Casa Asia has been my favorite place for Asian food in Whitestone. They offer a variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisines. I've tried all three and I have to say, they're by far the best I had as far as take-out goes. They have a lunch special and a dinner special for folks on a budget. They also have hand rolls(6 pieces) and chef specialty rolls(10 pieces+). Their Pad Thai is great but it can be overwhelmingly sweet. Chinese food hits the spot! I have never had an experience like this. Terrible!!!!!! This waitress sits me and my boyfriend in then kept saying what you want. Then when we order she gave us the soup and whatever comes with it. I wasn't even done she took it off the table and kept walking around the table having us to finish. Not once did she ask if I want anything or how's everything but she kept picking up things off my table and gave me my check with out asking. I loveeee the rocky shrimp tempura, mango lobster and general Tsos chicken, however they forgot the rice with our order. My friends and I were starving so that's why they lost the stars since it was missing in our delivery. We didn't bother calling back to only wait on the rice. Please read the health reviews and their point violations. This place is a roach haven. I've personally seen them in the dining room and the staff act like it is commonplace and make a joke of it. i am a sushi lover, and after two visits to casa asia, i will never eat sushi here again. i love spicy mayo but hate when it tastes like mayo. of the four or five rolls i tried that had spicy mayo, it was like there was only mayo in the sauce. this is a huge peeve of mine with sushi. i also had the wonton soup, which was good. personally i prefer to eat sushi in solely japaenese restaurants. one waittress also seemed not to understand english, which was frustrating when trying to order. our conversation was in person and it was difficult to get an answer, so i can't imagine ordering over the phone. my honest opinion - go to yamato on francis lewis. read more

I don't live in whitestone, not even close. but one of my friends recommend me to go there becuz they mail their menu to her house and what they showed on the menu seems delicious. So, we decided to give it a try. The waitress is awesome, kind, sweet and she definitely know how to serve the customers and make them happy. she gave us some roll and sake sample for FREE. They have not only Japanese food, but also Thai, Chinese style, especially the way they make sushi is totally different than other Japanese store I've ever had. The freshest sushi in NY if you ask me! So delicious and consistently on point with flavor, presentation and taste. The wine and drinks selection are very nice too. The servers are polite and know what's on the menu and the specials for the day. Go for the special, always a good choice for starters. The Thai dishes that I've had have also been delicious. I just moved to flushing a little over a month ago and this has easily became my go to order spot. The sushi is fantastic and fresh, chicken and broccoli is delicious and maybe the sauce is a little lighter on the brown then most Chinese spots but that's a plus for me. Today I tried the pad Thai which is not a traditional pad Thai at all but it's still totally delicious. It's mixed in a chili sauce instead of a traditional sauce but it still has the salty and sweet and spicy qualities I want from a pad Thai, plus the bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, and lime. Last few times I ordered, the delivery guys asked me to come down to get my food because they couldn't find parking which is annoying. However, I called to let the restaurant know my frustration especially when I leave a nice tip for deliveries and the lady that i spoke to was very very nice and assured me that she will speak to the boss and make a note to make sure it doesn't happen again. I went here for my birthday dinner with two of my friends and both my parents, and was overall pleased. I got a crunchy Cali roll and shrimp tempura roll, my friend got the special lobster mango roll, parents both got lo mein: one chicken, one shrimp, another got two other rolls. I can say mine was great and I was happy with my choices, and I loved the interior of the store. We were seated immediately at this nice reserved higher area booth with a glowing light on the side. I had green tea fried ice cream, and the waitress found out it was birthday beforehand and the dessert had an amazing display, and there was this glowing flower that opened up into candles and played music and spun around continuously until the waitress came and took it away to stop it lol. I actually didn't really like the outside skin of the ice cream but I loved the ice cream itself, but it could be a personal dislike. Their pad thai sucks!! Mixing some hot sauce with chicken and noodles is not pad thai! For $9.95, all I have to say is, don't get the Pad thai from Casa Asia, you will be disappointed!! The only bright side of my order was I got $5 off for using Google Wallet! My coworker and I went to lunch there last Friday. I usually place my order online and go pick it up. I never sat down to have lunch there, it was my first time. The food is decent. I enjoy the california rolls. After our food came out, I reached for the soy sauce and a roach crawled out from under it. GROSS! My coworker flicked it off of the table. I alerted one of the waitresses and all she did was step on it. She did not try to rectify the situation at all. Horrible service. Another waiter rudely interrupted our lunch every couple of minutes to remove and garbage we had. She reached in front of us while we were trying to eat to remove the garbage each time. Seeing how Casa Asia has 4.5/5 on both Grub Hub and Delivery.com, I decided to give it a try. The sushi here is not of the best quality, but nonetheless tastes great and is filling. I would recommend the special rolls they have here. I have tried almost all of them and found them to be quite delicious! Besides the sushi, I have also tried their Chinese and Thai menu: General Tso's Chicken and their Pad Thai. Both come in large portions. I can either finish it and be sickly full or eat 1/2-3/4 and be satisfied! I order from them often and I would say the biggest plus is their quick delivery. Many reviews say that the delivery is either on time or a bit late, but I found it to be the exact opposite. The delivery comes either on time or 5-10 minutes early... maybe it's because of the close proximity to the restaurant. I do recommend others to try Casa Asia. You won't be disappointed! read more

This place is an absolute hidden gem. It is without a doubt my favorite restaurant, For the amount of food you get the prices are extremely reasonable. The Godzilla roll is my favorite, it is one of the special rolls, Ive never been anywhere else where a special roll will come with about 17 rolls for only $11. They have an awesome variety of different Asian cuisines, Japanese is definitely the best. The staff is always friendly and the service is fast as well.
