I would give it a 3.5! Environment: a good amount of seats in the area (airport). We did the touch screen option to order our food but you can also order at the front, too. Dad and I ordered 2 kinds of paninis to share so we could try two more flavors! I got a chicken pesto and it was very juicy. The ham and dijon mustard was nice, too. What a disappointment when I opened it up three hours later and found four pieces of the pre-cooked bacon in there paper thin, I never in my life would've paid $15 for this. The ordering process was kind of weird. They have kiosks where you can place your own order on the machine and pay there, and then they call your name in the pickup area when it's ready. But they also have a service counter where they were calling people to come up past the kiosks so I was a little thrown off but I ordered from them. They were nice and had my drink out quick! I got the iced eggnog latte with an extra shot and it was decent. I think they cut their eggnog with milk, so in the future I'd ask for it uncut. Eggnog taste was light, but overall it was good and the caffeine did it's job. There's table seating and counter style seating with plug-ins for chargers which was nice because I needed to charge my stuff in order to hop on my meeting. Needed food before flight, pleasantly surprised with the cheese pizza we ordered. The pizza was actually made starting with sauce and cheese added to the dough and then baked (vs. reheating pre-cooked). Baking was quick, less than 5 minutes. The 10" pizza (the only option) kept the two of us satiated through the flight and beyond. Pizza was good, not great, and as noted...better than expected. 3 stars if served at a pizzeria. So, I ended up waiting in line for 5 mins, nobody in front of me or behind just me but still had to wait, they didn't seem to care that order desk is empty. On top of this I asked for cold iced latte with vanilla and soy milk and it was $1.12 extra for each so total $2.24 extra which is insane for such a small ask. I arrived at gate N earlier then predicted and I wanted a drink. I ordered their strawberry and mango smoothie 12oz through the line that went pretty fast in my experience. After siting for about 3min, they called my name and my order in the other side far left of the store. The strawberry flavor dominated with some mango on the side. This location is newish in Terminal N, the staff are customer focused, there is decent amount of seating around the coffee shop and it is very welcoming. The styling is somewhat modern which matches the terminal décor. It is easy to find and there is plenty of nearby waiting area seating with phone chargers (something you won't find in the other terminals A-D. We ordered a personal Hawaiian pizza and some drinks (coffee and an iced tea). The drinks were to us quickly and in about 5 minutes, so was the pizza. A special call out to the staff. They continued to take orders as they closed at 9. I never saw them turn anyone away but always told everyone they were closing and suggested they move on once they received their orders in a friendly way! The pizza looked good on paper. The pizza looked good in the box. Unfortunately, the pizza didn't taste as good as it looked. I had my eyes on this Italian eatery earlier this year while I was trying to decide where to have an early dinner before my flight back home. That was back in January, well before I knew I'd be up here again just a month and a half later. Caffe D'arte is located at SeaTac Airport's North Satellite Terminal by Gate N13. They are directly across from Skillet and Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen. There is ample seating in front of the counter, and there are signs that say these seats are for customers only. The dining tables there also have outlets that you can use to charge your electronic device(s) while you are enjoying your meal there. They have a pretty extensive menu that includes pizzas, pasta, salads, sandwiches, and even coffee! Honestly, I was walking back and forth across various eateries trying to decide which restaurant to do business with, and then deciding which menu item(s) to select. I had such a difficult time deciding, and for whatever reason, the D'arte Speciale was calling my name. After reading the description, it sounded like a supreme pizza that would contain everything but the kitchen sink. Well, maybe not everything, but it seemed the most appetizing to me. The line to order wraps around a cart full of various snacks, and I grabbed a couple bags of chips before arriving at the order counter to tell Jackie that I also wanted a Caffe D'arte pizza. There is a $2 upcharge for a cauliflower crust, and I went with that thinking it'd be as good as the frozen cauliflower crust pizzas I've had before. The menu states that their pizzas are 10" in diameter. I asked Jackie how long the wait would be, and she said it'd be 5 minutes before my pizza would be ready. Only 5 minutes? Not bad! I would have guessed double that because at BYO pizza places, I'd have to wait about 10 minutes, but then again, Caffe D'arte is not a BYO place, so it would be rather foolish of me to be comparing this airport pizza shop with MOD, Pieology, and Blaze. The wait was indeed 5 minutes before my name was called out. I was sitting at a table directly in front of the order counter because there was sanitizer next to the tablets, and I wanted to squirt some on my hands before feasting on what I was hoping would be a decent pizza. Unfortunately, it was only half-decent at best, and that's me being generous. As soon as I picked up the first slice of pizza, the slice was so flimsy that most of the cheese and toppings fell off and onto the rest of the pizza. Better than dropping on the floor at least, but that was quite the disappointment. This is one of those rare times when I'd say it could have been better to eat the pizza cold instead, but I continued to press on, hoping that maybe the remaining slices would still taste good. With so many toppings listed on the menu, I thought the pizza would taste fabulous, but it did not. The pizza as a whole was quite bland, and none of the toppings, even the cheese, added much flavor, if at all. Maybe it would have tasted better had I not gone for the cauliflower crust upcharge, but if I were to make a return visit, I'd probably try one of their pastas or sandwiches instead. I'm glad I tried this place, but I just don't recommend it at all whatsoever. It's one of a few eateries at the N Concourse, which you'd need the SEA Underground to get to, and that's unfortunate because the main terminal has a much wider variety of restaurants to cater to all different types of cuisines. I'd be open to trying Caffe D'arte's pastas or sandwiches if my next flight out of SeaTac is also at an N gate, but I'm definitely not setting high expectations after such a disappointing pizza! No joke, but I actually decided to go to Bambuza afterwards to try something that could make me forget about that lackluster pie. After eating my first slice, I realized I forgot to get napkins, and I went up to Jackie to ask for some. She told me they were at the opposite end of the counter, which was quite a long walk! Seriously?! I had to leave my phone *and* my pizza unattended just so I could fetch napkins? Super lame! Even more of a reason to not get a pizza here. Why not just make napkins readily available at the counter or even at the dining tables instead of making customers walk all the way to the other side?? Overall, not a fan. I like pizza better than salad, but this pizza was worse than the salmon salad from Skillet. I really hope my next flight out of SeaTac won't be at the N Concourse; otherwise, I'm going to have to pick something up before boarding the SEA Underground. read more

