    Tulum roll
    Mahisha D.

THE FOOD: A little bit of a mixed bag, but there were definitely some highlights. The Tulum Roll and Casa Brasa Roll were easily the stars of the night; fresh, flavorful, and well balanced. Definitely worth ordering. On the other hand, the Kamilla Roll and the Salmon Roll didn't quite hit the mark for me. They weren't terrible, just a bit underwhelming compared to the stronger dishes on the menu. THE VIBE: Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is a 12/10. Stylish, energetic, and perfect for a night out with friends or a fun dinner date. The space feels very Dallas; you trendy, lively, and just the right amount of upscale without being pretentious. THE SERVICE: Service was solid overall. Staff was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving smoothly throughout the night. Overall: Casa Brasa is definitely worth checking out for the vibe alone, and if you order the right rolls, the food can really shine too. I'd come back just for the atmosphere and those standout rolls

Chocolate Cake - great presentation, ok taste!

DJ Pumping Saturday Night Dinner Date. Exotic jungle ambiance at foyer seating; sultry nightclub scene at bar and interior dining room. No complaints to all the energetic servers keeping up to the fast beats of a full house. Spectacular presentation of each course. Intriguing citrus-forward "Chargrilled Oysters"; Exceptional fennel-veracruzana lobster sauce to Casa Brasa's full-bodied "CHILEAN SEABASS"; and, sliced straight from the fridge bland "chocolate cake" tasted. Many more reservations I'll be making to Casa Brasa. Trying a different dessert in making CB a complete EXHILARATING visit! CHEERS!

Loved my dining experience at Casa Brasa! The food, the drinks, the vibes, the service were 10/10! I went for a girls dinner both times and it did not disappoint! I tried many dishes and everything was pretty good! Some of my favorite standout dishes were the cauliflower, chili hama and tai truffle (these are the cold appetizers), Mexican fattoush salad and the pork short rib carnitas! The cauliflower dish is a must get!!! We all loved it so much, cooked deliciously and the sauce on it was so flavorful! One of my favorite cauliflower dishes from any restaurants! The first time I went I didn't try any sushi because the Mexican/sushi combo sounded a little interesting but the second time we tried some rolls! They were good but I think their other dishes stand out more! The drinks here are also super cute and yummy too! I highly recommend this restaurant for a celebration dinner or just a girls night or even a date night!! So cute inside! Definitely making it to my top favorite restaurants in Dallas!

Outstanding ambiance and amazing cocktail program. I've been for lunch and for late night drinks and both times we had an amazing time. Lunch service was top notch and I really enjoyed the ambiance. Restaurant wasn't too crowded and we had a great meal. I particularly enjoyed the house chips and salsa dips. The habanero one has some legit heat. I got the picana steak cut and it was amazing. The Brazilian cut is one of my favorites. The late night cocktail visit was great and they had some tasty house peanuts too. I liked the cocktails they had premade in what looked like clear barrels (obviously just for storage). All in all a great spot that lives up to the fancy buildout hype.

We were very excited to try this place and walking in, it looked lovely. The bar itself was a vibe and looked amazing. Overall, the aesthetics of the place was on point, but the music was all over the place (and loud at times). Food was decent, but not exceptional to where I would highly recommend a dish. The starter - tostadas and salsas were delicious as were the starters. Sushi was good with a little bit of a twist, but pricey! However, nothing wow-ed us from the entrees or even dessert. The biggest turn off was management. The arrogance and discrimination was so evident. We came early (5:00pm) and were one of the few tables in the building for a little bit. We saw management go from table to table to check on people and chat yet we were skipped. It is hard to think it was because we were the only folks of color in the building at that time and not dripping of glam and glitz. However, our server was super sweet but also nervous as she was new to the restaurant and to town. We tried to ease her nerves the best we could, but sadly the vibe itself due to the other folks working / management was not really worth it to me. The other big turn off - the valet. We texted for our car 5 minuets before leaving our table and it was not there, which is fine. However, after 20 minutes, it asked us to try again. Overall, it was at least 45 minutes till our car came around and it was not even busy. This is simply not acceptable. If you have anything going on after the meal (like me - a flight), don't.

Casa Brasa is such a fun and memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding and the menu is really unique. It blends Mexican and Latin flavors with a true sushi experience in a way that feels creative but still authentic. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa, which were excellent, along with the queso fundido and ribeye tacos. Both were incredible and packed with flavor. For sushi, we ordered the crispy rice tuna (they also offer a spicy salmon version), the shrimp tempura roll, and the Casa Brasa roll. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The house frozen margarita was also perfect and a great pairing with the food. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel elevated without being over the top. The space itself is stunning. The decor is truly a 10/10 and you feel completely transported into a different world the moment you walk in. Every detail feels intentional and thoughtfully designed. One small detail I loved: even the to-go bags are beautiful and reusable, which just shows the level of thought they put into the overall experience. Casa Brasa is a great spot for dinner with friends or a fun night out. I will definitely be back.

Portions were very small, and food was average. I ordered the Chilean Seabass, and it barely came with any rice. The fish was smaller than what pictures convey. Overpriced new restaurant that isn't worth checking out.

