My wife and I come here for lunch at least once a month and the food is consistently good. The staff is always great. Today Carmen was especially friendly and made our short lunch time extra enjoyable. They have a covered outside seating area that we prefer to the inside. Wow the anaheim hills store sends out everything cold but the fish. But here you get everything hot including the butter sauce if you get extra. I ordered through the website at 11:50 AM and was notified. My order should be ready by 12:11 PM. I was directed to check the shelf upon arrival. I showed up on time and my bag was ready to go. I was a little concerned that the containers steam effect would de-crisply my food but the fish taco was still crispy and the fries Were also OK. I will say the flavor on the fries was very enjoyable. However, the chimichurri, of course, has a solid oil base per the definition of chimichurri so the fries ended up being a little oilier than I normally would prefer. Chimichurri sauce on the side would probably make it better but I definitely appreciate it and enjoyed the experience for the first time. From salmon to sea bass to mahi mahi to swap to shrimp to Louisiana delta catfish, and they even have Chicken breast! I also like the salmon and swai combo they have, though I wish you can mix and match more food options than just salmon and swai! As a bonus I really like the wine and beer options at the end! After about 15 minutes, I went back up to let them know I'd be waiting outside since my daughter was getting fussy and wanted to know how much longer and that's when they told me I missed the window and they wouldn't be giving me anything.I was acknowledged, told to wait and then no update or anything. It's not like this was a freebie, I had already paid but left empty handed. How hard is it to just be decent and make a quick side bag.. does 2-3 minutes actually make so much of a difference that they couldn't just do that? What really sucks is that I was genuinely excited. The service from the start wasn't very welcoming, and the lack of care honestly sucked. I work in customer service and we're trained to go above and beyond for every guest.. not only for our business but just being a thoughtful person in general and that's just how I operate and what I'm used to seeing so maybe it's my fault for expecting that kind of effort from others? I have ordered a few times via online and when ordering the salmon salad, they are very very skimpy on the lettuce. I wish I would've checked the container prior to leaving, but this is not worth what I paid for. Once beginning to eat, it's more like a side salad rather than a main entree.
