    Fried Haddock

Our first stop on our roadtrip to Rhode Island for a Costal Weekend. This is a local watering hole, where you can slow down and have a drink while enjoying the sea breeze. A great place to relax after being in the car a few hours. But it gets busy after 7:00 pm and the parking lot was full. The fried haddock tasted fresh with a light breading. The focus was on the fish. I prefer a crispier beer battered breading. The clam chowder left me disappointed, I prefer a prefer a thicker chowder with more savory flavors. This felt like more of a soup. This was my first time ordering clam cakes. They were very similar to hush puppies. The service was an average experience. Overall felt ok, not super impressed but not bad either.

Awesome place, wonderful service, fantastic food, huge serving at great prices. Great casual dining, we go a couple times a month. The best stop for lunch, dinner also the dessert is amazing.

    Lobster roll and Cole slaw.

Amazing food and service. Oysters were great and only $1 a shuck (before 4:00). Hard to find that nowadays. Steamers and lobster rolls were on point as well. Love this place!

*Cap'n Jack has two locations next to each other* This place - The Salt Marsh Pub & Raw Bar - was so underrated. Went there last minute based off their decent google reviews and couldn't be happier. Sat outside with a beautiful view, staff was attentive and friendly, beer was great, and food was delicious! We'd go back when we're in town again. Highly recommend:)

Came here at 11 am on a Saturday right at opening. Staff were ready to welcome us in. We opted to sit outdoors which was a patio overlooking a salt marsh. The server was friendly and made sure that we were doing well, she even came to talk to us about the bunnies and the birds that hang out in the area. Got the chowder and clam cakes. Chowder definitely had a lot of seafood and potatoes in it. Clam cakes are like big pieces of fried bread with clam in it. I've never had it before and was pleasantly surprised by the crispy exterior and soft chewy interior. It was a little too heavy for me so I only finished one cake. Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Fresh perfectly cooked seafood, delicious cocktails and wonderful attentive friendly servers! Nancy, our server, was the best! She helped with our menu selection and was great. The Seafood Cioppino was tasty and had generous portions of shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops in a light tomato broth over pasta. The fish and chips special was so good, as was the plump clam cakes and the chowder was great. The view of the salt marsh at sunset was so pretty. We absolutely can't wait to visit soon!

Food was horrible. If you want seafood thats actually edible just got to Matunuck Oyster Bar. Staff was very rude too.

Rating: 4.3 Came to…read morethe place for lunch with family and friends. We reserved an outside tent for the lunch. It's a nice restaurant located right by the ocean in Narraganset. Complimentary valet parking available along with street parking. Once we got there we were directed to the outside tent seatings. Looks like they have a theme for each one and one we were at was winter themed. Inside was nice and cozy and was quite warm. Once we got seated we looked at the menu and placed order for some drinks and appetizers. We got some oysters and prime rib cheese egg rolls. They were both delicious. Oysters were fresh. I got a non alcoholic drink the country road which was fruity and refreshing. I ended up getting lobster mac and cheese. Lots of lobster meat and cheesy macaronis with bread crumb was tasty. Service was excellent and waiter was very attentive and came to check in multiple times. Overall it's a nice spot for nicer meal. Price is on the higher side but food was pretty good. Outside seating was $100 per group and for 3 hours so not too bad. Downside was that ventilation was poor so it was pretty hot inside and only way to cool down was to keep the door propped open but it was windy day so door kept banging and the next group was doing the same thing. Probably a good idea to put a window on the door or something. Some of the tables were also pretty wobbly which was a but annoying.

I got the smash burger with a side of fries (shoestring, my favorite). It was delicious, perfectly cooked and not greasy. The bun was sesame bun was so fresh. My friend raved about her shrimp tacos and they looked yummy. We went in April on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy but I know it's a popular place and gets packed on the weekends. They had several TVs and this would be a great place to watch some sports and have a drink. Parking was fine for us but I could see it being a problem when it's busier. The prices were reasonable (great for Narragansett) and I noticed they had different weeknight promotions. Food is ordered on an app and picked up at the counters, sort of food court style. A must visit and I'll be sure to be back!

Let's start off with the fact that currently on weekends from 10-12 if you purchase a cocktail, mocktail or NA beverage, you get a free brunch item. Like, wow! I got a mini Oreo mudslide (wow!!!) and got a free breakfast pizza. I'm literally OBSESSED with this pizza and am so sad I'm like 75 minutes from this spot. If I was local, I'd be there every weekend! It was so good! I also got the BOONwich for best sandwich RI and it was super creative. They are not playing with food here---they def mean business! Everything is unique and absolutely amazing. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I came in contact with at least half a dozen staff while there and each person was friendly and personable. The ambiance was fun, and looks even more like a blast when it's warm out. I'll def be back!
