I was impressed with the cleanliness of the office. I was Immediately greeted by the office manager IIlena who was welcoming & professional. The estimator Karina came out next & introduced herself with a handshake she was very professional, with the most friendly personality, polite & welcoming! I took my 2006 Honda S2000 in for repairs on my passenger side rear quarter panel for a dent caused by a drunk driver who hit me and ran. I went through my insurance to have Caliber fix the dent & repaint the panel. When I picked up my car after the repairs were done I noticed there were some issues with clear coat over-spray & some issues with my paint after Caliber washed my car. I brought these issues up to the general manager at this Caliber location and the regional manager for Caliber, Justin, called me about my concerns and he offered to personally come down to my house and look at the issues I had with my vehicle's paint. Justin was incredibly understanding and patient and his goal was to make sure I was happy with the repairs. Justin offered to make things right by repainting part of the car at no cost to me and it came out beautiful! Let's be real, everything is crazy expensive this current economy. Business have to charge higher prices just to make a little profit and to be able to pay their workers and their bills, while consumers try to find the cheapest prices to save every penny to make ends meet; both sides have it tough. Sometimes mistakes can happen when getting repairs done - nobody's perfect, but it's how a business handles those situations when issues arise that makes or breaks them. Caliber and Justin went above and beyond to fix my issues and make things right and I couldn't be happier with their level of service. How many companies out there have a regional manager who'll take time out of their day to personally come to your house to make things right! Justin gave me exemplary customer service and he really deserves so much credit and a promotion with a big raise. They worked with me from start to finish with the quote, bringing my car in, and getting the service done. My car was VERY used as it has scratches, paint splatter on it and was dirty (embarrassing but true) outside and in lol. They washed it all up and vacuumed it too! I had an accident a month ago and I towed my car to Caliber because of my prior good experience with Caliber. Unfortunately Caliber was not insurance preferred repair shop and I still insist of having Caliber do the repair. Because of not being a preferred repair shop, I encountered couple of hiccups with the appraisal. But in the end it end up being a total lost which make the process even more bumpy. To keep the story short, Caliber did a tremendous job smoothen out all the bumps for me and I walked out a happy customer. I was very satisfied with my experience at Caliber Collision from the day I dropped off my car to the day I picked it up about a week later. I arrived at 5:15pm to drop off my car when all the employees were getting ready to close the shop. The front desk lady (I think she's the office manager) was very patient and accommodating to me. Just be aware when your signing paper work. Before going to the body shop you have to contact your insurance to let them know which one you have selected my insurance sent over the information and it was confirmed that We did not need to pay deductible because the other party did not have insurance come to the fact that when We went to go pick up the car yesterday at 5:30 they were asking for $1000 because That was are deductible which they were already informed by my insurance that I wasn't going to pay any deductible they told us that we couldn't take the car so they contacted my insurance this morning and indeed they confirmed that we were not supposed to be paying the deductible and very irresponsible from the receptionist they should get better trained. if this was mentioned to me when I dropped off my car I would've like take initiative and contact my insurance to fix this issue. Cynthia told me you're going to be paying zero dollars because your insurance is going to cover it but what a surprise we took yesterday a whole different story from when I drop off my car but I would not recommend this place to anyone and Maria was very very rude she did not go above and beyond to help us she just said that's your insurance policy she didn't bother to contact my insurance at the time because they where in the rush to close. SJPD had my car classified incorrectly and Serena was all over them like a Pitbull on the Eastside until we got the story straight and my car released from Alongi Bros. Then after a friendly run down in reception I met Eddie. He was calm, cool and collected while giving me the run down and all possible options.
