Cool spot! Found out it's where people eat if they're going to do Lucasfilm stuff? I got told there is Yoda nearby. food was delicious! Bathrooms down the hall always a plus. Entrance in a weird spot through grass always cool.

Went here after going to the Palace of Fine Arts. It's a very peaceful cafe with plenty of seating. The customer service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich which was reasonably priced and came with a light salad. Both tasted extremely good! I also had the sprinkle and peanut butter cookies which were also amazing! Overall, I would highly recommend this place. :)

Little cafe hidden in the presidio with great lunch options: soups, sandwiches and salads. Their service was friendly and super quick! There a few tables to eat inside and a couple picnic tables on the lawn out back.

Enter down the sidewalk right infront of that guy, cafe is inside this building. Not much parking.

Stopped by this cafe after touring a wedding venue in the Presidio. I got the chef salad, and mi mamá had the special of the day, open face veggie sandwich with side salad. Both were really good and filling! I would absolutely stop by if in the area in the early morning/afternoon. You walk into the building, and the cafe is to the left. There are indoor tables and chairs but with this weather in March, we enjoyed them right in front. total was aprox $30 for 2 people. I believe they close at 2 or 3 pm best for morning or early lunches

The decision to try this place for lunch was stupendous. I had the tuna melt. - YUM It came with a small tasty salad and was served on fresh toasted bread. The quality was more than decent and a involuntary sigh of contentment escaped my lips more than once. Come early to avoid the inevitable lunch queue.

This seems to be sandwich shop that typically are in office buildings for workers to grab lunch. They also have a daily soup and salads. The food is very good, with vegetarian options and not at unreasonable prices. If I am nearby & need to find a place to eat, I would come back.

If you want a quick meal near the Presidio, this place is fresh and creative. Yummy salads, sandwiches and breakfast until 11. Mark had a tuna salad sandwich ... bread was toasted & good. I had a combo with gazpacho soup, a small salad and half a tuna sandwich. It was delicious. The gazpacho was bursting with flavor. Can't give it 5 stars because it kind of feels like you're eating great food in a hallway. Linoleum floors & etc. Dog friendly: it was hot outside so we ate inside. I'd it were cooler, we would have eaten outside on a picnic table near grass.

The less sweet version was just right for me and I think the bitterness from each tea balanced each other well. The matcha added grassy notes, while the floral jasmine made for a very fragrant drink! The salted cheese cream on top added this perfect savory balance to the sweetness of the drink. It's one of those combinations that sounds a little unexpected but just works. My one note for next time is to go half sugar so the matcha flavor can really shine through, but that's a personal preference more than a criticism. The Black Sesame Latte was good, but we both wished the sesame flavor was a little more pronounced. If you're going in expecting bold, nutty black sesame notes, it's a touch on the subtle side. Still enjoyable, just leaves you wanting a little more of what drew you to order it in the first place. Overall a really fun spot with creative drinks and a great vibe. Already thinking about what to try on the next visit!

On the straightforward level, the drinks are genuinely well made: precise, balanced, and attentive to detail. The bartenders work with the care of craftspeople rather than performers. If you're curious about their more distinctive offerings, look for the whiskey and gin created with St. George Spirits, using juniper berries sourced from ancient bristlecone pines. It's an interesting example of how ingredients can carry a sense of time that goes beyond mere flavor. What sets The Interval apart, though, is that it is also the home of The Long Now Foundation, whose work is oriented toward "civilization-scale" thinking over the next 10,000 years. The setting reinforces that aspiration without feeling like a gimmick: the Manual for Civilization library (about 3,500 books), prototypes related to the 10,000 Year Clock, Brian Eno's permanent generative art installation, and a range of artifacts arranged throughout a restored 1930s industrial building at Fort Mason. The result is less "theme" than atmosphere, it's an environment that quietly nudges you toward reflection. It's also worth noting the economics of the place. The Interval operates in support of a nonprofit mission, and there are clear ways to participate beyond ordering a drink: membership, the Bottle Keep program (with bottles suspended overhead), and a seminar series that has earned a strong reputation. Even a casual visit contributes, in a small but real way, to projects intended to outlast any single moment of cultural attention. I wouldn't call it a bar that will change your life. But it is a bar that changes the terms of the evening. You can come for a well-executed cocktail and leave having spent an hour thinking about time, continuity, and what it might mean to build institutions that answer not only to the present, but to the future.

My friend was not fond of Equator Coffee, so we stopped in here for a latte and a snack. Walking in we found what felt like a real artists hangout. Much of the art on the walls were for sale and had a variety of styles. The coffee bar offers a variety of drinks and foods. What caught my eye right away was one of their coffee drinks was called a Raktajino. This is something only Trekkies would understand as a Klingon drink. I knew I was in the right place. For a snack, I tried their cheesecake bar called Mr. Barry Cheesecake. It was a berry cheesecake with a layer of berries and a crust under the cheese itself. It was delightful except for the fact that it got caught up in the roof of your mouth a lot. I had a honey lavender latte, although the Raktajino sounded good too. Their honey lavender syrup is really good and not too sweet. My friend had their Orange Blossom latte and said it was a little stronger and sweeter than mine but still good. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Fort Mason or anywhere nearby. They had lots of options and a good sense of humor!

During a recent visit, I had an uncomfortable experience with extremely rude behavior in the gift shop. After my visit, I received a survey from the museum and answered honestly about that experience, believing feedback is meant to help an institution improve. What happened next was shocking. My membership was canceled without warning, without explanation, and without anyone asking for clarification about what occurred. I never requested to cancel and later reached out because I wanted to renew -- only to be refused communication. Being removed after decades of support simply for offering honest feedback feels punitive and deeply out of alignment with the values the Disney name represents. Constructive feedback should lead to dialogue, not exclusion. I'm sharing this because longtime supporters deserve to be treated with respect, especially when responding to a survey the museum itself requested. This experience left me saddened, not just as a member, but as someone who believed in the spirit of the organization.
