I actually enjoyed this place. It was hard to park in, had great looking tables with quite the view to them, had some awful beers on tap, but also had a fantastic fish sandwich. It seems strange but it was an off season visit with a much needed virtual taste of the summertime. I have to say it was close.

Friendly service and very good food! I had the lobster mac & cheese and my son had the swordfish. Both were soooo delicious but honestly the two shining items were the lobster in the mac & cheese and the rice with the swordfish. Usually the rice would be so secondary but it was so tasty and it complimented the swordfish so beautifully. The lobster in the mac & cheese was so generous and it was such an elevated mac & cheese! I would recommend Captain Scott's any time!

They have a huge menu so I was initially excited by this place but it was disappointing. Service was quite slow even though there were 2 servers, one was quite rude and the other messed up my order even though I literally pointed to what I wanted. Only plusses were the $5.99 sangria and the fact they had special deals (salad, entree, and dessert). My clam strips were average at best, if you are looking for quality seafood this is not the place.

We saw thier bar menu on face book and just had to stop in and check it out. The place is clen and well kept, the bar tender was attentive and polite. Plenty of parking. Only 14 seats at the bar. No popular beer on draft (just my opinion) domestic beers are $5 bottle. Foods here, broiled fish sandwich, sorry not impressed, dry pieces of haddock and a bun, mostly bread. The baked scrod was fine. Both meals ordered with mashed. Mine was half the size of hers. Buter nut squash was tasty. We might be back for a second time idk.

Asti was still known as Estia when we were here a few years ago. Some overlap with another business…read morerequired them to change their name at some point since then, but we enjoyed the same great food and service this time too. It is on W. Main St in Falmouth on the first stretch off of Locust St, which is the Falmouth town name for the road to Woods Hole. There is street parking and a little lot alongside and behind it, though have never found space there. The Greek food is the best I have had since my years growing up in CT. We always have a good time and this summer we were able to get patio seats out front. It's cavernous inside and good for bad weather and large parties. We have eaten inside on other trips when it was colder or rainy. It's fine and comfortable seating and a bit roomier between tables. There are booths inside too. We ate dinner here the night we arrived and again the night before we left. It has become our tradition now. Both nights, we had excellent service and excellent food. We did have the exact same dessert both nights since we had liked it so well the first night and we didn't see anything more balanced for both of our tastes. And their desserts are large enough to share. We had a variety of appetizer items for a smaller meal the first night, tired from having driven from Hartford, via Narragansett, for a stop to see friends. It is the long way to the Cape from Hartford, but seeing our friends was worth it as they have never travelled to CO. The second night we chose larger individual plates based on the items we tried the first night and had another great meal. One of the plates was their enormous version of spanakopita and the other was a large plate of the lamb "lollipops," glorified yummy grilled lamb skewers. We had drinks too. All in all it was truly the quality of food we have come to expect from them. It is family owned and a very polished operation with a vibrant bar inside. All ages were represented in the customer base and I understand that the locals love it too, but they mostly attend off season. It and all of Falmouth was mobbed the week we were there, just before the annual Falmouth Road Race.

I went with the grape leaves as my side and grabbed a Smartwater. Simple and a solid value. Let's start with the pita, because I'm a texture nut and this thing was perfect, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The gyro itself was packed, literally spilling out with filling, and was super flavorful. I'll admit I went in expecting the typical lamb/beef, so the pork caught me off guard. Turns out after doing some reading on the inter-webs, pork is actually the authentic Greek preparation and the lamb/beef is the more Turkish/American take on it. Either way, one bite and I was a convert. The grape leaves were everything you want them to be; briny, punchy, and packed with filling. No complaints there. As for the ambiance, another reviewer put it best: "I wouldn't take my first date here." Fair enough. But for a quick, no-fuss lunch? It was perfect. Between 12 and 1 this place was absolutely jamming, with barely a seat to spare, which should tell you something. Not to mention I heard the staff greet many people by name. I'll be back, and next time I'm bringing my partner. She loves Greek food and this place deserves a proper visit.

The place looked as good as it ever. We like the decor, the layout and the photographs on the wall. The owner, George, was seated at his usual place by the bar and somewhat surprisingly remembered my name! After settling in and ordering drinks, we decided to share a bunch of dishes (hard to choose from an excellent menu). In the end we settled on the following: Spanakopita, Fasolakia, Patates Lemonates, Souvlaki, a side pita (to mop up some of the flavors), and the ( most expensive dish on the menu at $46) the four delicious Padakia lamb chops. Although we were full we had the Portokalopita for dessert. Our server, Daniel and his helper, were cheerful and attentive. The check came to $45 per person - well worth it. It was an outstanding evening of excellent food with good company: one of the best meals we have eaten in quite a while. One cannot ask for more, and had to give the place a rare five stars. We may have caught an off night. Service was friendly and attentive--especially considering there appeared to be just one server covering the room--but the kitchen was very slow. The delay carried over to our second round of cocktails as well. The biggest issue was the keftedes (our last dish), which unfortunately came out undercooked (rare) in the center. We'll give them another try, as there's clearly potential here.
