This is the only Brazilian pizzeria in queens that I know of. We had "rodízio" style, which is all you can eat, they keep bringing diferente pizza flavors, and they were all pretty good! My favorites tonite were the 4 cheese and calabresa (Brazilian sausage) there's also desert pizza, and tonite we tried the Nutella with strawberries , and the BEIJINHO (little kiss) that is a coconut custard heaven!!! Must try! The place is very cute, it's BYOB. The price is very affordable, I definitely recommend, The service was very nice and friendly. The only complaint is, The Rodízio style Service is supposed to run from 6 to 10 when we got there at seven we had to wait a little bit for a first round because they made it fresh after that it kept coming, Will definitely return! read more

Came here with a crew of Brazilians and had a bangin time. Some notes: 1. Yes, "Brazilian pizza" is a thing. Brazilians eat their pizza with fork and knife; the slice is too heavy with toppings to do it NYC style. 2. Get the classic Portuguesa, topped with crumbled ham, heart of palm, hard boiled egg, and cheese - possibly a creamy Brazilian cheese called catupiry which is all over their menu. It was fantastic. Loaded with toppings but never soggy. The crust is pillowy inside in the most forgivable of ways. 3. Pizza is naturally vegetarian-friendly, and the menu has plenty of choices for the less carnivorous. Note that making the Portuguesa vegetarian (i.e. omitting the ham) tasted only 15% inferior to the full version. The Rucula, another vegetarian option, is loaded with sweet sundried tomato, but the arugula lacked that peppery bite. 4. Expect a 30 minute wait for your pie to cook. An average person would probably get full eating 2-3 slices from a large pie ($18). You can request toppings that are half and half. 5. Dessert. We had the Beijinho ("little kiss"), a Brazilian sweet made of condensed milk and coconut flakes. It's not typically on a pizza... but hell, they made a pizza of it. It's simple and tasty (and comes out immediately since no additional baking is required). 6. Thursdays and Sundays, rodizio: in the most Brazilian of fashions, all you can eat pizza for $16 per person. 7. The space is dim, modern, and clean, with long wooden tables good for groups. So disappointed. I have ordered Frango com catupiry before and it's amazing! Today I ordered again and I was very disappointed.The picture on the left was from the first time I ordered, and on the right was from today. What a difference! Love the cute & casual ambience, great to just chill and hang out, and BYOB! Server was very friendly, the only complaint was the food took soooo long, we waited for almost an hour for our pizzas and it wasnt packed or anything but guess there were a lot of walk in orders. Ordered the baiana, porteguesa, strogonoff, and nutella pizza. Baiana was our personal favorite, tasted the most clean and simple but flavorful. Nutella pizza wasnt amazing but its nutella so still yum. Maybe be back in a couple months just to see if the wait is long again. read more

I love trying out new foods and gave this place a try. Brazilian pizza sounds cool why not? We told the waitress to order for us. We ended up getting frango a passarinho and a baiana pizza. The chicken was a bit salty for our tastes but not offensively so. The pizza was ok nothing special with the toppings or the crust. I was hoping to be wow'd but we just ate and left. The waitress was super attentive and helpful but I hate to label this spot as just another pizza joint which is what it is. read more

Brazilian Pizza? This was a first for most of us and it probably won't be the last. We ended getting a large half Portuguesa - cheese, ham, eggs, heart of palm, onions, olives and half Strogonoff - cheese, chicken, pink sauce, mushrooms, potato sticks. As any good yelper would know, an egg on top of a pizza makes it healthier and it's considered brunch. The Portuguesa was by far my favorite, the dough was cooked well and it paired well with all the ingredients. The Strogonoff was a bit heavier than the Portuguesa, again, really good pairing combination. The gooeyness of the cheese melted everything together in a wonderful balance with the individual ingredients. Pro tip: this place is BYOB, so enjoy your pizza with a nice bottle of wine or beer. It was very fun and delicious experience to dine at Casa Theodoro! They have this event, Rodizio, every Thursday and Sunday. You can have 7 different pizzas as many as you want at $15.99. I normally can have only a few pizzas. But I could manage almost 10 as their pizzas are not greasy at all. The staffs are so nice and the communal seating makes the restaurant vibe friendly. Brazilian pizza. It's a new concept to me. But I found about this location from a buzz feed video. So I grabbed some friends to try it out. Needless to say it was a very pleasant surprise. The best place pizza around my house. I love their pizza here. I used to don't like pizza or toppings on pizza but ever since I tried their pizza, it is amazing and super delicious! My favorite one would be the sweet pizza, the strawberry and Nutella pizza, it's so good. I personally love Nutella so it was perfect for me. Service - great Ambiance - good Food - great The Brazilian Pizza experience is different than what NYorkers are use to. So coming to this place have that in mind. She's the reason I'm no longer ordering or going there ever again otherwise I might order and she messes up with my food. I was there today with a group of 4 friends for the Girls night out Day that they announced. The house wasn't full when we arrive they didn't get long to sit us but they get so long to star serving us. It's a Brazillian style pizza place "rodízio" so we wait more than 20 minutes to start eating. They start to get full and it was visible that they didn't have employees to get everybody and they were very desorganized. I have to get up to get plates for our table and ask the waitress for ice and catchup for the third time (or more). And when we order the sweet pizza it take another long time. Another thing to pai attention, specially if you are paying by card THEY ALREDY INCLUDE THE TIP. So pay attention to don't pay twice because they don't warn you about that. I'm sorry but the place should not advertise that they have "catupiry ". I ordered 4 pizzas, one was chicken with catupiry , all with " catupiry stuffed border" , which they charge $4 extra . I was very disappointed to find out that my border was stuffed with "white sauce"... the chicken and catupiry pizza mas nothing more than chicken with white sauce! Terrible! Service was very slow , we were the only ones in the restaurant. I asked the waitress what kind of catupiry they use it and she said is "homemade"(?) I went to Casa Theodoro with my girlfriends for the first time for ladies night rodizio and the food as well as the service was incredible. This Brazilian pizza place is great, but the service was really slow. It took my group so long to get our two savory pies, one dessert pie, and get the waiter's attention for more water and napkins. There was a long wait to get a table too. Besides the slowness, our server was pleasant. A plus is that this place is BYOB and they provide the wine glasses. The pizza was on the salty side but still tasted good. The ambiance is chill and they keep the place pretty dark but the string lights add a nice touch.
