nice. Personally it was a bit too much regular whipped cream, would've preferred more of a taro pastry cream. - mango pudding with fresh mango $6.50 mango flavor in the pudding was light though it was a nice tease of flavor. The texture was on the firmer side for puddings. The mangos were a bit oxidized though tasted ok, maybe glaze them or do something to maintain the color? Since this is a pretty new spot hope they could make a few improvements and blow it out of the park! I appreciated the owners' enthusiasm for sharing about their shop.

Me and my girl was looking for a coffee shop that was laptop friendly and closed late since we came after work. I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve any alcoholic beverages as I saw a lot of good reviews on that portion. We came, we sat down on a Saturday night. There was only one person at the front and it seemed she was also managing the serving part so it did get pretty hectic at some point. We decided to order the Budae Jigae (Hot Pot), there is no way to alter the spicy level so for those who love spicy spicy, this is for you. Me and my friend was really disturbed by the fact that we were treated some type of way. Maybe it's because we weren't Korean or? Service was slow asf. There was actually 3-4 people at the front but even then it was so hard to get someone to take my order, ask for napkins, for the check, etc. While there was no time limit on Saturday, there was a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes on Sunday. would I go again?
