They have rice milk...need I say more? They charge a fair amount extra for it and since I buy it on a regular basis from Whole Foods, I know it's just the same price as soy milk (yet they charge more). Not a fan of that. Ugh sooo upset!! thought this place was cute so I wanted to give it a try... but when I ordered a coffee I asked if they had creamer and guess what, no creamer! So then I decided to get oatmilk and sugar and it was just black coffee that was handed to me. Not much to say about this place, but it was all around a good little coffee shop. The only reason my wife and I made a stop here was because it is situated very close to the hotel we stayed at in Queen Anne. It's location is actually pretty neat as it sits right across from a cool little park-type place. The service here was friendly, we didn't order much. I just had their drip coffee while my wife had a great looking cup of hot chocolate. Our drinks were nothing out of this world but very solid indeed. The free wi-fi was the nail in the coffin for us, and of course we wanted to try something local instead of hopping back onto the Starbucks mothership. I'd recommend to try this place out to see what you think, not because of amazing quality of beverage but for a change in scenery. And, you can't go wrong with a nice little neighborhood coffee shop that offers some good drinks and free wi-fi. read more

Cafe Ladro has really stepped up there game in the last year or two. I used to spend time at the 15th Ave location. I liked their breakfast food, but was not a fan of their mediocre coffee. While the service at this location was not that great, the coffee was great. High score for coffee, low score for service, A-OK aver all. Yesterday, I was meeting some friends at Toulouse Petit and I had arrived in Queen Anne a half hour early. I looked around for a close coffee shop, and Ladro was the only thing I saw. While I was not excited about going to Ladro, it was the only option; it was either that or sit the restaurant lobby for a half hour. There was a long line when I arrived at Ladro, so after waiting a couple of minutes, went to the rest room to wash my hands. The guy looked at me with suspension, but gave me a bathroom key and told me where it was. When I came back to no line, and three people standing around chatting with a older man pick-up his finished drink. I stood at the counter for 2 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me; I didn't want to break up their conversation. Finally, one barrista broke away, only to take the order of some lady who just came in and was standing adjacent to me. It was only after he had taken her order, did he ask me what I wanted. This Caffe Ladro location is by far the best. The baristas are fun and friendly. They chat with customers, but not so much that it will hold up a line. Kevin and the shorter blonde especially make my day every time I come in. There are only a couple of larger tables (for four) and a few double seaters, and I often can't get a seat. The table right underneath the AC unit is the best during the summer! Love the flavored lattes--never too sweet. The ginger green tea is worth a try too! If you're a frequent visitor, definitely get the coffee card. Every 10 drinks you get a 2 free! read more

Same loud-talkers hanging out every day. Music is 50% loud crap: even with headphones, you still feel like you've somehow been forced to shop at Abercrombie (as another Yelp reviewer so accurately said below). Pros: bustling, high-energy ambiance, good coffee, decent Wi-Fi signal strength. Cons: a little small, almost zero outlets for laptop users, and too many of the tables are the little round, unstable types. Parking is almost all paid parking in the neighborhood. I love their coffee and the Ladro card is such a nice perk. My only complaint is a little petty: I get a discount for working in the neighbourhood, it's only on drinks and that's totally fine. Despite there being many other coffee shops in the neighborhood, I find myself going to Ladro before work every morning. The morning crew is usually very friendly and easy to have a conversation with. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because when I go to Ladro usually during later hours, their espresso just doesn't seem as good/has a burnt taste at times. I've been going here 3-4 times a week for about a year and I love it. The baristas are friendly and remember what I like to drink, plus they're open late (AWESOME) and have free wi-fi. I've never ordered anything fancy, but their lattes are fairly consistent and during the weekend when it gets busy they have plenty of staff on hand. Attached to the Marqueen Hotel, is this quaint, cute quiet little cafe. The girl at the counter was super sweet- and I was sure to tell her "Thank you" for carrying a sugar free flavor other than vanilla (yummmmm hazelnut...) My latte was beautiful. This coffee shop reminded me of the little independent shops that used to be in downtown Sacramento. Great flavor of espresso. I wouldnt be surprised if they bought from a local vendor or roasted their own beans.We took our cups and sat on the sidewalk outside, enjoying the weather and lounging in some pretty comfy chairs- great people watching spot! Was just informed by the barista (in the most awkward manner possible) that we will have to leave in about an hour and a half. Perhaps its due to the tendency of a lot of so-called hipster baristas to only acknowledge each other or others in their demographic when they are at work, but the service in this place is just horrible. They are rude, often dismissive and go out of their way to remind you that they are doing you a favor. The coffee is fine, not great, but not to be insulted; and the pastries are fine too...not the cleanest Ladro, or the most spacious. But we've never gotten good service here and thanks to all the other negative reviews, we now realize there's no need to play the race card--lots of folks get treated badly here. read more

I sometimes forget that this place is in my neighborhood! It is important to live near a place where I can get a good caffeine jolt--so whether I want to wander over on a saturday afternoon or a wednesday evening, I can enjoy an expertly prepared espresso beverage. I like that it is right next to the counterbalance, which I always mean to utilize more. There is seating in the cafe (and free wi-fi) if you need to do some work. I respect Caffe Ladro as a Seattle Institution, but I'll avoid this one in the future. I ordered a mocha to go and the hippie barista overfilled the cup, causing the coffee to flood the lid and overflow over the sides. This is a forgivable offense, but one would think this wouldn't happen after regular practice. What is revolting is that he proceeded to use a dirty rag to wipe the mouth of the lid. He then used the rag to wipe the counter as my friend and I watched like it was business as usual. read more
