When it comes to quality food at affordable prices, they nailed it. If quick service and easy parking are what you're looking for, this may not be the location. Any time I come to this location (or any of the locations) the food is consistently great. My favorite will always be the Chinese Chicken Salad which has the lightest dressing and is overall delightful. The pita served with it is always fresh as well. For something different, the wraps didn't disappoint. A nice balance of ingredients with the perfect portion of chicken. Highly recommend those as well. The place is clean. Employees are friendly. There is a shared parking lot with usually adequate parking, but the lot design being on an angel makes the parking situation less than pleasant. My go to is their 1/4 Chicken White with a Chinese Chicken Salad which is white meat chicken, almonds, Mandarin oranges, Chinese noodles, pasta, green onions, lettuce, carrots, house-made Chinese dressing. Years ago I had mixed experiences with this CCC location and recently I have had nothing but exceptional service, perfect food, and although the speed of things might be slow, I know what to expect like a reasonable human being. My go-to is the combo wrap, sometimes adding some cabbage slaw and sometimes a cookie. The wrap is always full and stuffed with meat and veggies. Chicken is moist, flavorful, avocado is fresh, veggies are crunchy and fresh too, and the Italian dressing is on point. I also love the red salsa so here's a tip - get a cup of the red salsa for one half of the wrap, and save the cup of Italian dressing for the other half of the wrap. Take a bite to open up some gaps and pour each dressing into their respective halves. You won't regret it! A few employees are always serving me and they are always giving great service with a smile. I have always loved this place. I first ate many years ago in Hollywood. I've stopped at several locations over the years. The food is always so fresh and the employees have always been fast and friendly. I have moved but was visiting the area so ordered lunch on the app. I didn't realize that this location has become a pick up only with no dine in available since the pandemic. The parking lot has never been great. It is small and shares with a block of businesses. They have a couple dedicated spaces for drive up & pick up, but since it's so busy other non customers use them too. This time the spots were taken and we parked in another. I walked over and they were greeting customers outside and brought your order out. The employee was very friendly. As usual, our food was great. I had the Chinese Chicken Salad. It is very big. So fresh and love the dressing. My husband had the chicken classic wrap which was fresh and tasty as well. I absolutely love California Chicken Cafe. I am still disappointed that they haven't reopened for dine-in after Covid, so they only offer take-out. The food is always delicious, but this location has messed my order up several times, particularly when I make large orders. This is made more complicated by the fact that it's only take-out, because you often don't realize until you're no longer at the restaurant. I've tried a few different menu items from the salads to wraps to chicken, but I always go back to the Chinese chicken salad. I always order online and pick up since it's takeout only. My order is almost always ready on time or even earlier, but I never mind waiting a bit more because it's always worth it. The ingredients taste so fresh, chicken is tender, the crunch from the fried noodles and peanuts are perfect, the pasta is a nice addition, I love the mandarin oranges from some sweetness, and wow the dressing is probably my favorite part - it has the perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and nutty.
