We both had the California Veggie Pizza. Absolutely delicious! A little bit expensive, for a pizza ($20), but at least it was good. Would I go back? Probably. Tip: Even if you get your parking ticket validated for the Prudential Center Garage, if you parked for over 5 hours, that's worthless. The 'validation' is good only if you parked for less than 5 hours. You'll pay the full $47! Now that is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. This is probably a bit of an unusual review, since I won't actually be commenting on the food. I came in with two friends on a weekend for a late lunch. We ended up sitting around for quite some time, waiting to place our order. Eventually, we flagged someone down to bring over some waitstaff, but no one ever came to take our order. After a few more attempts, we just gave up and went elsewhere. Hopefully this was just a one off situation, maybe with a staffing issue, so I don't want to penalize them too hard! It's your run of the mill CPK in terms of decor and layout. It's quite large and nestled inside the mall with outside seating available. We have been here twice in the past few months. The first time we were having a custom suit made for my husband at the mall on the other side and this felt like the best restaurant to stop into. The service that day left a lot to be desired. We ordered appetizers and then nobody ever came back to take our food order so we just decided to get the check after a while. Oddly enough they had doubled our guac order and ended up packing it for us to go so that was a nice gesture. The last time we went with a gift card. Our server was super attentive! We ordered an appetizer and a pizza. Both came out quickly and fresh. Our drinks were refilled before the glasses were empty. The pizzas just aren't the same as they used to be. We came here two days in a row because we loved CPK so much. CPK restaurants left the State of Washington before Covid, so when we saw this CPK restaurant in Boston, we just wanted to go. I think the service really depends on who serves your table. Since we come two days in a row with the exact same order, it became obvious that not everyone served in the same way. The first day, we got a young girl who served our table. During ordering, there's nothing wrong, but when the food came, we realized that no utensil had been provided yet. We tried to look for her, but she somehow disappeared for a while. When she showed up again, she didn't look into our direction, so we were unable to get her attention. She walked by a few times without even looking at us. We sat right by the register, so we finally got her attention when she was getting a check for other customers. It was also difficult to get her refill our water cups. She couldn't be found in the restaurant most of time, and when she showed up she walked quickly without paying attention to the tables she served. The next day, my son wanted to eat at CPK again. Now you know how much we miss this!! Since we can no longer eat it in Seattle, we came again when we could. This time we got a young guy to serve our table. Totally different from the previous girl, he brought us the utensils when he came to take our orders. Once we placed our orders, he came with a plate of bread and olive oil! Oh yes, after not eating at CPK for years, I almost forgot they had this bread service. The girl on the first day didn't bring us the bread. The bread was warm and delicious, which brought us back the good memory of CPK when we had it in Seattle. This guy checked with us very often and refilled our water regularly. For the food, my son ordered California Club pizza while I ordered King Pao Spaghetti with chicken. And yes, we ordered the same things on both days. Both were great as how we had remembered them. If we were going for the 3rd day, there would be a good chance that we would be ordering the same things because we loved them. When we were there, the restaurant was not full. I also noticed that their table cleanup fell behind. The mess on the table would stay for a long time after the customers had left. I am not sure if it's due to understaff or what, but overall I have to say it didn't look clean. The bathroom was not clean, either. read more

Came here for food and drinks with some friends because we were already in the Pru. Everything was just ok. First we ordered cocktails that tasted like freezer burn. The server gave us new drinks and they weren't great but better than the first. The server did bring our drinks from the kitchen instead of the bar so I'm assuming they have mixed drinks back there.. I ordered the carne asada pizza and it wasn't great The dough was very doughy and overall the pizza did not taste fresh. It's huge inside with plenty of seating and a bar. read more

I haven't had CPK in years, and was nostalgic to try it after so long. I fondly remember the salads and famous chicken bbq pizza. Sadly, the quality has gone downhill since then. I wasn't feeling pizza so I ended up trying pasta, and the tequila chicken lime pasta was the most recommended item. However, I could genuinely make better pasta at home than what I was served. The sauce was very watery and not sticking to the fettuccine. The flavor was fairly bland and very onion-ey. I really wanted to enjoy this, but cannot necessarily recommend. read more

