Bar area is long winding stone top, where you can sit & watch the bartender mix AND the pizza makers create. Plenty of high top and low top tables are available inside, and several tables outside on the shaded patio. TO EAT, YOU MUST start with the Brussels (words do them no justice, just order & savor every bite). If having weekday lunch, recommend the special (Mon-Fri 11am-3pm) of a 10" pizza + side salad (salad was smaller than I planned but the pizza was bigger so all worked out). Also, my lunch mate recommends for a pasta the Fettucine Alfredo (it was plentiful & creamy^2). OH, AND, there is a Pizza of the Month, so ask your server about it. I've heard so many great things about this place and since the location they had in my city closed before I had a chance to try it, I thought I'd give it a shot since I was in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I'm not very impressed. I came for lunch and ordered the lunch special which consisted of a 10 inch pizza and a salad. I choose the sausage pizza with Caesar salad for $16. The salad was the highlight. Great dressing and crisp romaine. It could have been a bit bigger but for a lunch special I'm not complaining. The pizza came out picture perfect. Beautiful. Unfortunately, it was luke warm, almost but not quite cold. The flavor was rather bland although the sausage was tasty, the sauce didn't have much flavor. The crust was soggy on the bottom. I'm not sure if this was premade for the lunch rush and just reheated but it did not live up to my expectations. Service was a little slow, maybe because I was a table of one. This place serves pizza crack. I swear I have gained A LOT of weight eating at this establishment! Everything on the menu I have tried is excellent. Their pizza crust is the best anywhere in the DFW area. Recently I tried the carbonara pasta - just excellent. I have tried all of their locations. This one is my personal favorite because I enjoy Ft. Worth. There is no parking lot to speak of, but there is street parking available. Service is never an issue. I always enjoy the food at Cane Rossa, but yesterday's experience was not good. I had to eat lunch late, and a mid-afternoon pizza sounded good, so I drove 15 minutes to CR. As I entered a customer was taking out a to go order. I went inside where I noticed there were no diners at the time. I'd noticed a table of 3 customers on the patio as I entered. I sat at the counter. Toward the back were 2 employees speaking. After 4-5 minutes, one of the employees took my order. After another 4-5 minutes, I could tell no one had started working on my drink, salad or pizza orders. At that point one of the customers came in from outside looking for someone to assist his table. I then decided it was time to leave. I don't understand restaurants that claim to be open but can't give decent service. I'll probably go back, but never between 11 and 1 or a "normal" dinner hour. read more

This was my first time here but won't be my last. It was actually recommended by family who doesn't live in Ft Worth because she saw it Diners Drive thru and Dives. My friend and I sat at the bar. It is a prime seat because you are right by the oven and it is a whole experience. We were greeted as soon as we sat down. Our waitress was awesome and answered all of my questions. I love that you can adjust ingredients which is huge for me because I'm on a pescatarian diet. My friend and I shared an appetizer and small pizza. The food was great! The pasta creations are done superbly and are cooked to perfection. The appetizers are delicious (I'm partial to the Brussels sprout as they have the best combo of flavors ever!), the cocktails are yummy and the pizza.... Probably the closest thing I've had to real Italian style pizza in the area. Living in Italy for a year made me a pretentious pizza snob; I didn't ask for it, and it's annoying, but I am very picky about (insert Italian accent here) pizza mia! And these guys HAVE IT.
