Pickup was smooth and easy.. I like the outside window, but I'm kind of disappointed because I saw more on the menu than I saw online. The bottom crust was a little softer than what I'm use to, but the flavors were there!! The staff at the pickup window were nice and attentive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not sure what was going on outside, but it was hard to find parking and there were kids everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't sit in to dine, but I did peek in, and it looked very cute inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After seeing the menu, there are other flavors that I would definitely love to try. So the next time, I will dine in.

This place is not bad. Firstly it was pretty busy this night, but our service wasn't very good; we didn't get any refills or nothing, and it seemed like it cause we're young but idk. The pizza was okay though, seemed fresh but nothing special. They also messed up our order and gave fresh jalapeño instead of pickled but it's ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had some football games going on tvs so that was nice as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We ordered a Margherita pizza to-go around 5:00 on a Friday night. We called and the young man taking our order was very pleasant and he said he'd need our credit card number over the phone. No problem. I'm sure they get burned all the time. Pick up was easy, just head to the specific entrance for Pick Up orders. Got home, pizza looked good. Getting a slice to your plate is a little tricky because the bottom crust was floppy. I ended up eating my slice with a fork and knife. The pizza tasted good, just wish it had a crispy crust.

I came here for the first time yesterday (Sunday) at about 2pm. This was my first time at any Cane Rosso. The brunch menu was still happening and I enjoyed a $2 mimosa and an old fashioned. Both drinks were very good. I decided to do the Build Your Own Pizza. The base price for this wasn't listed (red flag), but the menu stated that this starts with a margherita pizza and then you pick your toppings up to 3 that you want to add. I decided to do mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage. The pizza was good, although the crust was wet and limp so it was hard to eat it without the toppings coming off (including the cheese). When I received my bill, I was surprised to see $1 added for "red sauce." Huh? What? I didn't ask for red sauce, and does a margherita pizza not automatically come with red sauce. I looked back at the menu and nowhere does it say anything about a dollar extra for red sauce, especially when it says that the BYO Pizza STARTS WITH A MARGHERITA PIZZA! I know, I know, it's just a dollar. I get that, but I detest bait-and-switch moves with a passion, so this is about principle. I questioned this to the bartender (I sat at the bar), and after explaining my position, he adjusted the charge. I appreciate that, but still, wth? Not posting the charge in the menu seems like a recipe for "we can charge whatever we'd like that day." If you wanted to charge $17 for the base rather than the $16 that was on my bill, then just do that, and don't add extra miscellaneous charges for no reason. Was the pizza good? Yes. Were the drinks good? Yes. Would I come back? Sure. Did the pricing or lack of transparency on the menu, and bait-and-switch practice turn me off? Absolutely.

Our server handled our large party like a champ! It was a busy Tuesday night, but she was on top of it! I enjoyed the Brussel Spouts, but the Truffle Shuffle was just ok. However, the Honey Bastard was tasty! I'll get that next time for sure.

I LOVE THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS HERE I mean so flavorful and always tastes great! The Billy Ray valentine always always always hits the spot. Expect longer wait times, but I promise it's worth it!!

Good Food, Good Service, Good choice of both Wine and Beer. Ambiance is very Naborhoodie, lots of folks with their small children, come early or make reservations. They do have an outdoor seating area. Very Loud 72.4 dbm which is the same as your Vaccuum cleaner going constantly near you. And of course loud atmosphere makes small children get louder.

I had a nice time at this Cane Rosso location. I went with my wife and newborn daughter and our server Jack was nice, attentive and got us out quick. We got the Caesar salad and the Cane Rosso pizza. The salad was a little salty but the dressing was bomb. The pizza was good. The server let us know ahead of time it would be a little soft but it wasn't too bad. Overall I enjoyed my visit.

Our server Josh took such good care of our group of 6 after worker. They were slammed on a Wednesday night and he still so attentively and kindly served us with great recommendations and patience. AND the pizzas were out of this world! The honey bastard was the perfect combination of salty, sweet and spicy and anytime I'm in Dallas I'll be coming back for it!

Came and ordered pizza for takeout late afternoon today, 11/16. Got home and after a few bites, it tasted burned. Looked at bottom of pizza and slice was almost black. Checked rest of pizza and it was the same. Not edible. I called and let them know and was told a manager would call me. After 2 hours, no one called me so I drove up there and took the burned pizza with me. They were super nice about fixing the order and also gave me a dessert pizza. I get home and guess what....the bottom of the pizza is burned again-not as bad as the first but still has the burned taste. To top it off, the dessert pizza was also burned. What a shame. Last few times I have eaten here it was not burned. Into the trash they go. Waste of money today. Ended up with cereal for dinner. read more

Love Cane Rosso. Been going for years, since it was a rolling pizza oven at Chocolate Angel. So nice to have one close by. I went with a friend, and we shared the caesar salad and the Zoli. I really want to like their food because it is a great kid atmosphere.. but everytime we go just about, the pizza is so floppy and soggy.. or the gluten free crust is so tough you can hardly bite into it.. so mine is usually too tough and my husband's (not gluten free) is basically disintegrating and you can't even pick it up. We've gone probably 5-10 times and this stays pretty consistent. read more

