Great space inside! Lots of seating and if you reserve the nook it's a great way to have a private room for calls or some extra space. This summer they have their free drinks on Mondays which have been a hit and definitely busier, but the line always moves fast and the staff are so efficient with getting drinks out. I tried their spring menu item, chocolate covered cherry mocha which I loved and I also tried their summer menu item, the blueberry ube latte and love that too. I had an eventful day in the city, so happy to have Capital One Cafe around to get some work done on my laptop inbetween the meetings. The cafe is spacious, but it is also quite busy since everyone else has the same idea. They offer outlets, wifi, bathroom (although there's always a long line for it), and a fully stocked cafe with food and drinks. Dropped by since I'd never tried a Capital One cafe and there are several locations in the city. Overall not bad, good for those looking for a cafe to plop down and get work done. This location is pretty spacious (it used to be a Victoria's Secret store) with a long coffee bar, ample seating spread out in several lounge sections, as well several conference rooms that can be booked for private use in advance online or in person via QR code. At around 1:45pm on a Sunday it was pretty busy though not impossible to find a seat. The staff at the bar looked very busy, while the line for ordering wasn't long, a steady stream of people came and the wait for drinks was about 10-12 minutes. Additional staff members stood at entrances/exits welcoming customers. Coffee served here is from Verve roasters, and I think probably should've tried a coffee drink, though I was in the mood for matcha so tried their cherry vanilla matcha with oatmilk $7.50 (+ $1.00 for alt milk) instead. The matcha flavor was on the lighter side though to their credit you could taste both cherry and vanilla notes subtly. They weren't overpowered by the matcha. Fair cup sizes--16oz for a L, 12oz for a S (same as Starbucks tall and grande). Would drop by again if looking for a place to get work done on a laptop. Capital One banking and credit card customers get 50% off any handcrafted drinks, when I read the fine print at the bottom of a sign, it looked like a limit of one drink per customer, though it wasn't widely published elsewhere in the store. THE BIG: Pretty big Capital One Cafe in Midtown West. Lots of seating for those looking to sip their drinks or do work. Lines for drinks does get long during peak times (breakfast and lunch rushes). THE BLACK AND WHITE: I was needing a coffee after a big lunch and the Capital One Cafe was fortunately in sight. The interior is nice and modern with tons of natural light coming in from outside. It is more narrow than deep in terms of space. Only ordered a coffee here but I assume there is free wifi and there are associates available to help you with anything related to Capital One. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, a coffee here is around $4 and you can save about 20% if you use a Capital One branded card. The beverage quality is vast, featuring Verve Coffee Roasters. The Honey Lavender Latte was great; it's perfectly balanced and not too sweet. If you're a Capital One or Discover cardholder, the 50% discount on handcrafted drinks is an unbeatable deal in Manhattan. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient, even when it gets busy during the afternoon rush. Corporate name aside, this cafe is excellent! Seasonal drinks, spacious, with a pleasant hum inside, and perky greeters and front of house staff. My cinnamon maple latte was sweet, creamy, and rich; thankfully not bitter. There was an alternative milk upcharge, like most places. The staff simply asked if I had a Capital One card to apply the 50% cardholder discount. I don't know if I had to actually use the card at that point. The bathroom situation is less than ideal - on a Wednesday late morning there was persistently a line for the single stall. I think this might be the fanciest looking branch yet (I've visited a few of their other locations around lower Manhattan). There is seating that's very spaced out over one floor. It's a gigantic space though and also attached to the Capital One bank. There is one bathroom (fyi, closes 15 minutes before the cafe closes) and the cafe stops taking orders exactly at 7. I stopped by to redeem a free drink coupon for a hot matcha latte and I think I prefer the cold version more. Too bad the limited time strawberry matcha doesn't have a hot version. This place was a nice respite from the busy streets of herald square and the hot chocolate was delicious! My toddler agreed! It was a busy day when we went, but the staff were really nice and fulfilled orders as quickly as they could. There are several places for lounging, doing work or sitting to enjoy your drink or bakery item. I don't know if it's actually also still a working Capital One location, but there was definitely a working ATM and rooms for meetings. The line for the restroom can get long, but it's spacious and was clean. At the time that we went, they were also giving out holiday greeting cards and offering "grateful" bracelets right before Thanksgiving. I would come back here again when I'm in the area! read more

The staff doesn't need to keep bothering me in the corner. My lower back is in pain and I'm propping up my feet on the couch to take weight off it, and purposely did with my socks to not get the sofa dirty. It's not harming anyone. Twice I came into this cafe to discuss an important matter regarding my business account and the incompetence was insane. They didn't have an answer and gave me the wrong answer, but they made sure to come over and harass me twice about shoes etc. My lower back is bothering me, if I had sandals on my feet would be completely naked, why is this an issue and I'm getting so much attention for it at a bank, and yet, I came into with a question and waited around for answer regarding a business bank account as a loyal customer and local here, and the question couldn't be answered. There are 2 ATMs inside and 2 in the vestibule on 6th Ave which were very convenient with no or short wait times. But is this location good for its other offerings??? There was a very long line for the restroom. You might have better luck in Macy's. There's lots of seating but it's all full with very little turnover. There were quite a few people standing up using their laptops. With my bad back, that couldn't be me. I didn't even take advantage of my cafe discount as a Capital One member because there was no place to sit. The crowding at this cafe just highlights how Starbucks is failing the community. These cafes seem to be the new thing Capital One is expanding while closing numerous banking locations. I've had 4 locations that I regularly used close. 3 within the past 2 years.
