I visited here at 10:30 and there was no line. As soon as I got to the register, the person taking orders took a phone call and excused herself. I waited in front for about 10 mins and left to go around the corner to buy sugarcane. After I came back, it seemed she was available to take my order. I order the salted coffee. The coffee was very dense and a little bitter. Overall great coffee but horrible service. read more

First off, beware of the hidden credit card fees. It came out to ~4%. The cashier did not inform me of that. And I only realized after I saw the total was so high. Came out to $9.32 for one tiny egg coffee! I get that Vietnamese coffees have tons of ice. But this was way over the top -- the cup was 80% ice. The whole drink was gone in about 2 seconds. :( Worst part, the egg cream didn't even taste rich or eggy .. just overly sweet and cinnamon heavy. Definitely not my first choice and won't be back. I only ended up here because I had lunch in the Lion plaza and my favorite Vietnamese coffee spot La Caphe is unfortunately temporarily closed for renovations. read more

New coffee shop in the Lions plaza off Tully Road. It's a cute cafe love the Deco. I got the special going on right now with two drinks, sandwich and bag for $15. I got the salted coffee and sea salt green tea and combo banh mi que combo. I had the salted coffee and it was yummy! Right amount of kick and sweet and super creamy. I can't comment on the second drink as it was for my coworker. The sando was a really really mini banh mi, but still ok. Would have been nice to have the pickle veggies in it. I get it it's tiny to fit it all. At any rate love the new shop and will be my new coffee stop. read more

My parents tried this place and thought it was pretty good, so they bought a couple of drinks and banh mi que's for me to try. I believe there was a combo (not sure if it's a limited time thing) of any 2 drinks and a banh mi que for $15! I really like their egg coffee, and I would even say that I might like it more than Tram's -- although I wish it came with coffee jelly bits. I also got a chrysanthemum tea with longan and thought it was alright. Chrysanthemum is a pretty light tea, so I expected to taste more of the longan, but I felt like I tasted more of the sugar content, so I probably wouldn't get this drink again. I tried three types of banh mi que and liked the special combination one the most. Definitely gotta check out this place in person soon! read more

When I visited this coffee shop, the ambiance was very chic, but I couldn't help but notice a child running around in the kitchen/behind the counter sticking his hands in the ice machine and playing with the ice, which felt inappropriate and concerning. As for the drinks, the CQ signature, Bac Xiu, and Ube Coffee were so sweet that I had to drink water after every sip. Yes, I adjusted the sweetness but it was just too much! You can give it a try, but personally, I'd recommend checking out some of the other great local coffee spots in the area. read more

New drink shop in town! The Lion plaza is a staple when it comes to Vietnamese goods and foods so glad to see another face in the game. Cafe Quan has a cool open space - love the architecture and how open it is. Super cool how they have a middle couch area and a couple small tables. They have a variety of Vietnamese coffees (mandatory for a Vietnamese shop), teas, sandwiches - you name it. We ordered two coffees - egg coffee & pandan coffee and two teas - oolong milk tea & sea salt green tea. My favorite milk tea is oolong so I have had my fair share and let me tell you. Hands down the best oolong milk tea I've had so far. Strong fragrant tea flavor and super creamy. I usually don't drink coffee but in my opinion both coffees were really good. I have the same sentiment towards the coffees - super creamy and strong in flavor. All drinks are on the sweeter side if you don't requests for adjustments. The people supporting us in front were so sweet. They were very insistent that if we didn't like the sweetness they could adjust it for us. Great service and great drinks! read more

This has become one of my go-to places for Vietnamese coffee, and the jasmine milk tea here is also very good as well. Be aware that the drinks are a little on the small side (especially considering how much ice they come with!), but the flavor and creamy texture is perfect. There's a $15 combo for any two drinks and one bánh mì which is a pretty good deal. The bánh mì is very small though, so I wouldn't recommend it at full price. Kind of loud inside, so I wouldn't come here to study or work. read more

First time been here & I ordered signature drink "Lotus Macchiato Tea" 50% sugar, it comes with salted cheese on top. However, I feel like its a little light sweet for me, it has tea flavor, but se cream doesn't taste salty at all compared to other place. Just one thing I'm suprised they don't have any boba at all at that time around 1:30pm, so I got grass jelly instead. The signature tea kinda pricey for small size and one size only. Overall, they have nice decorations and nice service. Hopefully they will have better drink in the near future. read more

