I entered Camarillo Salon with my Girl for her haircut as a birthday gift. I was impressed with the atmoshere, as it's more of a boutique style salon... you don't seem to find that anymore. Well, we were greeted by a nice lady with the white coat on. She had a nice, warm smile, very friendly, and professional. I sat and watched as I never seemed to pay attention to a fancy haircut. I was impressed as the "Red Headed" stylist seemed to know what she was doing. I though to myself she must have gone to one of those fancy "French" Hair Academies. It was nice to be greeted and offered a beverage from their friendly staff, as I waited. I was hesitant on going there since I read a couple of negative reviews that were posted from years ago. I figure All businesses have ups and downs.. but i'm glad we went. Looks like this Salon restructured somehow and got it together. They are a as friendly as they are talented. She was ready and expecting me. I had told her over the phone what I had been doing to my hair. She planned out some options for me. I needed to calm my color with a little stripping, color my roots enough to cover the grey, add shine and balance to the rest of my hair and condition deeply. She did it all and walked me through step by step. The Salon itself is eclectic. That is a style appreciated by the artsy and fun-spirited!
