I actually enjoyed this place. It was hard to park in, had great looking tables with quite the view to them, had some awful beers on tap, but also had a fantastic fish sandwich. It seems strange but it was an off season visit with a much needed virtual taste of the summertime. I have to say it was close.

Friendly service and very good food! I had the lobster mac & cheese and my son had the swordfish. Both were soooo delicious but honestly the two shining items were the lobster in the mac & cheese and the rice with the swordfish. Usually the rice would be so secondary but it was so tasty and it complimented the swordfish so beautifully. The lobster in the mac & cheese was so generous and it was such an elevated mac & cheese! I would recommend Captain Scott's any time!

They have a huge menu so I was initially excited by this place but it was disappointing. Service was quite slow even though there were 2 servers, one was quite rude and the other messed up my order even though I literally pointed to what I wanted. Only plusses were the $5.99 sangria and the fact they had special deals (salad, entree, and dessert). My clam strips were average at best, if you are looking for quality seafood this is not the place.

We saw thier bar menu on face book and just had to stop in and check it out. The place is clen and well kept, the bar tender was attentive and polite. Plenty of parking. Only 14 seats at the bar. No popular beer on draft (just my opinion) domestic beers are $5 bottle. Foods here, broiled fish sandwich, sorry not impressed, dry pieces of haddock and a bun, mostly bread. The baked scrod was fine. Both meals ordered with mashed. Mine was half the size of hers. Buter nut squash was tasty. We might be back for a second time idk.

I have been going here for years, and thankfully, it's not closer cause I would be going far more often, and I'd be broke! The staff is always friendly, and the freshness of everything is as good as it gets. You will see what I mean by that when you walk in the door. The clam chowder they offer is fantastic, and the lobster roll kits they have available are as fresh as they get and are very reasonable priced at $18.99 What great about the lobster roll kits for me is it has all the lobster parts, not just the claws and knuckles which I find kind of boring. I love that a lot of their stuff is locally caught as well. If you are looking for the best of the best and the freshest seafood available, then this is your place!

The lobster bisque was disappointing and quite bland, especially given the hype. We also ordered a cup of clam chowder and it barely had any clams in it and was also very bland. I ordered a lobster roll and a separate order of onion rings as well. The lobster roll was just okay , the lobster itself was cooked well, but there wasn't a lot of meat for the price, so it didn't feel like a great value. The onion rings were fine but nothing special. The setup is more of a quick-service style: you order at the counter, get a buzzer, sit down, and then go pick up your food when it's ready. It's convenient enough if you're looking for something fast and casual, but between the bland bisque and chowder and the average lobster roll, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again. I probably wouldn't stop here next time.

We sat outside under a full moon with beautiful string lights and the gentle sound of the water and boats tucked into the docks on our last evening on the cape. Open all year with an interesting history behind the property. A must visit. I loved that they were so helpful with GF alterations and menu items marked. It is a shared fryer. I enjoyed the Jonah Stuffed Haddock * without the bread crumbs. The person I dined with really enjoyed the Lobster Mac and cheese and same meal without alterations. I was really happy to see all the gluten-free options they had on the menu and our server was amazing. They have really good options on the menu from crispy dragon rolls to blackened halibut and, of course, lobster rolls. But I chose the bacon lobster tomato and it was perfect for lunch. Their gluten-free bun was a fluffy and rice flour based (for all of you with nut allergies to almond flour) the fries are not gluten free (we got plates to split to try more) The salmon carpaccio was a great appetizer and we also got the Sword fish dish. The house clam chowder is a MUST get and next time I'm definitely going to order the lobster Mac and cheese. The view was super nice. We had a great day to eat outside/ inside right along the indoor patio window. Overall I'd come back here and recommend you try this restaurant when you come to the cape!

The brewery is right on the beach, so you have stunning oceanfront views from basically every seat. There's a bunch of outdoor seating (which is kind of shaded, but was still sooo hot in July), a really cool tap room upstairs, and one of the best brewery merch stores I've seen on the ground floor. We visited on 4th of July weekend, so the minimal parking next the brewery was totally full. Luckily, there's an overflow lot with a shuttle van about 5 minutes down the road. It was pretty tricky to find however, so be sure to ask the staff in the on-site parking lot for specific directions if you need to get there. They serve all the same great beer you expect from Tree House, plus they have a nice little cocktail bar outside, so there's something for everyone. I really liked the Cape Hound and the Rum Punch. They also have great pizzas and lobster rolls, which are a bit pricey but worth the splurge in my opinion. You can also pick up cans to go here, and because Tree House doesn't distribute otherwise, that's a huge win for any locals in the area. Great spot to visit on your trip to Cape Cod. We'll be back!
