Wow this place was so good and insanely cheap. My top 3 favorite food is fried catfish and they made it so perfect I have zero notes. I usually like some seasoning or sauce on it but it was so good it didn't need anything. The corn was also great like I've never had Cajun sauce on my corn and it was INSANE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can't believe this place was empty when we went tbh like it's a new go to in Raleigh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the fact EVERYTHING WAS $30??? Cmon like it doesn't get better than that. The people were SO NICE too.

This is what we got it was a lot of food and filled us up. So good

I went to Cary crab house yesterday and let me tell you the food came out so quick I got the the shrimp with no head and snow crab with bang bang sauce, it can with corn, 2 eggs and 2 potatoes it was so good service was good and food was amazing.

the food was good the seafood was fresh but crab could have more meat. service was alright, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambience was great[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Crab legs 1/2lb with corn and potato boil with boom sauce for me and tenders for my bf since he doesn't like seafood.
    Justeene G.

First time coming here and wanted to try a boil after hearing how good they are. Got the crab legs 1/2lb and the waiter offered corn and potatoes since it doesn't come with 1/2lb so I said sure. And the boom sauce. Made a good choice with the sauce cause I like sour/salty and it was sooooo good! The menu could be improved since some of the prices were smudged and the waiter had to tell us how much each thing was. But I would definitely recommend and come back!

We stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing--I'm guessing many diners were coming from church. Thankfully we made a reservation because every table seemed to fill up quickly. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I waited longer than expected to receive my food. The potatoes were delicious. The peel and eat shrimp were warm, and lacked flavor. I ordered fish and shrimp to go. We sat outside this day, as the weather was mild and there wasn't any available seats inside. We ordered a fried combo and a grilled combo. TrySeafood does a lot of things right. Portion size was fairly generous. We especially love the fact they serve cleaned jumbo shrimp. Food was cooked well, shrimp was tender as was scallops. The broccoli was not tender crisp nor mushy. The potatoes and corn were delicious. While service was friendly, it was a bit slow. Also, I'm not an Old Bay fan. The grilled shrimp were seasoned with Old Bay. While the fish was crispy, I prefer a cornmeal dredge to a flour dredge. Finally, (and this could have been a me thing) the tip percentage on the screen doesn't align with the math. I intended to tip 15% - which is standard especially considering slow service. That should have been approx $8 and when I got home I realized it was approximately $16. You're not given a printed receipt and if you're in a rush and going through the process quickly it's easy to miss. Again I may have missed something, but I'm pretty sure I selected the %15 option. Additionally, I've seen other restaurants that have intentionally include this practice. Would I go again, sure. I'd request a different seasoning blend or a light seasoning and check that math! This was gloves on, sleeves up, seafood bag on the table and get to WORK! I went for the seafood boil, and that was absolutely the right decision. Between the crab legs, shrimp, corn and potatoes covered in all that buttery, garlicky seasoning, there was no cute way to eat it--and honestly, that's half the fun. The seafood was flavorful, the portions were filling, and the sauce was the kind you keep dipping everything back into even after you've already told yourself you're full. I also liked that the atmosphere was lively and casual. You could come with friends, family or on a fun date and not feel like you have to be overly proper. The music and energy made it feel more like a night out than just grabbing dinner. And please understand: do NOT wear something you're emotionally attached to. Between cracking crab legs, peeling shrimp and that sauce, you are taking a risk! Put the bib on and let your pride go. Overall, Crafty Crab was messy, flavorful, filling and fun--which is exactly what I want from a seafood boil. I'd absolutely go back for the crab legs and shrimp alone.
