Clean and bright Vietnamese coffeeshop located in the same plaza as the Lion Market grocery store. Stopped in and picked up a drink/dessert/che and petite banh mi sandwich (comes with 2 finger-sized sandwiches). I chose the Vietnamese pannacotta with lychee (highlt recommended) and the Combo sandwich (filling was a bit pungent and overly salty). It was a refreshing drink/dessert and snack pairing nonetheless for a summer snack while I was in the area. Sweet drink vs. Salty/Savory/Strong sandwich. Free wifi with a several spots for seating along the wall/window. Unfortunately there weren't really any electric wall outlets to plug in and recharge here.

The banh mi was flavorful, but thinner compared to traditional banh mi's. It was a light snack that will not leave you feeling full. The sandwich came with Vietnamese pork roll, pâté, pork floss, and bits of dried shrimp. It didn't include vegetables, which is different from the typical banh mi that includes pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, and cilantro. The pandan coffee was rich, sweet, and creamy. However, I wish the coffee had been stronger to enhance its boldness.

I love the variety of cà phê sữa đá here! I've been here on multiple occasions and they never fail to keep me caffeinated all day. I've tried their cà phê muối (salt coffee), cà phê trứng (egg coffee), and cà phê lá dứa (pandan coffee). The cream tops and flavors here are strong but not overwhelming so my cà phê is still fragrant! Their cà phê sữa đá is small but mighty as it has a thicker consistency, diluting very well. I personally like the thicker consistency of the drinks because it has a stronger flavor too. Drinks are made quickly and I never have to wait for any longer than 5 minutes. The store itself is clean and spacious with a handful of tables and long booth. I highly recommend coming here but be sure to drink your drinks early as the caffeine here is super strong.

I was in Lion Plaza and I noticed Cafes Quan close to Lion Market. I've been meaning to check them out. Parking is definitely better off hours in this plaza. The interior is nicely decorated and also seasonally decorated for Lunar New Year! A few tables and window stools to sit at. One unisex restroom only. Unfortunately, I was unable to try their sandwiches, but decided to get one of their drinks. Banana Matcha Einspanner (4/5). The banana foam was delicious and was a nice combination with the Matcha. Eat the cookie early unless you leave it in a break and stir it into your drink. Maybe that's the way. The drink was good but had too much ice in it and kinda pricey. I'll be back to try their banh mi and other drinks. Come support your local business.

Cafes Quan really knows how to make their viet coffee just right. We started off our Christmas morning with a nice iced cup of craft coffee & some delicious mini banh mi! Cafes Quan really knows how to decorate for the holidays. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by a HUGE, beautiful Christmas tree! We ordered the Mini Pork Floss and the Mini Pate bani mi. The bread is toasted to perfection. It has a great crunch on the outside but is still soft and fluffy on the inside. Paired with the savory pate, each rich bite will leave you wanting more. For coffee, we got the black coffee with coconut milk, Ube coffee, egg coffee, and coconut coffee. They all were a lovely dark roast. My favorite was the coconuts coffee because they add toasted coconut chips on top. Kudos to our cashier who was really patient with us while we kept changing our order because everything sounded so good!

I'd say it's a bit on the pricey end, but coffee in general is around $7 now. I asked what their bestseller was and order exactly that. The salted coffee was strong, the salty was concentrated in the cream top. I feel like you need to fix/let the coffee diffuse a bit otherwise it will just be strong. I enjoyed my drink! It was what I needed for a quick pick me up -- would come again to try their ube and other drinks!

Stopped by San Jose for some Vietnamese food and stumbled upon Cafes Quan, right as they were celebrating their 1-year anniversary with a special deal: $3.65 per drink for 365 days open -- love a good promo! We had already eaten breakfast at the nearby food court, but the aesthetic and vibe of this place immediately caught our attention. Ended up grabbing two drinks: - Chrysanthemum Longan Tea -- super refreshing herbal tea with floating longan fruit, chia seeds, and delicate chrysanthemum petals; light, floral, and perfect for cooling down - Salted Coffee -- stunning layered look with whipped cream on top and strong Vietnamese coffee below; rich, creamy, and bold with that signature kick The space is bright and modern with a clean black & white interior. One of the standout features is the wall art -- a series of unique sketches blending Parisian cafe vibes with Vietnamese charm: think bicycles, tea cups, berets, and towering coffee mugs. There are several two-seater tables plus bar seating along the window, ideal for catching up or solo work. Service was warm and friendly, and our drinks came out fast. Plenty of parking available in the surrounding plaza. They also serve banh mi and waffles, which I'll definitely be back for. Can't wait to return for my next Vietnamese coffee fix!

Parking is easy, space is ample, service is quick. Music is blasting but if you're into it, you're into it. We opted for the popular drinks: the egg coffee and the salted coffee. Both were good! The salted coffee was definitely the winner between the two. We'd return and would recommend if you're in the area.