Food standouts 1. Complimentary pico de gallo and habanero sauce with chips. 2. Beef Abondigas Soup which came with flavorful broth and delicious meatballs and an avocado tostada. Totally full after this course. 3. Ribeye tacos! Perfectly fatty. Could also be a good app to share for a group. Service - Fantastic! Even takeout was beautifully packaged and they brought out a purse hook tree to keep it off the ground as we finished our drinks before leaving. Ambiance. Gorgeous. From entry to bathroom. Stunning and not pretentious or made for IG only. Would come back for the soup again and try other entrees. Convenient free valet.

Very beautiful establishment with great service! The steak with chimichurri sauce was melt in your mouth delicious. The sushi rolls did not miss either. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience with the unforgettable flavors.

He said my friends weren't allowed to take photos. Unfortunately this was the best photo I could get.

If I could give zero stars I would. I don't even like giving bad reviews unless the service was horrible. This place is super aesthetic I give it that however, my friends (African American) wanted to take photos and they denied them which is odd because there were girls that were a different race (Caucasian) . My friends were dressed properly too. They didn't lecture the other group of women or tell them no at all. Ruined my friend's entire experience. Super bummed out about that, definitely expected more from a place like this. My friends will never go back and we will spread the word and post on several different platforms to raise awareness. Casa Brasa do better !

Gigantic chocolate cake (26 dollars but worth it)
    Anna Z.

Absolutely loved our experience here! We ordered the ceviche, tuna crispy rice, ribeye beef tacos, and the gigantic chocolate cake. The service was awesome, as was the food. I highly recommend all of the items we ordered. One of the sushi rolls we also ordered was pretty average, but everything else was awesome. My only complaint was that we wanted to go to the speakeasy and weren't able to get in. Bummer!

One of those places you go to for the ambiance. The vibes are swanky, but the food wasn't anything special. Not enough meat for my liking, and the tortillas fell apart easily. Our server was super nice, however!

This is truly a beautiful restaurant with great service. Our waiter Sarah was really kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and had great suggestions regarding food and drinks. I got the hanger steak and tried two of their spicy drinks which I truly loved as far as flavor and quality. Atmosphere was also fun and lively. The only thing is unlike other restaurants they do not offer any free dessert or drinks for your birthday or anniversary however the quality of the cake I ordered for my birthday was truly great. I do highly recommend this restaurant.

We invited a couple for dinner to celebrate their wedding we weren't able to attend. They are foodies, so we thought to try something different. The bread that looked amazing tasted like cardboard. The Hummus was terrible, and we are pretty snobby in the Mediterranean department. The Cesar Salad was good. Then the food came out. The seabass had to be sent back once, the second time our friend just dealt with it. I had the rack of lamb, which I get often. Awful flavor and strange celery mix underneath. The guys got Cowboy Ribeyes. My husband ate his because he hadn't eaten all day. He said, he couldn't make a better steak. Our friend had ONE BITE and didn't touch it after that. They bagged it up for him, and he left it behind. A $78 steak, not even touched. The mashed potatoes were great actually. Brussel Sprouts were the worst I've ever tasted. I think the poor server saw we weren't enjoying dinner and brought us out a complimentary chocolate tart, said to celebrate their married couple. It too was not good. Most everything was left half eaten or barely touched. I've never felt like I just threw $500 in the trash can, as I did last night. The food looked good (as shown in the pictures below, but don't be fooled) Complete disappointment. I say this as someone who worked for a restaurant group of high end restaurants for many years.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

WILL NEVER BE BACK!…read more HATED. EVERY. MOMENT. OF. THIS. PISS. POOR. EXPERIENCE. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. VALET. NOT. FREE. I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K

Upon entering you're met with dim lights, deep burgundy leather seats and images of musicians painted in every corner. The restaurant is absolutely stunning! Our table wasn't quite ready so we were asked to wait at the bar for short while. We started the celebration early by ordering a few drinks and by the time they arrived, our table was ready. We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. The Heavenly Sourdough and Meatballs Troubadour were absolutely the stars of the show! The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The marinara sauce paired wonderfully with the sourdough. For entrees, Dry-Aged Delmonico, Pomme Puree, Crispy Brussels, Honey Truffle Chicken and Whole Lobster Spaghetti. All the food was divine! We were told we had to place our entire order at once, and despite our reservation noting that we were celebrating a birthday, he never acknowledged it or even asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. When we mentioned it ourselves, he didn't respond at all. While returning from the restroom (which was also uncomfortably hot and stuffy), I spoke with the manager, Jason, about our experience and asked if we could switch servers. Thankfully, Vlad, who had been serving nearby tables, took over our table. He was a complete turnaround. Vlad was personable, energetic, attentive, and provided the level of hospitality we expected. He truly saved what he could of the experience. Our group spent over $750 on food and drinks. The appetizers and sides were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the same standard. One steak was overcooked and had to be sent back. By the time the replacement arrived, everyone else had already finished eating. The Salmon Diane was also dry and overcooked. To end the night, while we were waiting for our checks to be processed, Jason came over and told us the next reservation had arrived and that we needed to leave. We explained that we were simply waiting to pay, yet no effort was made to speed up the process by collecting our payment or offering to run the checks. It felt rushed and incredibly inhospitable, especially after everything that had already gone wrong. The only reasons this review isn't one star are Vlad and the excellent appetizers and sides. We've dined at many high-end restaurants, and this was by far one of the most disappointing service experiences we've had, especially for a special celebration. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