The coffee was strong, which was great, just a tad too strong for me personally though. The flavor was nice with a subtle ube hint, though it had a slight floral aftertaste. They did pack in a lot of ice but I didn't check if you can ask for less, but I'd go for that if it's an option. IMO.... Was super excited to try the banh mi Que here. Filling is perfect, but the bread! the bread was not good. It was basic baguette that you could get at Safeway. Vietnamese baguette is suppose to be super airy with a nice crunch on the outside. The texture of the bread here is way off. If they could get duc Huong to make mini baguettes and deliver to them so they can make their sandwiches, it would be heavenly. Even Lee's sandwiches bread is better than this one. The coffee is ok as well. Overall, if they can get their bread in line, I would come back just for that. At this point in time, I would not recommend their sandwiches and their coffee is not good enough for me to come back. Give them a try yourself! Hopefully the manager can do taste test and get the bread to be the true french/vietnamese baguette. read more

Brand new spot with a bright future ahead of it From the get-go, service was friendly and welcoming; you can't say that about half of comparable coffee spots. As a new place, I haven't tried much yet, but starting with a staple, the coconut coffee is an absolute dream. It's one of the few places that has a creamy yet fluid coconut coffee, as many coffee shops blend theirs instead for a more smoothie/frostie texture. (Which is wonderful, but when I want coffee, I really want my drink to be reminiscent of coffee!) And this drink delivers a smooth, bright experience with the right amount of bitterness and sweetness, with the added texture experience of coconut flakes. My only complaint is that the cup was quite small for $7.50 plus tax; I would have loved a bit more. The bread was wam and crunch on the outside without it being too hard or crunchy, and the sandwich was perfectly balanced with jalapeños, tons of freshly pickled veggies inside on top of the pork (or mushrooms in the veggie version) with a touch of mayo/aioli you can't go wrong with anything your order here. Just be ready to wait in line and pay attention to the counter display outside. The line moves fast! Ambience is as busy as the best deli in nyc you will see. When I came in to place my order, the female employee who took my order seemed very unfriendly and had a noticeably unpleasant attitude. I understand that everyone can have a bad day or may be dealing with something in their personal life, so I tried not to take it personally. However, I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for just one small bánh mì. After waiting that long, I finally went up to ask about my order. Only then did the employee hand it to me. Apparently, my order had already been ready for quite some time, but no one bothered to call my number or let me know. Waiting is understandable when a restaurant is busy, but having a completed order sitting there while the customer continues waiting is very frustrating. Combined with the unfriendly attitude and poor customer service, this was a very disappointing experience. Good customer service is not just about making the food--it is also about communicating with customers and treating them with basic courtesy. I really hope the management provides better customer service training moving forward.

When I paid, I noticed I was charged $8.25--a .75 difference. I was a bit surprised and realized they hadn't updated the menu to reflect the price change. I went on a Thursday afternoon and theres barely any customers in the store but its take them 15 minutes to make the drink. This plaza has a variety selection of restaurants like spartan's tacos, mcdonald's, pizza my heart,…read morele boulanger, honey berry, panda express, but I've never tried this place before so we gave it a go. Came at July 16 at 11:35am, and ordered 2 pastas and a salad. Theres was only one other singular customer in the entire restaurant who looked like she's already been there a while and was already sitting down when we came in, and 30 minutes flew (which is the end of our lunch break) and that customer just got her food. So imagine how long it took for our food to come out 40+ minutes. I'm not mad about it at all but I was just genuinely so confused. Because it took 40+ mins our 2 pastas came out way before my salad. Even stopping by the crowded starbucks, all 4 of our drinks came out, and we had time to sit and chat and come back and our food was still not ready. I was so so lost about how my salad took so much time when it was just lettuce, proscuitto, and eggs. Compared to TWO whole pastas with chicken and bread. But they also forgot the bread that came out with it. I was actually just confused because the place was practically empty as well. The salad was really average however the pasta was too hard, needed to be boiled way longer, and just did not taste good unfortunately. I rarely give any one stars so this says a lot :( Would not return and should've went to the other spots in the plaza for lunch.

This particular fruit isn't too common, hence, it's why I will get it if it's available whether it be as a juice or in this case, as a smoothie. This place also has lots of other diverse Vietnamese desserts and lots of drink options like smoothies, milk tea, coffee, and juice. The service was fantastic. I enjoyed my experience here.

Obviously, there was more ice than coffee! 2/5 Sea salt foam cafe - nice, creamy foam and strong coffee, but like the cafe au lait, drink was gone within minutes. All ice! 3/5 Looked at the receipt and they added a merch fee 3% to the total?! Are they tipping themselves? Probably won't come back.