First let me just say the food (pizza) is pretty good. But the service is great. Visit for first time and we had a party of 11 gave us 2 tables that were close enough for us. Our server (Asher ) handle the services with excellent. Gave us suggestions on what was the best combination for our order. And it came out great. Once he took our drink order and delivered timely he when down the line and took our food order as if it was our final meal for the rest of our lives. Side note: not once did he ever rolled his eyes at our crazy orders or made it seem that he couldn't wait to get us out of there. Place was crowded and lots of noise but made it seem like a fun place to come and enjoy dinner. Our server came by at least 3 times to make sure we had water or if we needed anything else If you are just looking to eat pizza I'm sure you can find many places to go, but if you are looking for great food and great service this is you place. I just picked up my order and I must let everyone know that this is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. Many times I have picked up orders from their manned Baskin Robbins - type outside window. Every single time there has been a problem with the order upon pick up. I've gone back due to the food is good. But not good enough anymore. I'm done. A lot of places have good food, but these children working the to-go window have to go! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Not as good as it used to be now that the chef changed. Salads are much smaller but the same price - they are no longer an entree size. and we left hungry. Was told some of the appetizers we no longer as good either. Hope the new chef can turn things back around. read more

We went on Saturday, super prompt friendly service! The kids were a mess so we rushed to eat and get out and left our precious pizza leftovers on the table!! This pizza is the closest thing to true Italian pizza I've had in Dallas. It's really good! The apps are delicious. The Brussels sprout are addictively good. I can't wait for the weather to cool off so we can take advantage of the great outdoor space. I can already tell my little is going to have so much fun outside. It's definitely family friendly outside. I highly recommend this place. Also, this chain has great customer service. I placed a to go order and some how I called the wrong location. We ordered for takeout. We got the Betty Pizza. The cheese, ricotta and dough were tasty but it barely had any sausage or prosciutto which were the main reasons why we order it. The price was reasonable ($19) and in line with comparable places like pie tap. Unless that changes, rather go to Pie Tap or Testa. read more

Great food, skip the meatball appetizer... So myself, my son and my wife went here for lunch. We got 3 different pizzas, the Billy Valentine, the Delia and the Johnny Utah. All great, great crust. Some reviews have complained of burned crust. Their pizzas are cooked in a 900 degree oven, the char is a natural part of that process and I think it tasted great! All of us did. You are going to have to fold over the crust because it stays soft, which we all liked, reminded us on NY pizza. The meatball appetizer. OOF... THREE 1.5 - 2" meatballs (tasty) in sauce with 5 pieces of nicely flavored and toasted 1.5" x 3-4" pieces of bread... $14. You can order spaghetti and meatballs for $15 and extra meatballs for $2 each. SKIP THE MEATBALL APPETIZER, it is a COMPLETE rip off price wise. They do not list the number of balls, now I know why. If I had known I would be paying almost $5 a meatball, I would have ordered the spaghetti and gotten extras and taken the spaghetti home. :) read more

It's okay pizza if that is what you are into. It's meant to be sort of gourmet pizza i guess. Not my thing personally. I would not touch the pasta. It's not bad or anything just super mediocre. I came here with two friends. The food was good but the service was terrible. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our drinks. At this time there were only two other tables with guests. When our drinks came out, our waiter could not remember whose drink order was whose. When we asked for water the waiter brought us a pitcher and expected us to pour our own glasses. We had to ask for our check and when the waiter brought the check, it was not split so we had to ask for a split check and when the waiter came back with a split check, it was all wrong and then the manager came over and tried to figure out how to spit our checks. We had to write what we ordered on the checks. The manager was very nice and was able to split our check appropriately. I would not recommend this location. read more

This is what I ordered vs. what I actually got. The small amount of toppings were all concentrated in the middle... even the cheese. This is a $21 pizza and is the size of a normal medium pizza. I gave it 2 stars because the parts with toppings were pretty good. Hopefully this was a fluke and not the standard. read more

Came here on the Saturday before Mother's Day for brunch with my family of 5. Wasn't very full at all. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, and the kids enjoyed the corn hole (you have to leave your ID to get the bags). Food was very very good. I'm from NY, so I'm a bit picky with pizza, and the key is the dough, which was excellent! Charred well, with good flavor and chew. Had the Betty (pretty good), kids had pizzas (all good). Wife had the Honey Bastard, but what REALLY surprised me, was that she had it on THE BEST GLUTEN FREE DOUGH we've EVER had. Normally gluten free doughs just suck, but this one was WELL worth the $5 extra. I'm sure it's busy with a different crowd on Friday and Saturday nights, but we'll be coming back for sure because the pizza is well worth it. read more

Food is great. However be prepared for a very LOUD experience. The architecture is all hard surfaces and the echo amplifies every sound. Also be mindful of time of day - it can BAKE at certain time of the day - and can be uncomfortably HOT. Did I mention it is LOUD? Love Cane Russo and so happy to have one closer. My kids love both the pizza and pasta. Love an easy place for feeding them and they can run around. We love going to the location or doing delivery. We have had the artichokes, spicy chicken rigatoni, honey bastard, truff daddy, proscuitto & arugula. All great, can't wait to try more. I wasn't so sure about the outdoor space of order at the window but was so nice for a soccer party to have flexibility and not worry about having actual table service. Great drink choices as well. read more

Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.
