If I could give this place no stars I would. The waxing lady is lazy and waxed my eyebrows twice instead of plucking them after the first wax like normal. I now have a huge red and probably infected burn (more like layers of skin missing now) on my eye lid. read more

I used to come here loyally for 2 years or so but recently I have had to stop. I think they must have had a turnover and changes in personnel because I do not recognize any of the ladies any more and their services have gone way down hill. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for 2 not-so-great pedicures, thinking that it was just a new girl and maybe she didn't have as much experience as the other ladies who have given me great pedicures in the past, but something happened the last time I visited this place so that I will NEVER go there again. I went there over the summer for a pedicure and a eyebrow wax, and it was so traumatizing I wasn't able to get my eyebrows waxed for about 6 months. The lady was completely inappropriate in the way that she was touching me while she did the wax and it made me very uncomfortable. Usually I have no problem getting waxed and having someone touch my face, but this lady was extremely rough and she was using the back of her arm and hand to basically hold me down on the table, all while practically groping me. (Touching my chest especially) To make matters worse, she totally over-waxed my eyebrows and it took 6 months for them to grow back in and look natural again. I can understand if you are new to the business and maybe still learning, but I don't need to be molested while I am getting my eyebrows waxed. OMG! I was very disappointed in this place. Not only does it have great reviews, but a friend recommended it for the 15 minute hot stone pedi for $20. My normal nail place was booked so I tried this place. I did not experience any of this for my pedi and gel fill. :( First, the lady points to the wall and asks which one I want. The wall she pts at did not have the $20 dollar stone massage so i was confused. She was pushing for the $30,$40 or $50 ones. I told her $20. Well..what I got was worth a $10 pedi. My pedi was less than 30 minutes which included her rubbing the stone up and down my legs twice!! only twice!! WTF!! Most of that 30 minutes was her adding acrylic on one of my toes that I paid extra money for. When I got home that acrylic toenail was all jacked up, crooked and sticking out like a crooked tooth sticking out, but I couldn't tell at first since I'm looking straight down at it. The Gel fill - Very nice lady (I give her that one star). BUT she messed up my nails! I should have known by her style and the steps she took to do them. The places I go to ask if I want my tips shorter and then trim them down a bit with the machine. well instead she fills it first, then trims it down. I think that is why my nails are now splitting from the acrylic and chipping - 1wk. I asked for square/round, just like the way I had them. What I got was COMPLETELY round and my thumb filled on one side way too much - making my nail curve to the side. HORRIBLE! I really wanted to like this place. I realize now how much I love my normal nail place. Never will I wander off for a Gel fill again! read more

California Nails is my families favorite place to go for pedicures. The basic $20 pedi includes a regular massage AND a hot stone massage but if you're really treating yourself, go for the relax pedicure for $30 which includes a callous treatment and a longer, hot oil massage. Sooooo relaxing. My Mom recently starting getting her fingernails done (full set?) here as well and now she won't go anywhere else! Only negative comment, skip the waxing. This review is for their NEW management - Now called 2 Seasons Nails Hannah did an amazing job! I just had a manicure 2 weeks ago at a different place and it didn't even compare. She was so gentle and very thorough at getting all my excess cuticle without nipping me. I don't have good natural nails and am attempting to move away from my long time acrylic nails and with her help I think I finally can! FYI this place is new management of what was California Nails. You can tell everything is brand new and very clean! I will defininetly be coming back! read more

I enjoyed my pedicure, but my boyfriends experience wasn't great, and there were a couple of negatives that make me think I'll head somewhere else next time. We wanted to both get pedicures, so I looked up a place for hot stone pedicures, and we ended up at California Nails. My massage was great, the stones were great too. However, since I wanted peace, I didn't sit next to the bf--I don't like chit chat when I'm at the spa or salon...the girl working on my bf, didn't tell him he was sitting in a massage chair--so for his entire time there, he had no idea he could be getting a back massage. Minus one star. Next, even though he was paying for the extra long massage and hot stones, since he wasn't getting his nails painted, he was done about 20 minutes before me. Minus two stars for skimping on his treatment. Lastly, they didn't remove any callus' from either of our feet, and my polish started fading one week later...minus three stars. read more

