Love this Mediterranean spot! I've been here a handful of times & always have a great meal! On Wednesdays, we wear pink & get the 50% Off wine!! Love the chill vibe & yummy food! Hookah in the patio! Couldn't ask for more! The restaurant is pretty much all patio for the hooka enjoyers! I don't normally like being around smoke, but the hooka didn't bother me. Sometimes it smelled really good! The food is delicious! I usually get a plate that comes with rice, salad, and choice of 2 sides. The garlic spread is so yum!! The baba ganoush is so creamy! My favorite meat from here is the chicken, it's so flavorful and not dry at all. The other meats were a bit dry. The hummus with beef is so delicious! The beef in here was super tender! The pine nuts gave a great bit of crunch. The pita bread is super soft and yum! It's a bigger than usual size too. The parking is great! They have a small lot and street parking as needed. I saw some good lunch specials but didn't get all the details. Service is really great each time. Definitely recommended! read more

So much to talk about. Keep in mind, it's been awhile since I've been in a hookah place. Mostly tables, it was a nice environment with tables and chairs, no lounging area but great food. We were able to eat, drink, while working on some stuff on our laptop. The hookah was regularly managed by one guy and the service for food was amazing. Our waitress consistently checked on us and confirmed we had everything we needed. Extremely friendly and the food filled with tons of flavor. Highly recommend! Decent portions. I have gone to Cafe X20 many times and love the food so I said let me order some for a small dinner party of 10people. I spoke to someone who said if you order 1 family feast it is enough to feed 6 people. I said ok let me order 2 then. I paid over $200 for the smallest portions ever. The food I received was not enough for 6 people let alone 10 with 2x the amount ordered. I had people coming over so I had to door dash more food form somewhere else paying more. I am highly disappointed. Do better Cafe X2o this is not ok! Please look at this picture this is 2 family meals plus 2 trays of rice and kebabs. I called to let them know and their reply was well it depends on your consumption? No apologies no let's make it right just saying it will feed 10 people. read more

This restaurant was highly recommend to me by my brother recently. So this was our first time ordering here and the food was phenomenal. We ordered takeout because I was not in the mood to cook and we wanted to treat ourselves. We are all vegan and it is normally a headache the first time but I prepared ahead of time, and ordered 3 falafel plates. Each comes with enough food and the price is warranted. It is 5 crispy falafels with tahini, yummy salad, ridiculously delicious pilaf rice, pita bread, and choice of 2 sides. We all did grilled vegetables (tomato & pepper/chili), 2- hummus and 1- baba ganoush. The best way I can describe the food is "home cooking", it does not have that impersonal taste that most restaurants have even if their food is delicious. All the staff was courteous and gracious, in particular Rosie chatted with me and gave me some recommendations for future orders. The ordering process was seamless, the wait was minimal, and the food came out piping hot; really a great culinary experience. I highly recommend this establishment. I recently discovered the Monrovia location. I was looking for a late night spot to eat (after 9:30) and stumbled upon Cafe X20 via Google. I was so excited not just because I was hungry but when I pulled up it was busy full of lively conversation playing cool tuned and the menu was significant. Mediterranean food of every type. We had beef, lamb, and chicken kabobs. All moist and juicy the rice is flavorful and moist and the Tzaziki and humus were the best I have tasted. Both were fresh and the Tzaziki had the perfect zing. Full bar selections made the a great choice. The offer hookah but the not a bit of lingering smoke because of great screened windows and super ventilation. I'm going back tonight. This will be a regular spot. Reasonable pricing and generous portions round out Cafe X20. read more

This is an AWESOME Mediterranean eatery in Monrovia. I eat a lot of Mediterranean food already as I work in Glendale/NoHo, and there are a lot of amazing Mediterranean eateries there, but, Cafe X20 is at the same caliber as some of the other places that I've been to. We had the Cold Appetizer Sampler, which included Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Cheese, Dolmas, and Tabouleh - all my favs! With the cold appetizer, we ordered a variety of kebabs, including Lamb, Kefta, Chicken, and Steak. Their kebabs were ridiculously amazing. The flavor on all of them was so moist and juicy. I'm particular about chicken kebabs, because a lot of the times they come out to dry and I end up having to dip them in some type of hummus in order to mask the dryness, but I didn't need to do that here. This place is also a hookah joint. We didn't get a chance to try it (wasn't in the mood as we came here at 12PM for lunch), but I definitely would like to come back here in the evening for a nice relaxed hang out with friends including food, drinks, and hookah. read more

Overall.. food was okay but the chicken could have been cooked longer. It was barely edible.

The ambiance is super chill and relaxing here. Whether that be during lunch or an evening with friends. Came here with a couple friends and the food was delicious! I got the Chicken Shawarma Plate. Make sure to ask for hot sauce if you like it spicy. Shout out to our server Rola who provided excellent service and made sure me and my friends were taken care of. read more

The bathrooms are disgusting. The food isn't the best. And I wanted a little feta cheese on my salad and the waiter said he can bring me a side of it for my salad but I was charged $7 for a HUGE bowl of cheese and I added a sprinkle of it lol. read more

Me and my friend wanted to smoke hookah last night. We usually go to cloud99(still good) but he wants to show me this place. So we met around 10:30pm and we started to order and smoke hookah! What's good here? Drink 5/5 They have hard liquor. Or if you don't feel to drink, then you can order other non alcohols beverages.(many selections) Inside 5/5 It's just tables with enough wide space. So, you can whisper quietly or joke loudly! It felt like in real free place. Parking 5/5 They have an own parking space. Seems like a lot of street parking around there. Service 5/5 All staffs were so friendly. They know and take care regular customers really well. Great customer service. No complaints. I'll bring all my friends here soon. read more

I have always loved mediterranean food. With that being said- Cafe Xoxo provides a super chill vibe complete with Hookah ! I usually get the family feast and everything is just so fresh and so super delicious! Super legit and very fair priced. The girls who are running the take out are always super friendly ! What an amazing spot! Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing hookah!!!! Rola and Juan "hookahd" it up! Their hookah setup is sooooo easy on the lungs and lasts forever. I often see folks spending entire afternoons in this restaurant, treating it as an office away from work / home. What a respite! I an a culinary school graduate and have sampled a number of Mediterranean / Lebanese restaurants in the area and this one is BY FAR the best! The rice alone, served under a bed of grilled veggies and aromatic kebab meats, is worthy of award. The ambiance takes you to a luxurious sunroom, lit by atmospheric lanterns and against a backdrop of lively music that makes me want to get up and dance. We discovered a very nice modern Mediterranean restaurant with exceptionally great food and excellent customer service. That's what you're looking for when you go to restaurants great food and great customer service. Went there for dinner, had the chicken kebab plate with hummus and garlic paste as of my sides for myself and my friend had lamb chops plate with spicy lebni and hummus. let me tell ya the flavors are out of this world and amazing. July 21, 2017 The quality of food has honestly gone down. My brother brought the family, including our cousin who is visiting from Taiwan to try this place out for her first experience. Well...i'm very dissatisfied. Sorry, but why is the pita so thin? Maybe it's the pregnancy, but the flavor is now meh... In all honesty, the pita is way too thin! It's like two sheets of printer paper. I'll try again soon...but the PITA! read more