We used to love this place and since we were in the area for an event, we figured we'd swing by for lunch. Unfortunately, the only good part of the meal was the bread and oil we started with. Mediocre Spinach and Artichoke Dip (congealed and not visually appealing) Caesar dressing tasted sour Shrimp scampi was overcooked and tasted bitter The steak on the carne asada pizza tasted like someone forgot it on the grill Honestly, no input on the waiter as we didn't see her enough to form an opinion. They did comp the Caesar salad which was appreciated but it was still a $100 meal and we probably would have been better off at the food court. Items we ordered as of 8/2023: - Sicilian - $19.49 - Nice spice from the pepperoni and sausage. Was expecting it to be a square pizza and was a bit bummed to find out that this wasn't the case. Still tasty though. - Kung Pao Spaghetti - $17.99 (+$4 for chicken) - This was... interesting. I will say that despite not at all being authentic (the sauce is on the sweeter side and I detected no spiciness at all) I still kind of enjoyed it! I found the pasta being well cooked and the balance of the sauce really saved this from being unpalatable (though be warned if you're expecting any sort of authentic kung pao sauce then steer clear). - Lunch box Margherita and Caesar salad - $13 - I think that this is a great deal. The pizza was nicely cooked and had great flavor. Caesar salad was standard. - Dynamite Shrimp - $13.49 - Huge fan of this one. Not too spicy (if you're worried about that) and the quantity was good for the price. Excellent crisp to it. I'd get this one again. Came here for lunch after doing some shopping in the area. Place was not too crowded on a weekday afternoon. Ambience is nice bright and sunny especially since it was a nice warm sunny day. Mock tails were refreshing - cucumber reviver was minty fresh, strawberry mango cooler was sweet, and Pacific thyme was mild. Mexican street corn was great - a little spicy and creamy with the cheese and great with a squeeze of lime. Schezwan chicken dumplings were delicious. Chipotle chicken pizza was great and the lime cream was nice with it. Hawaiian pizza was nice too. Our server Alex was very polite and pleasant. Went to CPK after some shopping and sat down at the bar. I think you get what you pay for at this CPK, average food. However, I will say that there are many options available, and they get the food out quickly to you, so for a cheap last minute place to stop and eat at, CPK fits that criteria. We had a Hawaiian pizza and a California Cobb salad. They served us in a timely manner, but the area wasn't extremely tidy. I'm sure there's a lot of foot traffic in this CPK, so I can understand that the bar wasn't 100% clean, but it felt like a lack of effort to me. Overall, I'd probably give it a 3.5 stars, but I'll round up. I could go back but would probably look elsewhere in the future. read more

Our server was not thrilled to be waiting on us, was it because we all ordered water? We had to ask for plates, silverware and refills on water-really! My husband got the club pizza, very tasty probably because I like Mayo, needed bacon n seasoning. I got the California veggie- please cut up the broccolini and sprinkle throughout pizza, cheese, sauce n seasoning would have made it much better. My sisters each got the cauliflower crust half cheese, half pepperoni and half pepperoni and half bbq chicken-they both ate almost all of it and looked amazingly good. Have I not been out for individual pizza's in awhile but $19-24 per pizza. Not my cup of tea, unless it's a large and can feed more than 2 pizza. read more

So check it out, the picture I posted kind of explains everything about my experience at this particular location. For the record I love this restaurant, not this location but this brand. Just last week I was at another location in California, we also have a CPK near the house and if I had to guess my family and I eat here 10 times a year so yea, we like the product. Today was really bad and again the picture I posted of the manager with his EarPods in working on his laptop with his back turned is why in my opinion our visit was bad. So first off we sat down and we waited roughy 10 minutes until we saw a waitress. No biggie but I sought that was the original owners business plan. Finally the waitress showed up and took our drink order, the drinks showed up and things were great. At that time we talked with the waitress about how we had the reward program and that we had an e-mail to where we earned a free chips and guacamole. The waitress looked confused and then told us that we could not get the free chips and guacamole unless everyone at the table had the reward program. She then asked if I wanted to sign up and we said no. Later on after our food arrived we talked with a 2nd waitress and she said that we could absolutely get the free chips and quac but at that time it was too late. Our food came out and it was good food but we never received the bread and dip, we asked about it earlier but we realized that we never received it. Then after we were finished with our food the bread finally showed up. Our drinks sat empty at the edge of the table again until the end of our meal, finally we flagged down our waitress and asked for a couple refills. The picture I posted were taken roughly 30 minutes apart. The manager sat on his laptop with his back turned the entire time we were at the restaurant. The staff does not know the restaurant policies, this path is not courtesy to looking for refills and the staff doesn't have an understanding to win appetizers are supposed to be delivered to the table. Very disappointing!! The CPK brand is awesome but this particular location needs a little training and a manager that manages! read more

Excellent Boston eatery in the Prudential mall with a nice, diverse menu of great options to choose from. I remember loving the mac n' cheese growing up which was pretty unique. More recently I've loved the Kung Pao spaghetti with chicken and shrimp too. Obviously the pizza is great as well. Their prices have been increasing so it's pretty expensive now, but always great food. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and service very good. read more

While in Boston for a conference, I stopped by this establishment. I had never eaten at any of the locations in Virginia, but I wanted to give it a try based on raved reviews from some friends. I tried the Avocado Club Egg Roll, and I must say that it was the best egg roll that I have ever had. The egg rolls were huge and very filling. There were two different dipping sauces. One was mild, and the other was spicy. The eggs rolls were crispy and flavorful. They were well-seasoned. The staff was amicable and attentive. The restaurant was clean and followed the proper COVID protocols. Overall, I will revisit this establishment when in Boston. read more