A friend of mine recommended this place for a french tip mani after I complemented her nails. Another friend and I made an appt for 1pm but walked in at 12:30 and took us both without a problem. Her pedi came with a hot stone massage, how awesome is that? The girl that worked on my nails, Kim, was fast but very efficient. My nails look beautiful, and it only costs $30 for a set of new gel nails.i've paid up to $40 for a slow, OK job. The decor is nice, they have flat-screen tv's mounted on the wall so you don't get bored. :) I've gotten a lot of compliments on my french tip; now I want to try their other services! This place is great for the price. I love the artwork they created on my toes and only paid 28 total (this includes the tip). My pedi lasted a good 3 weeks which is long and bad on my part--but they still look good! I figure, why get another one when this is still rockin'!? They also do a hot stone massage--fantastic! All of the women are very nice and pleasant. The place does not have jets spas, which are famous for harboring fungus--instead, they have these beautiful basins. I have been searching for a regular mani/pedi place for awhile. I've tried a few in the area, and even gone back to some. I just wasn't totally pleased with any of them. I have a pet peeve about nail places that only take cash. If you get a mani and a pedi, that can be a lot of cash to carry around. Anyway,that's just my personal gripe. This place takes credit cards, (but you have to tell them to put the tip on before they run the card.) They remodeled a few months ago, and it looks great. I like their new chairs, and the place is super-clean!!!!!! They don't carry OPI, which is my only reason for not giving them 5 stars. I finally caved, and bought a couple of colors . I just bring them with me. The regular pedi, ($18) comes with a hot stone massage. They smooth oil over your legs with a warm stone. It's heavenly, and very relaxing. I was shocked that it came with the standard pedi. This place is a little further than some of the other salons I've gone to. It's totally worth it though! This is the only place I go now! read more

I've been here over a the las few years because I love how they do my nails BUT the chatter among the employees is enough to keep me from returning. They normally have all 3 of their TV's on and the nail ladies talk over the TV volume and across the nail shop to each other so it's hard to read or relax. Awesome nails salon. This place has changed the name to 2 season salon. I stopped going here for months. On Friday, I decided to give it a try again just because I was shopping in the same plaza. Wow, this place has changed dramatically. Everything is new, clean, and a lot nicer compared to before. They have many color options now. They did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. I've been going to California Nails for past 5 years and pretty much go here anytime I need a french manicure, mani, or pedi. They have nice massage chairs with clean wash tub basins for your manicure. The hot stone rub is heaven! I only go here to get my french manicure done. I have tried a few other places for this and always wish I went to California Nails. Most of the staff is very friendly and knows what they are doing. Some have heavy accents but its just something we all get used to. The only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is because I wouldn't recommend getting a eye brow wax there (its just not the best). We now have had unauthorized charges made to our accounts and are going through dealing with getting the charges reversed. This is a great place to go to on a regular basis. It's a pleasant atmosphere, and their pedicure chairs are awesome! The women that work their are very nice, and they all wear matching aprons. It seems like a very organized, well run business. I really like how clean everything is, and I've never felt like it's a place where I'd end up with some kind of bacterial infection. It's so much better than most of the nail places in the area. It's reasonably priced and you get your money's worth. I've never tried any of their waxing or hair services. My daughter and I were having a girl's day and decided to get pedicures - I have had a couple but she never had. We walked in at 9:40am and left at 11am with 2 beautiful pedicures and a great addition to our fun day. The girls were friendly and very attentive to us "pedicure virgins". The prices may be better elsewhere but this could be a go-to place in a pinch since the wait was not long at all for walk-ins. read more
