My favorite sandwich place within walking distance of my office. I must have walked by dozens of times without ever going in, even just to check out their menu. Again, my loss. Our office ordered sandwiches from them early last year and I realized I had been missing out some very good sandwiches. Since then I have had The Italian, Spicy Soppressata and The Clucker. Every single one of them were good. I know deli sandwiches and have been eating them for 568 years. The good folks at Cafe Seventy8 create art on bread. They are the Ferrari of sandwich makers. My Go-To is The Italian: all Italian meat, cheese and bread. Perfecto. The meats are savory, the cheesy melty and the bread toasty & crunch. Just thinking about it now and my mouth has begun to water. Alore! I should get one today. Check out the pics...

I didn't spend much time here, but dropped by becuase it was nearby. I had heard that the "lesbian cafe" had good breakfast sandwiches, so I went with a bagel sandwich with garlic aioli, turkey, bacon, and arugula (?). As a NY native, I was not expecting much from the bagel, and while it wasn't anything to write home about, I was pleasantly surprised at how the sandwich all came together. If I had more mornings in the area, I'd definitely try another sandwich.

Peanut Butter Toast with Sliced Bananas

Pretty cozy cafe. Peanut butter banana toast was quite good, but a little expensive for what it is. Good service.

This place is such a cute cafe in Bernal Heights. The sandwich prices are extremely reasonable for a good amount of food. I really liked the red pepper Mayo they used in my Clucker sandwich!

The street is some what quiet even if it's sandwiched between Mission & San Jose, making it a nice space to grab a morning or midday meal. I stopped in to grab a light light bite (got a Croissant that was fresh and buttery), but I could see myself coming back if just to chill with a coffee, light meal and a book. The cafe has a lot of light & space, with some seating outside making it a comfortable space though my order was Togo. As for Parking ito not impossible, btw if you are here after 11am you might want to also hit up Mitchell's Ice Cream since it's just One Block Way for a scoop or pint :)

Cute cafe that smells great walking by. I stopped in for an oat milk latte to go. Barista was friendly and quick. Latte was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try food or spend time there.

Okay so my first visit here had a lil hiccup that lead to a love I never knew I would have for a sandwich. I ordered a high maintenance turkey sandwich, well because why would I would I make anyones, let alone my own life any easier... I like what I like. Period. And what I got was a Caprese sandwich on dutch crunch. Which they tried to rectify on my next visit but WHY! It was bomb! Okay one compound word that I do not use lightly... MOUTHGASM! Coming from a lesbian, that's a BIIIiiiiiig compliment! Any way, I now make my weekly trips here to Café Seventy8 a weekly stop during my work trip in to the city. Being that I rarely eat at the time I am here (the sando was a one off) I usually order what I call a Double Dirty Mexican Mocha with Almond Milk and Whip.. again I admit to being High Maintenance! Which is their Mexican hot chocolate and I add espresso (like I need more caffeine). Can I tell you the staff and owners here are the absolute sweetest! The atmosphere here, is to sum it up HAPPY. Smiles, hellos and "let me scootch over's" from the patrons. Happy comes from up top right, then trickles down. Cause and effect. Happy fun to be around owners/managers make happy employees. Happy employees make happy food and happy smiles. In turn creating a pool of pleasantness you cannot help but absorb when you walk in yo this beautifully quaint welcoming pet friendly non-judgmental corner café at the corner of 29th and Tiffany.

I love the breakfast panini - eggs, spinach, roasted red pepper mayo, tomatoes and cheese on ciabatta then toasted.

Physician, NP and Nurses managed the medications well, their Staff (administrator, case manager, social workers, and aides) showed unending compassion, caring, treat with love, patient, and kind. The skilled team (PT/OT/ST) worked closely with my mom and created a customized care plan tailored for her specific needs, and provided a hands-on approach that promoted her steady progress and confidence. The Activities gave her something to look forward to everyday (like bingo, puzzle etc) It is a really a beautiful facility, Staff are great, and the most important is they truly treat their residents like own family. The coffee was strong but smooth without any trace of bitterness. My omelette came with the best & most crispy hashbrowns I've had in a long time. Mom loved her toast, salmon & hash browns as well. Yvonne did a great job taking care of our table & she was also hostessing & helping to bus tables! Wow! I can say this is the spot for delicious asian american fusion brunch that left me really happy throughout the day. Creme Brulee French Toast 5/5 Perfectly balanced sweetness. I could eat this all day without getting tired. K-Bomb Benny 5/5 Very crispy fried chicken that's also tender and juicy. The sauce is so tasty. Runny eggs and fluffy potatoes. Service 3.5/5 Very slow in terms of trying to get an order in, paying for my tab which I had tried eyeing or waving down a server or asking for small things like napkins. I could see that they're understaffed and wished they hired more help. I'd still come back for their brunch. Ambience 3.8/5 From our seating it felt very crammed, since we could literally hear the conversation of the table next to us. It also does get loud since it's very busy. I also think their tables are quite small for the condiments and plates, which I'm glad my partner and I didn't order another dish. These are just stuff to beware of. They do have beautiful wooden panels on the wall to look at. I highly recommend having brunch here and will be coming back when I'm in the area.

I personally appreciate the amount of sour cream in the burrito and the meat and cheese were evenly distributed throughout. -the potatoes were also crispy but could use a little bit more seasoning Mascarpone Pancake 9/10 - loved this dish!! the pancakes were fluffy and of a good size. I would have liked if the mascarpone was evenly spread between the layers and not in a circle. I fear this time, it was not. We waited 1.5 hours and honored our request to not sit directly in the sun but ended up sitting us VERY closely to the table next week to us. When my bf went to the restroom, it almost felt like I was with the other party. Not a sentence goes unheard. I get you are busy but don't ruin the experience for guests! Give us some space to breathe! Especially outside !!! The food itself was mediocre this time around. I kept bragging about the crispy potatoes but it didn't taste the same as the 7 times I've come before. Not crispy at all. The biscuit was also more of a crumbly coffee cake rather than a flaky biscuit. And not enough butter! The only thing that was still a 10/10 was the lemon ricotta pancakes. I'm sad that I will no longer be coming here but maybe it's time to start going somewhere with reservations!