The Italian Grinder came out piping hot, it had a nice meat to veggie ratio and there was a nice crunch to every bite from all the lettuce. I'm actually pretty surprised by the quality of the concessions in N considering all the marketing hype before it was built out. Bad Egg was actually really well named and tonight was my second attempt since I didn't get a C gate for my connection back to PDX. I didn't want to carry a large box onboard so I got the three-cheese toasted sandwich to avoid sauces but it's literally just two slices of toast with cheddar, jack and I presume something else I can't taste on it for $15. It includes a 1 oz bag of Tim's potato chips that didn't make me feel vindicated at all for spending that much. It was served hot, and it was good toast with cheese, but nothing anyone couldn't easily make at home. While I realize I wasn't at home, I can say it very much validated the reputation of the airport monopoly on your choice to price ratio. At the very least, it's nice to know I can find something simple to eat that won't cause me distress mid-flight. Knowing I'm trapped at the N concourse, nonetheless, still fills me with anxiety and this place does nothing to ease that. They need to bring Hachiko here! It's SEA's only hope. read more

With slim pickings in terminal N, I made a quick decision to use the ordering kiosk and decided on a mocha frappe and chicken Caesar salad. I figured I couldn't go wrong with this pretty simple order. My total was $27.80. To be honest, everything was disgusting. My Caesar salad was a nice big serving, but the chicken was barely edible. The frappe had a nasty taste to it.. how could a FRAPPE be bad...? My friend got a oat milk latte and said it was horrible as well. We stopped here to grab something to eat while on a layover. We looked at the online menu using their QR code which we appreciated. My wife was able to see they offered a cauliflower crust pizza, in fact you can have any of their pizzas using a cauliflower or rice crust. I ordered their meatball sandwich and we were tempted to try one of their blueberry scones which looked delicious. Once our order was taken we waited for approximately 7-10 minutes until our order was ready. We were able to find a table to sit at and enjoy our meal. Located in the N terminal of SEA, this is not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat. I got the hawaiian pizza ($15) and caramel frappe (~$5). Not the best pizza ever, but not the worst. I wish there was more pizza sauce, since it was quite dry and plain with mostly cheese and crust. The crust was good - very thin and crispy! The ham and pineapples were alright; very standard. I think they might have been canned pineapples. The caramel frappe was really good; rich, sweet and creamy. I've been here several times before and depending what I order they have been both good and ok. But today was the unacceptable worst experience. Most likely I'll think twice before I consider to drop by here again. I ordered a hot zen matcha tea. I also ordered my daughter a hot oat milk coffee latte. I took a small sip and burned my lips. It was scorching HOT. My lips felt tender and sensitive when I pressed them together. I waited a full 30 minutes before boarding my flight to try to take a sip of my hot tea and it was still hot but of course not scorching like the first sip. I didn't bother to drink much anyway as my lips were still sensitive. I feel that the barista was careless with the temperature of the hot water. What if it were a child having hot chocolate? 5 stars for airport food? In this case, yes. Several observations come into play here. First, this place is in the newly remodeled N Concourse at SeaTac airport, so it's very clean. They were also very organized and the line, while was scary long at first, moved quickly. Since it was 8 am, most people were ordering coffee, I wanted breakfast, but I also love pizza and was happy to see they serve all menu items any time they are open. A huge plus. As I said, the line moved quickly, but I did try to mobile order. Unfortunately, this particular location wasn't accepting mobile orders at the time. Kind of a bummer to find that out after scanning the big QR code at the end of the line. Still, I'm not sure it would have been that much quicker by the time I entered my credit card info. The pizza was pretty good, although a bit greasy. Don't forget to pick up napkins when you pick up your food as I did. The pepperoni was delish and the pizza filled me up enough that I couldn't finish it. Considering the rest of the terminal had little seating for the number of passengers, there was plenty inside the Caffe. I like their long tables with power outlets for single people. I can honestly say it was a good experience. If I'm ever here again, I would probably return to try some more food. read more

And I mean BUSY. With long lines everywhere - especially at the coffee stands. So I proceeded to the N Satellite and found a slightly shorter (and moving much faster) line at Caffe D'Arte. Phew! In fact, it was darned impressive how fast they were moving people through to get their bevs and morning snacks. Only a few minutes after joining the long line I was ordering, and a few minutes after that I had my vanilla oat milk latte in hand. Bonus: is delicious!