This was our first time at Cafes Quan. It was easy to find and parking was great! The shop was very bright, open and airy. There's plenty of seating available to sit and enjoy your drinks! The girl took our order. The Croc Waffles machine was broken. Bummed. So we just ordered drinks. We ordered the Banana Cream Matcha & Egg Coffee. Both drinks came in cute cups and looked amazing! They both didn't disappoint. My Egg Coffee was creamy and strong, just the way I like it! Next time we're in town, we'll be sure to go back! 10/10

I was extremely impressed after I got their pandan latte - strong Vietnamese coffee topped off with real pandan extract. I could tell they blended real pandan extract from the grassy aftertaste of the coffee. Came back to get it and they changed their recipe... It is now a pandan milk latte with pandan flavoring. However, I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for just one small bánh mì. After waiting that long, I finally went up to ask about my order. Only then did the employee hand it to me. Apparently, my order had already been ready for quite some time, but no one bothered to call my number or let me know. Waiting is understandable when a restaurant is busy, but having a completed order sitting there while the customer continues waiting is very frustrating. Combined with the unfriendly attitude and poor customer service, this was a very disappointing experience. Good customer service is not just about making the food--it is also about communicating with customers and treating them with basic courtesy. I really hope the management provides better customer service training moving forward.

I've been to other Rose Tea Lounge locations and I'd say that this one is definitely more club-like than others. When I paid, I noticed I was charged $8.25--a .75 difference. I was a bit surprised and realized they hadn't updated the menu to reflect the price change. The tea itself was good--nice and soothing--but honestly, not worth $8.25. I really hope they update the menu so customers aren't caught off guard. The drink has no chrysanthemum flavor at all, tastes just water and barely has any tea. I went on a Thursday afternoon and theres barely any customers in the store but its take them 15 minutes to make the drink. The sea salt coffee is just coffee and condensed milk, just a regular cà phê sữa đá but named as salted coffee. I tried some of my partner's milk tea drink as well. The items are really colorful and eye-catching, but the flavors are really light and could definitely use some improvement. Overall, Uju's is okay, and would be lower on the list amongst all the different boba/snack shops in the area.

What I did not anticipate was how annoying it would be to get 24 people to actually respond and send me their orders on time. Apparently, getting married was easier than getting everyone to pick a sandwich and a drink. I finally gave everyone a hard Wednesday night deadline, collected all the orders, and walked into Arome Cafe the next day, just two days before my wedding, with an order for 24 meals and 24 drinks, along with very specific instructions about the pickup time and exactly who would be picking everything up. Needless to say, I was probably giving off some slightly stressed-out bride energy. And then there was Hannah. Hannah was absolutely amazing. She patiently went through everything with me, made sure every single order was entered correctly, confirmed all of the pickup details, and even took the extra time to write everyone's names on their individual food items so there wouldn't be any confusion on the wedding day. With 24 different people and orders, that small detail made such a huge difference. On a morning when there were a million things happening at once, Hannah and Arome Cafe were one thing I simply did not have to worry about. Everything was ready, organized, and exactly as we had discussed. Hannah, you were truly a quiet angel in the middle of our chaotic wedding morning, and I will always be grateful for how kind and helpful you were during a week when my brain was being pulled in about 500 different directions. And, of course, the food and drinks were amazing! Despite it being such a massive order, the quality was completely on point. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with the same care you would expect from a much smaller order. Thank you, Hannah, for being so patient, organized, and genuinely kind. You probably had no idea how much taking care of something as simple as lunch meant to a bride two days before her wedding, but it was one less thing I had to think about, and at that point, that meant everything P.S. To the owners of Arome Cafe: I think Hannah deserves a raise. Seriously.

Came at July 16 at 11:35am, and ordered 2 pastas and a salad. Theres was only one other singular customer in the entire restaurant who looked like she's already been there a while and was already sitting down when we came in, and 30 minutes flew (which is the end of our lunch break) and that customer just got her food. So imagine how long it took for our food to come out 40+ minutes. I'm not mad about it at all but I was just genuinely so confused. Because it took 40+ mins our 2 pastas came out way before my salad. Even stopping by the crowded starbucks, all 4 of our drinks came out, and we had time to sit and chat and come back and our food was still not ready. I was so so lost about how my salad took so much time when it was just lettuce, proscuitto, and eggs. Compared to TWO whole pastas with chicken and bread. But they also forgot the bread that came out with it. I was actually just confused because the place was practically empty as well. The salad was really average however the pasta was too hard, needed to be boiled way longer, and just did not taste good unfortunately. I rarely give any one stars so this says a lot :( Would not return and should've went to the other spots in the plaza for lunch.

This particular fruit isn't too common, hence, it's why I will get it if it's available whether it be as a juice or in this case, as a smoothie. This place also has lots of other diverse Vietnamese desserts and lots of drink options like smoothies, milk tea, coffee, and juice. The service was fantastic. I enjoyed my experience here.

All ice! 3/5 Looked at the receipt and they added a merch fee 3% to the total?! Are they tipping themselves? Probably won't come back.

It's a Banh Mi deli plus a bakery, but we were on a mission to get JUST sesame balls! They had two kinds to choose from - red bean or mung bean, and we did an 18 ct of red bean (excessive?? Possibly. But it was vacation!). I was so excited because they looked and smelled fantastic! However, I was disappointed that I didn't get much of a pull from the dough nor was there a lot of filling on the inside (it was extremely sparse). The flavor did not lack though - the sesame taste was PERFECT (heavy for a normal person, not for me though!), but I wanted more of the filling to balance that heavy sesame taste. The ladies running the shop were your true Vietnamese aunties who were gabbing it up with the regulars, and were sweet to my friend and I (who again, were on a mission for one thing!). Overall, I'd come back to try the Banh Mi and the rice-based desserts.
