I ended up purchasing one from an auto parts store for 10% of what the dealership wanted to charge. Also, their online scheduling is always broken, I had to make an appt via phone, though I don't know why since I had to wait over 2.5 hours for a simple oil change. this dealership contacted me over a year ago wanting me to come look at a truck. I told them they had the wrong person and they continued contacting me for weeks. yesterday I as surprised to receive several text messages and text from them asking me once again to come look at a truck. i once again asked them to stop and got several more text. I called the salesman dimb*** and blocked him. he apparently then sent my contact information to every dealership in Austin and Houston as the next morning I have over 40 messages and text from various dealerships. this dealership harasses the people they do business with. stay away from them. Here is the long and short: We needed a new dually tire because we got a nail in our side wall. My husband called several days ago and we were assured that the appointment was set and the tire would be ordered. My husband very specifically made sure to get a verbal confirmation to that point. Showed up this morning and no tire. That would be fine except the service advisor, Lafayette, acted like it was my husband's fault. Like he should have known the part wasn't ordered because he didn't get an invoice... ??Like I said, my husband made sure to confirm with the dealership before he completed his phone call with them, that the tire would be there. They said yes. What else is he supposed to do? Hold your hand? Give me a break. They ended up ordering the tire and getting it in a few hours later. My husband then drove back to the dealership for a second time and was told by Lafayette that as soon as the vehicle that was currently in the bay was done, his truck would be next. To no surprise, that did not happen; another vehicle was pulled in (apparently it was getting upgrades, so they decided that was more important than what they told us). When he went to talk to the service manager about what was going on, he kept getting "not my fault. Not my fault. Not my fault" over the whole fiasco that has now taken up most of his day. I had the worst experience at this dealership that I have ever had over my 60 years of buying or leasing cars. The first salesperson was so terrible and so uninformed about the process that I had to ask for another salesperson to assist me. I spoke to the "Sales Manager" David. He was nice and I thought we were going to have a good transaction. He took down the information, apologized for a pricing mistake he had made in the quote and went up on the price about $1900.00. I agreed to the new price and said to move forward. I talked to the new salesperson and set up all the information they said they needed. I advised that my mother-in-law, 87 years old, would be coming in to get the car. It was for her, and all information was given to them about her. We set an appointment for the following day at 4 PM. She arrived at 4, and the paperwork was not filled out, the cat had not been washed and was not fully charged. She had to call several times to talk to me and I had to again give them the information already provided. Finally, after 2 1/2 hours they were able to drive out, but they did not get a full description of the features and how to use them. Horrible experience from beginning to end. I arrived, and an employee explained that I needed several documents to prove my identify that would not normally be on my person or in my glovebox. The person on the phone when I made the appointment failed to explain any of this to me. Unfortunately, I had only out-of-date documents, and the employee was unhelpful, refusing to allow me to use his computer to get on the Travis County Registration website. It was not a busy time. I spoke with Marty several times over the phone asking when we came in today, I wanted the best deal he could offer me. My son's dad and brother went in today to attempt to buy the car. The 26,500 price was an internet price???? It suddenly jumped to 29,000. Not sure I get that. They went on and finally settled on a price and interest rate. Their service department is horrific. They refused to cover a part that falls under warranty. I first asked the tech that was assigned and he said he was going to check with the warranty "expert". He comes and claims that it is not covered, so I show him again the document and I ask to talk to the warranty "expert". They have me wait for about 45 minutes, as I keep asking to speak to the "expert". The "expert" then shows up with the document in hand and I start asking him questions about the coverage, he looks at me as if I am making up the information, so I ask him if he is the "expert" that he claims to be, and then he says that he is not, he is just assuming this responsibility while the "expert" is out of office. At that point I have been waiting an hour and a half to pick up my truck and go home, but I didn't want to go until I got some name down with the refusal to cover the repair. I requested to speak with the manager, and apparently, he was in a very important conversation with an angry customer (not surprising...), so they had me wait for another 30 minutes. During these 30 minutes, i can see that a few techs have met in a corner and they are discussing my case. Following the mini-meeting, they come running at me all happy with an explanation of why it is not covered, however, been in an engineering field I will not be fooled that easily, so I explain to them why their reasoning is faulty. At this point I just want to pay for my repair and go home, so then I suggest calling the police to get someone's name down and pay my bill, but then magically the manager is free to discuss my case. He shows up and asks me, again, about the document. I show it to him and he says that it is not covered, so I politely request that he places his name on the bill with a refusal statement, to which he replies that he will not include his name on the document, but he suggests to place Chevrolet's name instead. I had already discussed my case with Chevy, so I knew that they transfer this power to the dealers, so I explain why that is an unsatisfactory route. He then proceeds to walk me to his office to take, another "closer look" at the document. By now is very obvious that what they are trying to do is find specific wording on the warranty to refuse the repair, but I challenge every attempt he makes to rationalize his argument. My patience finally snaps and I tell him that I am just going to call the police and be done with this whole thing, and I explain that later on I will use his name so I can sue him to get my money back. I made it very clear that he is lying, manipulating, and preying on customers simply because they lack mechanical knowledge, and that this is not an ethical business practice, to which he reasons that he has a business to run....very enlightening... He ends up covering the repair, but I would make sure to take my business elsewhere if I were you... read more

