    A restaurant who takes a reservation for 1 at the bar with superb bartenders and an equally impressive kitchen? Five stars. The fish rundown was just what I needed after a long day of jazz fest. Fresh, yet decadent. The bartender described it as a warm hug and that somehow nails this curry red drum dish which was extravagantly topped with crawfish. Paired with a Hurricane, it was quintessential - new New Orleans. No, not a typo. Cane & Table is at the forefront of modern decadent dining you can't find everywhere in the US. It's uniquely New Orleans, but today's New Orleans. I thoroughly enjoyed my entree and then was handed a dessert list that had a cocktail pairing?! Yes, please. Sign me up for both. Five stars. Thank you!

    Worth it in every way. This is the authentic French Quarter restaurant experience. Super friendly servers. Authentic interior and courtyard spaces. And the food is top notch and mouth watering. I've been here many, many times and always walk away super impressed. In fact, when a friend asks for a recommendation in The Quarter this is one of my top 3. Right now there's some construction on the street out front but it is 100% worth the effort to seek this place out. You will remember this meal for a long time. It's that place.

    I ordered the ribs, and they were so soaked in vinegar that they were not palatable. There was slaw on top that was vinegar based, but the ribs also had vinegar added. Another person in our party decided to try them. When we talked to the server about them, we were told they were inspired by Carolina style sauces. When we said that it was too much, we were kinda blown off. The Fish Rundown was good. ZARZUELA DE MARISCOS was also good. Overall it was good, not great. Too many really great choices in NOLA for mediocrity.

    Man oh man, this is my stop in upon arrival in NOLA. The fish and grits were astounding. Upon arrival the vibe was on, music and vibe was A+ Once I sat to dine and had my first bite I understood the confidence I felt walking in. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable, he had the perfect amount of chatter and really charmed our table. From the bar I had 2 drinks off the menu, the hurricane and another I can't remember the name of but it was based on African diasporic flavors and was delicious! Stop in.

    Outstanding Cuban/Creole cuisine in the heart of the French Quarter! Delicious cocktails! Service was top tier with great southern hospitality. Attentive and quick and filled with personalized recommendations. Moody bar vibe with a backyard style space for more dining or group options.

    This was our last stop on our food and booze tour. We were seated in a back outdoor courtyard. We had fried plantains and pork cracklings with a daiquiri. The plantains had this deep dark burnt ends look to them. A red Macha sauce and crema were on the bottom of the plate with a stack of fried plantains. The dish was really pretty and it tasted just as good as it looked. The cracklings were fried crispy pig skin, curry seasoned and finished with a cane sugar drizzle. The drizzle with seasoning was a great combination. The soft creamy plantains and the super crispy cracklings were a great pairing. The daiquiri was rum, sugar and lime juice. It was served in a cute coupe style glass. Everyone at are table thought it reminded us of a margarita with rum and an unsalted rim. We definitely want to come back and try more items. Everything here was exceptional.

    Definitely more of a bar place for drinks vs. restaurant for food although they do have a wide selection of food items as well (they've been voted to have the best cocktails in all of Nola multiple times!) cocktails were very strong - none of that "wait did they accidentally serve me the mocktail version?" and blend of flavors were so unique! Not big drinks people though so idk what else to say lol Food! Plating was so beautiful but food was just ok - nothing special I did think a couple items that we ordered were too greasy esp the seasonal mushroom toast which we couldn't even finish because it was just way too heavy (think cream cheese on olive oil soaked bread with garlic butter mushrooms - fat on fat on fat u know?) The plantains were also too charred (esp for us Asians ) but it was low key all burnt... IG: Spillingthe.table

    The food was very tasty!! We had the Brussels hash and the brunch rundown. The rundown was out of this world, we practically licked the bowl. The cocktails were great. Prices were high but I was really happy with my meal and appreciated the service. Space is a total vibe!

    A very cute and trendy little spot, I must say. A local suggested going to this little Caribbean spot, which was different than all of the Cajun/creole places we had visited, so it was a different flavor profile break (still very good!) First and foremost, my friend and I weren't too hungry, but still wanted to try items off the menu. I got the frozen piña colada inside of a coconut with the floating rum. It was refreshing with the right amount of alcohol, as well as aesthetically pleasing. My friend wasn't sure what she wanted, and after telling the waiter she liked mezcal, he suggested a mezcal margarita (which was not on the menu), so that was so lovely of him to do that! For food, we just did the crab croquetas and salad. The croquetas were elite. So flavorful. The salad was also a 10/10 despite it being a little on the simple side (because it was a salad), but the taste was elevated. I wanted to try the shrimp cocktail, octopus, brussel sprouts and ribs (half the menu, essentially), but I was afraid we wouldn't be able to finish it and we had so much piling up at our hotel fridge. I loved the interior, but if you could withstand the heat, the patio is also a great space. Also! The menu happens to change, so keep that in mind if you're looking at photos on Yelp.

    This is one of my favorite spots for an amazing well-balanced cocktail. While it is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of French Quarter it is an oasis of refined Caribbean class. Serving a wide range of Proto-tiki cocktails and top Notch food. You can't go wrong at Cane and Table. Service is always stellar. If you need a respite from the craziness of the Quarter-you will find it here.

    What a great option while in the French Quarter. Luckily we made a reservation since it was pretty busy, even for a week night, and the staff was great. They have a lot of fun local options on the menu and extensive drink options as well. The server was great at answering our questions and giving us suggestions. We tried a handful of different things and all of it was great. They have a nice outdoor space but it was a little hot for us so we sat inside and it was dark with candlelights, definitely a cool space but a little loud.

    $45 a person to eat and drink. We do cap the bottomless drinks at 2 hours.

Though, honestly, while the cocktails are good, it was not as memorable as the other Top 50 Best Bars in the World that I have been to, but I won't dock a star off because of this, since the cocktails and overall experience otherwise were fantastic. Service is good but can be a bit slow, but it is an acceptable tradeoff for a more quiet ambience compared to downstairs.

The murals, the history, and the energy of the room give it a sense of occasion that you do not get at most bars. We had such a great time sitting at the bar that my wife and I each finished two and a half Sazeracs, which tells you everything you need to know.

Served in a textured coupe with a cherry skewer, details handled like they actually matter. Outside, the streets were selling amnesia in plastic souvenir cups. Inside, The Apothecary was serving adults. Let Bourbon Street keep the grenades. Give me the anecdote .
