Okayyyy this place made SUCH a good first impression. They started us off with warm fresh bread and butter and honestly... that already had me sold. Nothing hits harder than fresh bread at the table. We ordered the calamari and it was chef's kiss. Super crispy, perfectly seasoned, not greasy at all, and the marinara tasted so fresh and homemade. Like the kind of appetizer you accidentally keep eating even when you swear you're saving room for your entrée. The Caesar salad was also so good -- perfectly dressed, fresh, crunchy, and balanced without being overly heavy. For my main, I got the Penne alla Vodka with added chicken and WOW. The sauce was rich, creamy, flavorful, and had that perfect comforting pasta energy. The chicken was juicy, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and every bite just hit. You know a pasta dish is good when the whole table goes silent for a minute. Everything tasted high quality and made with care, which honestly makes such a difference. Definitely one of those spots where you immediately start planning what you're ordering next time before you even leave. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu because if this was the first impression... I already know there are more hits waiting.

Tried this restaurant in Hopes for decent Italian. The lavender martini is made with cheap vodka. When we explained to the hostess that it was not very sweet and lacking the smooth texture a martini should have said it was no problem and that she would take it off the bill. We asked if we could just substitute it with a lavender lemonade. She said no problem. The bill arrived and we were still charged $16 for a cheap and nasty martini on top of being charged for the additional lemonade. The chicken Parmesan was a dry fried slab of chicken smothered in Marinara sauce and cheese. No flavor with a poor attempt to make it taste decent by overwhelming it with cheese. The potatoes and vegetables were also bland and flavorless. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

The food and service was great once again. My husband and I like to sit in the bar area to listen to the live music while enjoying our meal. Today we both got a cocktail me an espresso martini & he got a Gold Rush both were good. For appetizers we got the burrata bruschetta which is always amazing (sorry no pic we devoured them) we also tried the special bacon wrapped dates. These were good served with arugula & blue cheese, I think would be a little better if the dates were stuffed with the cheese. For dinner my husband got his usual the lobster ravioli. This dish is amazing the raviolis are cooked perfectly with the right amount of lobster in them and the shrimp that's also served with the ravioli are cooked perfectly also. I ordered the tortellini genovese this was very good just the right amount of sauce and the pasta cooked perfectly.

Parking: Plenty available (spots also available around / to the side of the building) Ambience: Great dressed-up date night vibes--live music with dim lighting and candles. Service: Standard, could pick up dirty dishes more quickly, but overall good and no complaints! Taste: Got the burrata bruschetta--tad bit too much balsamic glaze for my preference, but overall delicious combination of flavors! Cara mia pizza was lovely and had such a creamy, rich flavor. Fettucine alfredo was unremarkable, didn't taste like much. Tiramisu was decent!

The family decided to get together for dinner. Our original plan was to go to a buffet, however due to the long lines to get in, we opted for something local. In this we discover Cara Mia; and Italian restaurant. With five and a half empty stomachs we decided to check out this spot; and we are glad we did. We were greeted and seated immediately upon our arrival. The staff was very friendly, attentive and made us feel like part of their family. From the food to the drinks and even the live music, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Can't wait to check this spot out again soon.

Another great meal. Sorry I ate before taking the pic. But the stomach wants what the stomach wants. When your stomach brain takes over your Yelp brain. Try the special. Amazing.

Customer service and ambiance is great. They are very pricey & to be honest the flavor is not equivalent to the cost. I've tried their food twice and I'm not impressed enough to go back.

Fresh in-house, handmade, delicious pastas & flavorful sauces, customer service can use a little bit of tweaking. You order at the counter, pay & then your food is delivered to your table. There were about 4-5 counter height tables:/hairs. We sat at a regular table to accommodate my foot with a boot. The food arrived at a reasonable amount of time. Of note, unrelated to our visit, an issue erupted between a customer & a patron that felt uncomfortable for myself & our group because it became a shouting match. This definitely could've been handled in a more professional manner. I'm not placing any blame on either party but de-escalating it would've been appreciated. Overall, the food was delicious. The pasta tasted fresh. The pesto sauce was a tad salty for my taste but it was flavorful. The meatballs were soft, you can taste the quality in their food. We noticed a few flies/gnats flying around our areas & had to swat them away plenty of times. Despite the issues encountered, our group had a pretty good enough time at this pasta shop. I hope the business owner is able to take some of these things in consideration for the sake of its success. Thank you.

The mortadella app was interesting. For one, the mortadella was sliced thicker than I prefer - though it advertised as thinly sliced - and the fritters were not fritter-ing. If a dish could taste flat, this one did. I was also surprised with the calamari because it was very mild and plain. It lacked flavor and no amount of sauce could save it. I felt like there were a lot of misfires throughout the meal. -the vodka pasta ($18) swam in a lot of sauce. It was so watery and lacked flavor. -rib-eye ($48) was under-presented on a plain ole white plate. And it was very much under seasoned. The best dish of the evening was the wood oven short rib ($35). It's a braised short rib with mashed potatoes, charred spinach, spicy roasted carrots, horseradish cream + ajus. The meat was so tender and flavorful, but honestly, what had me was the charred spinach - they were delightfully crispy. I liked it a lot. A few of the things we ordered were no longer offered on the menu which I thought was strange going into a busy weekend without an updated menu. There were some good eats, but lots of mid things and not worth the money. Despite my own personal preferences, I think Biest is worth a try if you need a cutesy restaurant in the area.

I ended up in the corner, which was a perfect spot to enjoy the atmosphere and do a little people watching. They have a great happy hour and daily specials. The steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster was excellent, and even the drawn butter was served at the right temperature. I finished with the peach tart for dessert, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, my daughter's $47 entrée contained a metal wire bristle from a grill/cleaning brush. Thankfully, she noticed it before swallowing it, but this could have resulted in a very serious injury. To the restaurant's credit, the manager came over promptly, apologized sincerely, and handled the situation professionally. We appreciated that acknowledgment. We also chose not to make a scene or demand anything because we understand that mistakes can happen. What disappointed us was how the situation was ultimately handled. When our bill arrived, my daughter's entrée was actually charged twice. We had to point out the duplicate charge to our waiter. When he returned with the corrected bill, one of the duplicate charges had been removed, but the remaining $47 entrée--the one that contained the metal wire--was still on the bill. We were then told that my daughter's dessert had been made complimentary. While we appreciated the gesture of the complimentary dessert, it seemed to fall well short of what would have been appropriate given the circumstances. A dessert does not compare to paying for a $47 entrée that contained a dangerous foreign object. This review isn't meant to criticize the quality of the food, it was outstanding. It's about the response to a significant food safety issue. I believe most guests would expect that a meal containing a metal wire bristle would be removed from the bill without question. Instead, we left feeling disappointed that the resolution did not reflect the seriousness of what had occurred. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that the restaurant reviews its food preparation and grill cleaning procedures to ensure this doesn't happen to another guest.