Tried to sell my 2023 car with 1,200 miles here and Jessie Folk at the dealership pulled a bait and switch. I emailed him the price I was willing to sell at and he said the price was fair but had to inspect the vehicle. I sent him all info on the car and the VIN number and then followed up to say I will only come in to the dealership if he would buy the car at the price I told him beforehand. I wanted a no hassle transaction. He confirmed yes so I brought the car in. He test drove the car and everything was perfect. Car was basically brand new so of course it was perfect. This is where it got sketchy. Jessie offered me 15% less than the established price saying that when he entered the mileage into his data base it came up with a lower price. I told him that he knew before I came in the mileage (1,200) and every detail of the card so why did pricing change so dramatically. He really did not have an answer and I said that's a bait and switch. He tried to argue that it wasn't but it clearly was. He said I was being disrespectful because I was getting upset and I told him I was not being disrespectful that when someone just lies and waste a persons time they get upset. The promises that the sales team made are not followed through on the service department end. I have a 2018 Traverse that I love. I am glad that I bought it. I just wish that I had not boughten it here. The salesman promised that I would have loaner cars when I had to have work done under warranty and that I would have free car washes for the life of the car. These promises were either deceiving or outright lies. When I recently called to schedule an appointment for service, I was told that there may or may not be a loaner available to me, due to COVID. They cannot predict because the loaners are first come, first serve. It seems to me that they could identify which of their customers will need loaners and reserve them with the appointments. I suspect they know that they don't have loaners and use the "first come, first serve" as a ploy to cram as many service appointments in as possible. When I tried calling the morning of my appointment to see if any loaners are available, I reached a voice mailbox and never get a call back. This is the usual case for them. Apparently the service managers do not check their VMs regularly nor do they answer their phones. When I arrived there, I met a man who had been waiting for 30 minutes for them to pull up his car. The service department had misplaced his keys and it had taken them that long to find them. This set the stage for what I have come to expect from the mayhem of the intake area there. I waited patient in my car for 15 minutes with each person arriving to tell me that someone would be with me in a minute. I kept asking each person that arrived if they had a loaner car available, but no answers until the last person arrived to check me in. He knew there were not without even checking, so it is clear that the others did as well, and just did not answer me. Each time that I have had a service or repair there, I have asked for a car wash. I have received one exactly one time in 3 visits. The other times, they tell me they are too busy. I did receive a card for a free drive through wash at Genie, though. They do this often enough that they have had cards made. The salesmen should have said that they would provide free car wash cards for the life of the vehicle. That would have at least been honest. Every time that I go there, it is chaotic and the people don't seem to know what is going on. The last time that I had service there, it had fresh door dings on it, but I didn't notice them until I got home and into the sunshine. They were pretty easy to see and it was apparent that someone else had noticed them because you could see that the dirt around them had been wiped off (no car wash!) I spoke to my service manager at the time and upon his request, sent him pictures. He told me he would get back with me the next day. I never heard from him and he doesn't work there any longer. Please save yourself some pain and get service elsewhere. I am moving my business to another dealer. It's just too bad I didn't read the reviews on here before purchasing my car from them. I don't think they really want to sell cars. Communication with them was horrible. I do not recommend dealing with this dealer. After reading the reviews on them I should've known better. I was dealing with Christine Canjay and Stephen Pratt, which neither of them seemed to be very competent. I don't know how they can get confused on what car I was trying to purchase. I gave an offer and both of them said they will present to their manager which to get to that point took entirely too long. My offer should've been dealt with within minutes after. I never heard back from either one of them via email so I text Christine asking for an update which I never heard back from her. So today I see the car I wanted to purchase has sold. This was the worst experience I have ever had in any service department. I brought my car in on August 3rd - they said it would be diagnosed with in 3-7 business days. But that was not the case. My car was not looked at until around the 16th of August. My service advisor did not even close to promptly answer any of my calls or messages. There was zero transparency nor communication from the service department. The only way I knew what was going on was after I left a message with the service manager. And he would call me. So I left my car there and told the part came in on the 16th. There were things on the we owe that also needed to be done. And I was told that every thing was addressed but that was a lie. When I got totally exasperated and after spending close to 600.00 on a car rental for this whole time, waiting for my car. I went to pick it up this Morning and was told that , the used car manager not my sales man was no longer working there. So I am very angry . And was not informed of this . They held my car for almost an extra week. Doing nothing. A mechanic did not look at it until 14 full days of the car being there. Anytime during that time I could have informed me that they could not complete the we owe. But my service advisor sent me a text saying it was all completed and was waiting to do the paint chips. Which was all a big lie!!!!!!! This is insane!! My 2nd key was not made , which he said it was. My car was not detailed like he said it was . Nor the full tank of gas This is the most Horrific experience I have ever had. The blatant lies and the lack of any communication. And the kicker is that I have worked in the service department at Ford and Chevrolet for about 5 years.
